Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for Supabase running on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Pricing follows the AWS EC2 instance type you choose. Each dimension maps to one instance type, and the hourly software rate scales with the size and family of that instance. Larger instances and specialized families for compute, memory, storage, or GPU workloads carry higher hourly rates. You are not locked into a term or fixed quantity. You run only the instances you need and stop paying when you shut them down. Vendor support is included with the deployment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover, and what am I actually paying for?
Each dimension maps to one AWS EC2 instance type. One unit equals one running instance for one hour. You pay the software rate tied to that instance type, on top of the underlying AWS compute cost. The rate reflects the instance family and size you select.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or shut down?
The hourly software charge applies only while the instance runs. When you stop or terminate the instance, the software charge stops. You may still see separate AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the software license meters running hours only.
Do I need a fixed quantity or contract term to run this?
No. Billing is usage-based with no term commitment or fixed quantity. You run only the instances you need and can start or stop them anytime. Vendor support is included with the deployment through the seller's ticket system.
