AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for support tied to your running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS instance. Each dimension maps to a specific EC2 instance type, so your rate follows the instance size and family you choose. Smaller shared instances like t1.micro and m1.small carry lower hourly rates. Compute, memory, storage, GPU, and high-memory metal families scale up from there. There are no tiers or upfront commitments. Your hourly charge depends only on which instance type you run. This billing covers vendor support for the packaged, ready-to-deploy image.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover, and what am I actually paying for?
Each dimension maps to one EC2 instance type running the packaged Ubuntu 26.04 LTS image. You pay per hour for each running instance of that type. The charge covers vendor support for the ready-to-deploy image, not the underlying AWS compute, which AWS bills separately.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
The hourly software charge meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the vendor support charge. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped, but that is separate from this listing's hourly rate.
How do I get vendor support once I am running the image?
You open a support ticket with the vendor. Include your AWS subscription ID and the product name, and describe the issue in detail. A representative then follows up. This support is what the hourly charge on your chosen instance type covers.
