AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run. All 18 options bill the same software plus support, differing only by the underlying compute. Smaller instances like t2.medium and t3.medium suit lighter workloads. Larger instances like m4.16xlarge and m4.10xlarge give more CPU and memory for heavier use. The t2 and t3 families are general-purpose burstable types. The m3 and m4 families are general-purpose types. Pricing scales with the compute capacity you choose, so you select the instance that matches your workload. No upfront commitment applies with this hourly usage model.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly software charge cover beyond the compute instance?
The hourly rate bundles the OpenWebUI software with support from Hossted on top of the EC2 compute. Support includes troubleshooting, usage guidance, and around-the-clock availability for open-source applications. You run the software on the instance size you pick, and billing runs per hour of use.
Am I charged the hourly rate when my instance is stopped or paused?
The software charge meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the hourly software fee. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage costs for attached volumes, but those are separate from this software charge. You pay for the hours the instance actually runs.
How do I move to a larger or smaller instance if my workload changes?
Each dimension bills for one EC2 instance type per hour. You are not locked into one size. If your workload grows, you switch to a larger instance and the hourly rate changes to match that type. There is no upfront commitment, so you adjust as needs shift.

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources.
