AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run. The 18 options are compute sizes, not feature tiers, so each one includes the same deployment, security scanning, and 24/7 support. Pricing scales with the instance you pick. The t2, t3, and t3a families cover general-purpose sizes from large through 2xlarge. The m3 and m4 families add larger sizes, up to m4.16xlarge. Larger instances cost more per hour to reflect added CPU and memory. You choose the size that fits your data integration workload and adjust as needs change.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly charge cover beyond the compute instance itself?
Each hourly rate includes instant deployment in your cloud, continuous security scans, and a control dashboard to manage the application. It also covers 24/7 support with a 30-minute response target. These same services apply no matter which instance size you select.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or powered off?
The software fee meters running instance-hours. When the instance is fully stopped, hourly software charges stop accruing. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage costs, but those are separate from this listing's per-hour software charge.
How do I pick between the t-family and m-family instance sizes?
All 18 options run the same secured Airbyte deployment; they differ only in CPU and memory. The t2, t3, and t3a families cover general-purpose sizes. The m3 and m4 families add larger sizes for heavier data integration workloads. You can change size as your needs shift.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

We had aimed to test this product out for our use case and somehow ended up paying for an annual license through AWS marketplace. Once we realized it we contacted the Hossted team and requested a refund. After a short back and forth with AWS, the Hossted team was able to process our refund request with AWS and refund our payment. Unfortunately, this product didn't meet our needs, but the customer service was excellent.
