AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract uses volume-based pricing across separate messaging channels, so you pay per channel based on your usage. Mobile push bills by Monthly Active Users, while web push bills by subscriber count. Email, In-App Messages, SMS, Global SMS, MMS, and Global MMS each bill by their own send or impression volume. The Custom dimension bundles unlimited contacts, API access, 20+ journeys, and custom allotments for the metered channels. Each dimension scales independently with your volume, and pricing is negotiated to fit your projected usage rather than fixed per-unit rates.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Monthly Active User for mobile push billing?
A Monthly Active User is a mobile subscription record active in your app within the last 30 days, whether or not it opted in for push. Mobile covers Android, iOS, Chrome Extensions, macOS, Windows, Windows Phone, Alexa, and Amazon Fire devices. Web push, email, and SMS are not included in this count.
How do the different channel dimensions combine into my total cost?
Each channel bills independently and appears on the same invoice. Mobile push meters Monthly Active Users, and web push meters subscribers. Email, In-App Messages, SMS, Global SMS, MMS, and Global MMS each meter their own send or impression volume. Your channel mix determines which dimension drives the largest share.
What counts as one web push subscriber for billing?
A web push subscriber is a device that has opted in to push notifications on your website, including desktop and mobile browsers. Unsubscribed devices are not counted toward your subscriber total. You get unlimited sends to those subscribers regardless of send volume.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the seamless experience the OneSignal Platform provides. The recent time-scheduling upgrade has made it even more convenient to plan and manage notifications efficiently. I also appreciate how quickly notifications are delivered to users once they’re sent. Overall, it’s a reliable and easy-to-use platform that makes communication much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue is the slow initial load time on mobile when opening the app. Might call it cold start. Don't know if I'm the only one experiencing that, but OneSignal is seamless on desktop/laptop compared to mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal helps us reach our users through push notifications, which drives more traffic to our platform. The AI feature is also useful for refining text into more engaging content, helping us improve our click-through rates.

Automated journeys have improved onboarding and retention for cross‑channel user messaging
Reviewed on Aug 26, 2026
Review provided by PeerSpot
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for OneSignal is in-app messaging and push notifications in our app.
A specific example of how I use in-app messages or push notifications with OneSignal involves the Journey feature, where I create certain campaign scenarios and set them up as CRM message campaigns.
A typical example of those campaigns would be onboarding, where if a user signs up but does not complete a key action, I can wait for a certain period and send a push notification. If they still do not engage, I can follow up with another message or a different channel.
I also used OneSignal for a retention use case, which involves segmentation of users who visit our website but do not take any specific action there. I then target those cohorts and send reminder in-app messages or in-web browser messages if they return.
What is most valuable?
The best feature OneSignal offers is the Journey feature, which is the most powerful function.
What makes the Journey feature so powerful for me is that it includes both automation and customization. It can be the automated campaign for a certain user scenario, so if I imagine something, I can make it happen as automatically set campaigns with the Journey feature.
OneSignal has positively impacted my organization as it was the very first CRM messaging SaaS in our company, making it really easy to implement.
I can share specific outcomes from using OneSignal. I first used it from the very beginning of the establishment of the CRM messaging system itself, and all those results were our first step, which improved significant results through certain CRM activity.
What needs improvement?
I am not certain how OneSignal can be improved, but recently there are so many good CRM systems and software in the field that I can name more than five of them that I have not even experienced. This indicates a need for some special distinction through special features or values that only OneSignal can provide to the field or customers.
In marketing, when a company tries to search for CRM tools, there can be uncertainty about the reasons behind the decision to start with OneSignal. I think this is definitely related to the pricing system, which is relatively cheaper than other well-known CRM messaging tools. While the price does not pose any problems, the question remains on how OneSignal can become more famous among CRM marketers in the field who are willing to use it and partially have decision-making rights. From my experience, OneSignal's product marketing is not as powerful compared to much more well-known CRM messaging tools, so improvements can be made.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used OneSignal for around one year.
How are customer service and support?
When I used OneSignal in my country, South Korea, there was no localized customer service, so I had to communicate in English. Fortunately, I can speak English, so it was no problem, but if there were no one who could speak English, that could have been trouble. That was a few years ago, and I am sure that OneSignal currently has some localized customer support systems or teams in South Korea.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before OneSignal, I did not use other CRM tools in that company.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing OneSignal, I wanted to adopt Braze first because at that time, that was the only tool that I knew. However, our superior, who was the decision-maker, decided to adopt OneSignal instead, so I had no other choice.
What other advice do I have?
My advice for others looking into using OneSignal is to recommend it to mobile-first companies, SaaS businesses, or e-commerce companies that want to improve activations, retention, and engagement through push, in-app messages, emails, or SMS, as it can be serviced by itself. It is especially suited for companies that want to launch quickly without building their own messaging infrastructure.
OneSignal is a great tool that is really easy to adopt, and I especially recommend it for the beginning of a business.
OneSignal is deployed in my organization on our private servers. I rate this product a 9 out of 10.
