OneSignal strengthened our communication strategies
What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal has been a great ally in our communication strategies. In addition to using social media and email, we found in the push notifications and especially In-App features a powerful way to complement these channels and generate much more impact. What caught our attention the most was the efficiency of In-App messages: we can reach the user at the exact moment they are interacting with our app or site, significantly increasing engagement and retention rates. Push notifications also play an important role, but it was the In-App that really made a difference in how we connect with the audience. Without a doubt, OneSignal helped elevate our communications to a new level.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is a downside, it is that the initial plan is somewhat limited in terms of features and user volume. For small projects, it works well, but as engagement starts to grow, it quickly becomes necessary to consider an upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal solves a very clear problem: the difficulty of consistently engaging users across different channels. Before, our communications relied solely on social media and email, which often did not reach the audience at the right moment. With OneSignal, we are able to combine push notifications and In-App messages, which deliver the message directly to the user at the moment they are active. This has benefited us greatly, as it has increased open rates, engagement, and retention, in addition to perfectly complementing the other channels we were already using.
The interface is clear, the features are well thought out, and above all, it's very practical.
What do you like best about the product?
In just a few minutes, you can set up targeted and automated notifications, without needing advanced technical skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like less about OneSignal is that some advanced features are reserved for paid plans, and the customization of notifications on iOS is more limited than on Android.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Frankly, OneSignal makes my life easier. Before, I struggled to set up a notification system, now with two clicks it goes straight to the users. It saves me time and allows me to keep my app alive without any hassle.

The service is clear, stable, and allows me to schedule and segment campaigns easily.

Easy and reliable notifications

The integration with my app was quite simple. The dashboard is very intuitive and allows me to segment users without complications.

Everything works very well, perhaps the documentation for specific cases was not very clear...

I don't have to worry about the infrastructure or delivery, I simply focus on app development and know that the messages arrive.

From the beginning, the support was very proactive and attentive, following all the steps for configuration and start of use.

So far, nothing. The only detail is for SMS, which, for very low volumes, needs to be contracted through Twilio.

What do you like best about the product?
We have tested One Signal with several projects for apps on iOS, Android, and also websites. The implementations are simple, the connection with the API is also very easy, and this allows people who do not know the service in depth to implement it quickly and easily. They have a very robust free tier, and the paid tier is quite accessible for most businesses that are scaling. Additionally, it is possible to integrate valuable features such as in-app push notifications, A/B testing, and many other necessary elements.
What do you dislike about the product?
there are elements that could be added to the free tier, metrics like CTR or new user acquisition would be very valuable, which were available before and for some time now have been left only for premium users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
they have had a constant evolution and this has allowed the addition of valuable functions that were not there before, automated flows are proof of this, furthermore they constantly ask for feedback to improve their support, which is very valuable for users

What do you dislike about the product?
API and manual/automatic notifications are listed on different pages. The listing pages for notifications are not very feature-rich, for example: they lack some sorting and filtering options.
