Data Detail:
The music product contains a subset of notable and chart-topping artists receiving significant levels of audience attention during the engagement period. Diesel Labs's Music library is updated on a regular basis.
Engagements are defined and collected based on specified Diesel Labs methodology for this particular analysis. If you require a custom methodology, please reach out to the Diesel Labs team.
Methodology:
Diesel Labs is a data curation company that specializes in deriving insights from the major social and video platforms to help researchers and analysts understand what topics are the most important and why. This report includes data from Instagram, Twitter (X), YouTube, and Wikipedia, across all relevant engagement types (video views, page views, likes, shares and comments).
Application guidance / ideas:
This report can be used in conjunction with other forms of data (streams, weeks on top charts, sales numbers) to provide a holistic look at how an artist's music is capturing audience attention. For example, it may be expected that a top-selling artist is highly engaged with, but there may be more opportunity to run campaigns and reach new listeners if that artist falls to the bottom of the social engagement rankings list. Understanding how artists stack up in terms of engagement can also assist in understanding the music landscape and what may be driving or pulling attention from one artist to another. This can be supported by qualitative conversation summaries (reach out to Diesel for more)
About Diesel Labs:
Diesel Labs measures audience engagement with content across all major social and video platforms - curating, organizing and analyzing the vast unstructured data and readying it for seamless integration into business intelligence tools, reporting and even generative AI models.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single contract-based pricing dimension called Product Access (Units). You buy access to the product through units under a contract term. Pricing scales with the number of units you commit to. There are no separate tiers, instance sizes, or usage add-ons to choose from. You select the unit quantity that fits your needs, and billing follows the agreed contract. This gives you data and analytics access covering music artists and engagement insights across social and video platforms.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit of Product Access represent for billing?
A unit represents access to the product under your contract. You choose the number of units to commit to, and your total cost scales with that quantity. The unit grants subscriber access to the data and analytics covering top music artists and engagements across social and video platforms.
Is this pay-as-you-go, or do I commit to units upfront?
This is a contract-based model. You commit to a set number of units for the agreed term rather than paying per hour or per query. There is no variable usage metering. Your cost is fixed by the unit quantity you select at the start of the contract.
What kind of data and insights does the product access cover?
You get curated data and analytics on top music artists and their engagement. The insights draw from major social and video platforms, organized and analyzed using the vendor's technology. This supports research, marketing, and content strategy work for your teams.
