This ready-to-deploy AMI gives you a working ERP without assembling Python, Node.js, MariaDB, Redis and a web server yourself, and without setting up background workers and a scheduler by hand. The application runs in containers, on Frappe's own container images. ERPNext, its background workers, its scheduler, the database and the caches are managed by Docker Compose on the instance, so application updates can be delivered without replacing the AMI. The database and caches run on an isolated internal network with no port exposed to the internet.

Your ERP is installed and ready when the installer finishes. The database, your site and every bundled app are created for you, and the administrator sign-in is shown once, at the end of installation. When you first sign in, ERPNext's own setup wizard asks for your company, country and currency.

The instance needs only three inbound ports: 22, 80 and 443. This image does not include a mail server, so ERPNext sends and receives through a mail provider that you configure.
