Each license maps to one paid member. A member consumes a paid seat and has full access to create their own boards and content. Guests and visitors do not consume a paid seat: guests need a free account and get limited access, while visitors join boards through a shared public link.
Adding a member mid-cycle is prorated, so you pay only for the days remaining in your billing period. Removing a member takes effect at renewal, not immediately. To reduce seats, make the change before your renewal date.
Credits power the AI suite and are pooled across your organization, consumed per AI action. The credit count scales with your seat count. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Admins can monitor usage. If you need more, additional credit packages are available for purchase.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro’s infinite canvas makes it easy to map out complex analysis pipelines with my team in real time. We use it to sketch genomics and single-cell workflows, from raw data through QC, normalization, clustering and downstream analysis, and everyone can add comments or sticky notes at the same time. It has replaced a lot of back-and-forth emails and slide decks for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large boards can get slow and laggy, especially when they contain many images, embedded files or hundreds of sticky notes. When I map out detailed analysis pipelines or long brainstorming sessions, navigation and zooming become noticeably less responsive, and older laptops struggle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of explaining complex computational work. Genomics and machine learning pipelines involve many steps, tools and dependencies that are hard to convey in text or slides. Mapping them visually on a shared board helps the whole team understand the full workflow, spot bottlenecks and agree on changes faster.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me design the data flow before diving into the actual development. From creating a model to working with UML, the whole cycle makes it easier to understand the software and align on how everything fits together. For frontend UI as well, brainstorming becomes much easier, especially when discussing ideas in a collaborative way.
In terms of performance, it’s very reliable when multiple team members are working and editing on the same board, and even within the same module. Onboarding new users is also straightforward, and the granular access support is one of the best features. Integration with Jira and Confluence is seamless with Miro.

What do you dislike about the product?
Miro’s pricing can start to feel expensive as a team grows, and the limits on AI credits can be restrictive if you rely on the intelligent features on a regular basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling with designing the architecture, then connecting it to the data flow, and finally extracting the specifics to turn it into user stories. Miro helps us a lot here—from discussing the architecture within the team to presenting it to stakeholders. Being able to get live feedback and iterate on it has improved the whole cycle.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is its intuitive visual collaboration space, which makes brainstorming, planning, and sharing ideas easy. Its real-time collaboration tools, templates, and integrations help teams stay aligned, organize their thoughts, and turn ideas into actionable plans efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Miro is that boards can become cluttered and overwhelming when working on large projects. Some advanced features can also take time to learn, and navigating complex boards or managing permissions can sometimes feel less intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of collaborating, brainstorming, and organizing ideas in one place. It helps me visualize workflows, share ideas with team members, and keep everyone aligned, even when working remotely. This saves time, improves communication, and makes planning and problem-solving more efficient.
