Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each license maps to one paid member. A member consumes a paid seat and has full access to create their own boards and content. Guests and visitors do not consume a paid seat: guests need a free account and get limited access, while visitors join boards through a shared public link.
Adding a member mid-cycle is prorated, so you pay only for the days remaining in your billing period. Removing a member takes effect at renewal, not immediately. To reduce seats, make the change before your renewal date.
Credits power the AI suite and are pooled across your organization, consumed per AI action. The credit count scales with your seat count. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Admins can monitor usage. If you need more, additional credit packages are available for purchase.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Miro makes collaboration and brainstorming simple and visual. The drag-and-drop interface, templates, and real-time collaboration make it easy to organize ideas, work with others, and turn complex concepts into clear visual boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can feel a little overwhelming when working with large boards, especially when there are many elements. It can also take some time to get familiar with all the features, and some advanced features feel limited unless you’re on a paid plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of organizing ideas and collaborating in one visual workspace. It makes brainstorming, planning projects, creating diagrams, and sharing ideas much easier than relying on scattered notes or documents. This helps me stay organized, communicate ideas clearly, and collaborate more efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
The infinite canvas provides total freedom for building complex technical diagrams, mapping out application workflows, and organizing system architecture without rigid structural limits. Real-time cursor tracking, interactive sticky notes, and smooth multi-user collaboration make virtual whiteboarding and technical planning sessions feel engaging and efficient across distributed teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can drop significantly on complex boards with hundreds of objects, causing noticeable lag and slow rendering. Large boards can also become visually chaotic without strict organization, and export options sometimes mess up formatting. The pricing structure can quickly get expensive as you add more full-access team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of distributed team alignment, context switching, and fragmented planning by consolidating disparate technical discussions into a single, real-time visual workspace. By replacing static text documents and isolated whiteboard photos with an infinite, interactive canvas, it bridges the gap between engineering, product, and design teams during complex system architecture reviews and sprint planning. What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is how easy it makes collaboration. It gives everyone a shared space to brainstorm, organize ideas, and work together visually without making things feel complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Miro is that it can feel a bit overwhelming once boards get large. The UI is generally good, but navigating complex boards and keeping everything organized can take some effort. Some integrations could also be smoother, and performance can slow down with very busy boards. Pricing can feel a little high for smaller teams, while onboarding and support could be more straightforward. The AI features are useful, but I think they still have room to become more practical and consistent in everyday workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps bring ideas, discussions, and project planning into one shared space instead of having everything spread across different tools. I find it especially useful for brainstorming and collaborating with teammates, because everyone can contribute and see the bigger picture. It makes communication more visual, keeps work organized, and reduces unnecessary back-and-forth.

What I like most about Miro is its flexible visual workspace. The infinite canvas, templates, diagrams, and collaboration tools make it easy to organize ideas, plan projects, brainstorm, and present information clearly. I also find the AI features useful for turning ideas into structured content and speeding up repetitive tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the learning curve when using some of Miro’s more advanced features. With a large number of tools, templates, and options available, it can sometimes take time to find the right feature. Performance can also feel slower on very large boards with many elements. A simpler navigation experience and better guidance for advanced features would make it even easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me solve the challenge of organizing ideas, planning projects, and collaborating with others in one visual workspace. Instead of keeping ideas across different documents and tools, I can use boards, templates, diagrams, and brainstorming activities in one place. This makes planning and communication clearer, helps me work more efficiently with my student community, and makes it easier to turn ideas into structured plans.
