BridgeLink™ is an enterprise-grade open-source healthcare integration platform, built on a hardened and modernized fork of open source Mirth® Connect. It enables healthcare data exchange across HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, DICOM, X12, XML, JSON, and Delimited Text with built-in message transformation and routing. Built-in connectors support HTTPS REST APIs, SOAP web services, TCP/MLLP, SFTP, direct database read and write, and much more.

CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Usage instructions
When a new AMI is deployed for the first time, BridgeLink version 26.3.1 and PostgreSQL 17 will be installed, auto configured and started. The BridgeLink will be automatically allocated 50% of the total memory of the EC2 instance. When launching a new stack from the Cloudformation template, you can set up parameters such as PostgreSQL database username and password, BridgeLink admin password. BridgeLink status can then be checked by running: "systemctl status bridgelink". BridgeLink default index page will be accessible at http://<public_dns>:8080 or from the BridgeLink Connect Administrator Launcher at https://<public_dns>:8443. Please use the password you enter in the Cloudformation template to login. The default username is admin. BridgeLink configuration can be found in /etc/bridgelink/conf/mirth.properties
