Podfather is a SaaS solution hosted on the AWS cloud platform and comprises a
back office system and an easy to use driver app. Our app replaces the need for
your drivers to travel with paper tickets; it's fast, efficient, gives you real time
visibility and full time accountability for what's going on out on the road every
day and runs on even the most basic of smart device (both Android & iOS
versions are available). Key features:
Route planning & optimisation: Our planning tools will adapt to suit your
needs irrespective of whether you are managing multi drop deliveries or bulk
load planning. We can accommodate pre-allocated routes, routing by region or
operational planning, where you optimize your plans with every run. We will
ensure your route plans meet your customer time window constraints, account
for resource availability and produce a result that you and your drivers can rely
on.
Vehicle checks: Your drivers can use our vehicle check feature to ensure all
relevant defects information is captured electronically and dealt with swiftly.
Swapping from a paper vehicle check to a digital one is a big step forward to
adhering to the rules and regulations required when out on the road.
ETA notifications & driver tracking: With Podfather you can give your
customers full visibility of when a driver will arrive on site. Our customers
report an instant cut in the number of "where's my delivery?" type calls,
enabling key personnel to focus on other tasks. Customers can keep track on
the day with live tracking links, ensuring they are ready to receive your driver.
This functionality will help you improve first time on time delivery performance.
ePOD: Electronic proof of delivery is fast becoming the 'norm' amongst forward
thinking logistics fleet operators. Capture real time information about what is
being delivered where, with time, date and location stamps for accuracy.
Drivers can capture photographs and electronic signatures, ensuring you have
the information you need to deal with discrepancies. By sharing accurate ePOD
information with your customers you can invoice faster and improve your
business cash flow.
Reporting: With Podfather you have an accurate picture of what's going on
across your operation. You have detailed route plans and a clear picture of
what's happening out on the road. Data captured by the Podfather solution
enables you to make informed business decisions that will impact future
business growth.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Monthly licenses are invoiced in arrears based on the number of active mobile application licenses each month. For clarity, an "active" license is a license that has completed a transaction, which is any kind of job that can be processed on the mobile app, including deliveries, collections, vehicle checks, etc.
This listing uses a single pricing dimension based on mobile users. You pay per active mobile application license each month. A license counts as active only when it completes a transaction, such as a delivery, collection, or vehicle check. Billing happens monthly in arrears, so charges reflect actual usage from the prior month. Your cost scales directly with the number of licenses that processed jobs. Licenses that stay idle do not trigger a charge. This keeps the pricing tied to real mobile activity across your delivery operation.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as an 'active' mobile license for billing each month?
An active license is one that completes a transaction during the month. A transaction is any job processed on the mobile app, including deliveries, collections, and vehicle checks. Each mobile application license that processes at least one such job counts as active for that month.
Am I charged for a mobile license that stays idle and processes no jobs in a month?
No. Charges apply only to licenses that complete a transaction during the month. A license that processes no deliveries, collections, or vehicle checks does not count as active and does not trigger a charge for that month.
Is this billed upfront or based on what I actually use?
You are billed monthly in arrears based on actual usage. Charges reflect the number of active licenses from the prior month, so your cost tracks real mobile activity rather than a fixed upfront commitment. There is no charge for licenses that stay unused.
