You pay by the hour for this hardened openEuler 22.03 image, billed per running EC2 instance. Pricing is not tiered. Instead, each rate maps to a specific EC2 instance type you choose at launch. The many options cover general-purpose, compute-, memory-, storage-optimized, and accelerated instance families across a range of sizes. Larger instances with more CPU, memory, or GPU capacity carry higher hourly rates. Your total cost depends on which instance type you run and how many hours you run it. You add standard AWS infrastructure charges separately.

What exactly does one hourly charge cover for a given instance type?
Each rate covers the hardened openEuler 22.03 software running on one EC2 instance of that specific type. You pay for each hour the instance runs. Choosing a different instance type changes the hourly rate. Running more instances multiplies the charge by the number running.
Am I charged the hourly software fee when my instance is stopped?
The software fee meters running instance-hours. A fully stopped instance does not accrue this hourly software charge. You may still pay underlying AWS fees, such as storage for the attached volume, while the instance is stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
What do I pay beyond this software rate to run the image?
The listed rate covers only the hardened openEuler software per hour. Standard AWS infrastructure charges apply separately, including EC2 compute, storage volumes, and data transfer. These appear on your AWS bill alongside the software charge. The vendor provides quarterly updates and support for the last three major versions.

Note: For all Avora Linux AMI products, the default login username is ec2-user.
Connect via SSH:
Launch the Instance: Launch an instance from this AMI using the EC2 Console or AWS CLI. Ensure you select a Key Pair during the launch process.
Security Group: Make sure the Security Group attached to the instance allows inbound traffic on TCP port 22 (SSH) from your IP address.
Connect: Open your terminal or SSH client and connect using the default username and your private key file.
The software listing fee covers continuous CI/CD updates, patch integration, baseline security hardening, and enterprise packaging. It does not constitute a managed infrastructure or IT consulting agreement. Vendor support strictly focuses on image integrity, platform initialization, and pre-configured baselines.
For full-scale cloud migration, custom architecture design, or Day-2 operations, customers are encouraged to engage AWS Professional Services or an AWS Certified Partner.
