Boot & Compatibility Optimization To ensure seamless performance and reliable booting within the AWS infrastructure (where TPCM is not present), this image is specifically configured to use Legacy BIOS instead of UEFI. By pairing this with a GPT partition table, we provide full support for high-capacity storage volumes exceeding 2TB, ensuring a stable and scalable experience for enterprise users.
System and Partition Configuration The system supports both Standard Partitioning and LVM (Logical Volume Management) layouts. The root filesystem is available in either ext4 or XFS formats. Each image is rigorously optimized for performance and stability based on its respective filesystem structure.

What exactly am I paying for with this hourly software rate?
You pay for the openEuler 22.03 Minimal image that AVORA TECHNOLOGY has hardened and tuned. This charge covers the vendor's optimized operating system image only. It is separate from the underlying AWS compute, storage, and network charges for the EC2 instance you run it on.
Am I charged the software fee when my instance is stopped or paused?
The hourly software rate meters only while the instance runs. A stopped or paused instance does not accrue the software charge. Stopped instances may still incur standard AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are billed by AWS, not as part of this software cost.
How does my hourly cost change if I switch to a bigger instance type?
Each dimension maps to one EC2 instance type, and the software rate is set per type. Moving to a type with more compute, memory, storage, or accelerators changes your hourly rate to that type's rate. The change is not gradual; it applies fully once you launch the new type.

Connect via SSH:
Launch the Instance: Launch an instance from this AMI using the EC2 Console or AWS CLI. Ensure you select a Key Pair during the launch process.
Security Group: Make sure the Security Group attached to the instance allows inbound traffic on TCP port 22 (SSH) from your IP address.
Connect: Open your terminal or SSH client and connect using the default username and your private key file.
