    AI Insights

     Info

    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you choose to run this self-hosted AI platform. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance size, so pricing scales with the compute, memory, storage, or GPU resources you select. Smaller shared-CPU instances like t2 and t3 suit light workloads. Compute-optimized (c4, c5), memory-optimized (r4, r5, x1e), storage (d2, i3), and GPU (p2, p3, g3) families cover heavier needs. You are billed only while an instance runs. Choose a larger instance for more capacity or a smaller one to reduce hourly cost.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A stopped instance stops accruing hourly software fees. You may still pay underlying AWS storage costs for attached volumes, since data is retained. Restarting the instance resumes hourly billing for the size you selected.
Each hourly unit reflects one running EC2 instance of the chosen type. GPU families like p2, p3, and g3 include graphics processing hardware for model inference. You select the cuda version at install time to use GPU acceleration. You pay for each hour that instance runs.
You are not locked to one instance. If you deploy a new instance from a different family or size, billing follows that instance's hourly rate while it runs. There is no automatic tier upgrade. You choose the instance manually, and hourly cost changes to match the new selection.
