Manage your Linux patching - Keep ahead of your auditor with simple, customisable, standards based rules on what to patch and when. The solution is self hosted so you are not sharing any data with anyone you don't want to. Scales from a handful to hundreds of instances monitored. We've used industry standard CVSS vulnerability scoring and our knowledge of OS updates to build a tool where you can define your schedules to see what needs to be patched and when.

Flotilla uses one usage-based pricing dimension. You pay per host, per hour. A host is a Linux machine that Flotilla monitors and patches. Your cost scales with two factors: how many machines you manage and how long they run. Add more hosts and the hourly charge rises; run them for fewer hours and it falls. There are no tiers or fixed commitments here. You are billed only for actual usage. You can cancel at any time.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one host for billing purposes?
A host is a single Linux machine that Flotilla monitors and patches. Each machine you connect counts as one host. You can group multiple machines and apply updates together, but billing still counts each machine as a separate host, charged per hour of use.
Am I charged for hosts that are powered off or not being monitored?
Charges apply per active host per hour. The software meters running time only. You are billed based on actual usage, so hosts that are not running should not accrue software charges. You can cancel at any time with no fixed commitment.
Is this pay-as-you-go, or do I commit upfront?
This is usage-based pricing with no upfront commitment. You pay per host per hour for actual running time. There is no free trial or refund policy, but you can cancel at any point. Your bill rises and falls with how many hosts you run and for how long.

CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
