AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Sage pricing combines an annual platform access fee with usage-based savings fees. You pay the Platform Access Fee once per year. It covers access to Sage, onboarding, security integrations, and your core contract entitlement. Separate from that, you pay savings fees tied to the cost reductions Sage achieves. These are billed monthly, per $1 USD of savings. One savings dimension bills at a 25% rate; the other applies the base savings rate. Savings fees scale with how much you save, so charges rise or fall with actual results.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one billable unit for the savings fees?
Each savings fee is billed per $1 USD of cost savings that Sage achieves on your cloud spend. The charge is calculated on actual reductions, not your total cloud bill. As Sage lowers your costs across services, the recorded savings become the base for that month's fee.
How do the Platform Access Fee and the savings fees combine on my bill?
The Platform Access Fee is billed once per year for access, onboarding, and security integrations. The savings fees are billed separately each month based on realized savings. Both apply at the same time. The annual fee stays fixed, while the monthly savings fees rise or fall with actual results.
What happens to the savings fees if Sage achieves no savings in a given month?
The savings fees are tied to actual cost reductions, billed per $1 USD of savings. If no savings are recorded in a month, no savings fee accrues for that period. The annual Platform Access Fee is separate and remains due regardless of monthly savings results.
