Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance size, so the pricing scales with the compute resources you select. Smaller general-purpose and burstable instances (like t2, t3, and t3a families) suit light workloads. Larger M-family sizes and bare-metal options add more CPU and memory for heavier use. The software comes preconfigured on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with a MySQL database. You choose one instance type to match your capacity needs, and your total cost rises with the size you pick.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension maps to one specific AWS EC2 instance type. You pay for one running instance per hour. The CPU and memory you get depend on the instance family and size you pick, from small burstable t-family sizes up to large M-family and bare-metal options.
The hourly software charge applies while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the software fee. You may still pay underlying AWS charges, such as storage for the attached volume, while the instance is stopped.
You do not upgrade in place. Each instance type is a separate hourly rate. To add capacity, you launch a bigger instance type from the list. Your hourly cost then reflects that larger size. This change is manual, not automatic.

Usage instructions
1.- Launch the product via 1-Click 2.- Use a web browser to access the Guacamole console at: http://[ec2-ip]:8080/guacamole, where [ec2-ip] is the public ip provided by Amazon for your instance. 3.- Log in using the following credentials: - Username: 'guacadmin' - Password: the 'instance_id' of the instance
Apache Tomcat Manager and Host Manager Applications are disabled by default.
You can also access your instance via SSH using the username 'ubuntu' and your Amazon private key.
