    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour for a preconfigured image that runs Keycloak with a MySQL database on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Pricing has one structure: an hourly software rate tied to the EC2 instance type you choose. The many options here are not feature tiers. Each one maps to a different instance size and family, from small burstable types to large and bare-metal machines. Your cost scales with the compute capacity you select. Larger instances carry higher hourly rates. You add the standard AWS infrastructure charges on top, and you can stop hourly billing by shutting down the instance.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

You get a preconfigured image running Keycloak, an identity and access management tool, paired with a MySQL database on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Each hourly rate maps to one running EC2 instance of the type you choose. The software is set up and ready to launch.
The software rate meters running time only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage for the instance volume may still bill while it exists. Start the instance again to resume software billing.
The instance type you pick drives your rate. Each option maps to a specific EC2 size and family, from small burstable types to large and bare-metal machines. One rate applies per running instance per hour. Bigger instances carry higher hourly rates because they supply more compute.
