AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract-based service prices five independent units that you select based on your needs. CMD Access gives you the reporting portal. Managed AMI covers building, monitoring, and managing a custom machine image. CloudFormation handles provisioning templates for your customers. Managed Onboarding supports getting customers set up. Managed SaaS Fulfillment provides a hosted page for SaaS customer onboarding. These are separate options, not tiers. You add each unit you want rather than choosing a single plan. Pricing scales with the quantity of units you commit to under contract.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit of CMD Access give me for billing purposes?
One CMD Access unit gives you entry to the CMD Portal. This portal provides listing performance metrics and prebuilt dashboards. It can integrate with your core business applications. You buy access as its own unit, separate from the AMI, CloudFormation, onboarding, and fulfillment units.
Which unit drives cost if I only need customer provisioning, not AMI management?
The CloudFormation unit covers provisioning templates for your customers. The Managed AMI unit covers building, monitoring, and managing a custom machine image, including patching and build pipelines. These bill independently. If you only need provisioning, you buy CloudFormation units without adding Managed AMI units.
How do the Managed Onboarding and Managed SaaS Fulfillment units differ?
Managed Onboarding supports getting your customers set up on your listing. Managed SaaS Fulfillment provides a hosted page that handles new SaaS customer onboarding through Marketplace. Each is a separate unit. You can buy one, both, or neither, depending on your delivery model.
