ICIMS is sold as a contract priced by employee count. This listing covers a single dimension set at 100 employees. Your price ties to the size of your workforce rather than usage volume or the number of hires you make. There are no separate tiers, add-ons, or instance sizes to combine here. You commit to the contract term for one employee-count band, giving you a predictable, fixed cost that scales with company headcount. To size a plan for a different employee count, work with the vendor.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one employee for billing on this contract?
Your price ties to your total workforce headcount, not the number of hires you make or the volume of applications you process. This dimension is set at a 100-employee band. Employee count reflects the size of your organization, so your cost stays fixed regardless of how many candidates move through the system.
Does my cost change if I run more recruiting activity or hire more people?
No. Pricing is based on employee count, not usage. Running more sourcing campaigns, processing more candidates, or making more hires does not raise your bill under this contract. Your cost stays fixed for the employee band you commit to. To move to a different band, work with the vendor.
What capabilities are included at this contract level?
The contract covers the hiring platform, including applicant tracking, text recruiting, onboarding, and reporting and analytics. You get role-specific workflows, configurable dashboards, and integrations with your existing HR tools. These features come with the platform rather than as separately priced add-ons on this listing.

I have been using iCIMS Recruit for over five years. I utilize iCIMS Recruit for onboarding processes and the recruitment processes to attract the best talent in the industry. Manual screening has slowed high-volume hiring but navigation has supported basic candidate review
Reviewed on Aug 16, 2026
Review provided by PeerSpot
What is our primary use case?
I was part of the recruiting team and we used iCIMS Recruit primarily for applicant viewing.
Whenever an applicant applied to a role, the application landed in our iCIMS Recruit account. I would go to a specific role and then look at the candidate applications. There were a bunch of filters I used at that time. Typically, the ones that met our requirements would move forward to our internal applicant tracking system. The ones that did not would get rejected through iCIMS Recruit.
This was primarily the reason why we used iCIMS Recruit in our workflow.
What is most valuable?
The good features of iCIMS Recruit were that it was very easy to use. If I had to pick up an ATS and start using it without knowing anything about it, iCIMS Recruit would be one of them. It was pretty easy to use, user-friendly, and easy to learn.
The layout and navigation of iCIMS Recruit were straightforward. When I was using iCIMS, it was with very basic, simple, limited features. I did not invest in a lot of training. I was not given official training by anybody, but when you go on iCIMS Recruit, the tabs are fairly straightforward and you know what to do from there.
iCIMS Recruit made the overall workflow and integrations for different systems very easy and seamless.
What needs improvement?
With the changing times and the new applicant tracking systems in the market, there is a lot more that can be added now.
There is so much that can be done with iCIMS Recruit. iCIMS Recruit was easy to use, but it did not have all the features to shortlist candidates. For example, if I received 1,000 applications for a role, it was almost impossible for me to narrow it down to the candidates that were in a specific geographic location or had specific skills. Applicant screening was very difficult sometimes simply because there was absolutely no way to create filters or sorting or run keyword searches.
I think this is a very basic feature that when you review an applicant in iCIMS Recruit, you should be able to run a filter on all the applicants that applied, and those were completely missing.
As I mentioned, it was challenging to shortlist candidates based on what I saw on iCIMS Recruit. Eventually, the company moved away from iCIMS Recruit simply because it did not provide all the options to filter, keyword search, or navigate applicants. There were typically a lot of candidates that used to apply. It was painful for a recruiter to go through all the applicants one by one.
For how long have I used the solution?
I used iCIMS Recruit for about five years, approximately five years ago.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
iCIMS Recruit is stable in my experience, but it used to have a lot of slow loading pages. It took a while to load a page. However, once the page loaded, it was fairly stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
That was fairly fine with iCIMS Recruit. It is a system that runs searches for you and brings candidates to you. I do not have any doubts about its ability to be accurate or reliable. I do not know if there are recent AI integrations that have happened.
How are customer service and support?
The customer support for iCIMS Recruit was okay.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
The company had been using iCIMS Recruit for a very long time before I joined.
I was not involved in the decision making when iCIMS Recruit was chosen. It was long before I joined the company.
How was the initial setup?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for iCIMS Recruit was somewhere in between.
What was our ROI?
I am pretty sure the company was not saving a lot of money with iCIMS Recruit. The company actually transitioned to creating an applicant tracking system at their end. Eventually, the company created one in-house. There was not too much money savings that were driven with that.
What other advice do I have?
Those who want to buy iCIMS Recruit as a solution must certainly look into the AI capabilities and how iCIMS Recruit is building up in terms of advancement within the AI space. It should have been more updated by now.
I hope iCIMS Recruit is up to speed with the market dynamics. It was lacking innovation during the days I used it. There are so many comparable and very competitive products available in the market. If they are trying to up their brand value, this is the time where they should really invest in building those technical capabilities that are out in the market right now. My overall rating for iCIMS Recruit is 3.5 out of 5.

Recruitment workflows have become faster and now managers provide structured feedback on candidates
Reviewed on Jul 21, 2026
Review provided by PeerSpot
What is our primary use case?
I follow up on recruitment requisitions and managers provide me feedback on open positions. For example, I had to provide training to managers transitioning from Workday to the new ATS, iCIMS Recruit. I showed them how to open a requisition, provide feedback, and leave comments in the platform.
I use iCIMS Recruit for posting positions, connecting with LinkedIn and other job boards, and following up with candidates until I finish and close the requisition.
I only use iCIMS Recruit for recruitment. I am responsible for ensuring that data governance is in place and updated. I provide follow-up the same day and verify that everything is functioning properly. For example, when I upload a job description, I ensure it displays correctly on LinkedIn or Indeed. I must be aware of everything that happens on iCIMS Recruit.
What is most valuable?
I love the feedback feature in iCIMS Recruit and that managers are aware of everything happening in the platform. The only challenge is that it can be difficult to make managers aware that they need to follow positions in the platform and learn how to use it so we can work together.
In iCIMS Recruit, one of the features we use is that managers must leave feedback, and if they don't provide feedback on a candidate, we cannot advance with that candidate. This helps us maintain visibility of who is passing all interviews and who is not.
iCIMS Recruit has impacted my organization positively because it is easier to use and more user-friendly than alternatives. It helps us maintain better data governance without many issues. With Workday, data management is very complicated. If you make a mistake in one step, you have to repeat the entire operation. With iCIMS Recruit, you do not encounter this problem.
Processes are faster with iCIMS Recruit. My KPIs include time to fill, data governance, follow-up with candidates who don't continue in the process, and how we progress candidates through the pipeline. iCIMS Recruit helps a lot and saves us time.
What needs improvement?
I feel that clearer instructions would be helpful because sometimes we have to download all information for the managers, and managers are often very basic users. Something easier to share would be beneficial.
I feel that if iCIMS Recruit provided more training, such as two to four trainings a month, to stay updated with the platform and changes that the engineers make, that would be helpful. More straightforward ways to complete processes would also be great.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using iCIMS Recruit for one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
iCIMS Recruit is stable.
How are customer service and support?
The customer support for iCIMS Recruit is very good. One time I was offline and could not log in to my account in iCIMS Recruit, and I had to call customer service. They were very helpful and assisted me with everything I needed so I could enter and log in again to my account.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing iCIMS Recruit, I evaluated other options such as Lever.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using iCIMS Recruit is that they must have patience. It is a new tool, and always review the instructions. When you understand how iCIMS Recruit works, it becomes very easy.
The organization was considering hiring Lever, but ultimately stayed with iCIMS Recruit. I am very happy with the outcome of iCIMS Recruit, and I give this review an overall rating of nine out of ten. Thank you very much.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate, with sandbox features that let you fully customize and test every aspect of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few limitations around customization that I’d really like to see opened up, as it would make the experience more flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes the candidate experience for potential hires easy when applying, and the workflow tracking helps us stay OFCCP-compliant from cradle to grave.

Recruiting workflows have become organized and reporting now tracks candidate progress clearly
Reviewed on Jul 06, 2026
Review provided by PeerSpot
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for iCIMS Recruit is as an applicant tracking system where I review candidates, disposition candidates, and set up candidate screening, which may be virtual or in person. I create offer letters in iCIMS Recruit, create bonus forms, create text message responses, create Calendly messages, and fully utilize it as an ATS system.
iCIMS Recruit is a user-friendly applicant tracking system overall. When integrated correctly within an organization, recruiters find it intuitive and easy to pick up. It allows them to maintain record-keeping for candidates through every step of the process. I recommend its usage on a recruiting team. In my everyday usage, I use it solely in the recruitment process all the way to the offer stage and even to the endpoint of sending the background check form through iCIMS Recruit.
What is most valuable?
The ability to have a record of every touchpoint with a candidate makes my job easier in iCIMS Recruit. In recruiting, it can be easy to miss a step while moving through the workflow. iCIMS Recruit allows me to look within the candidate's record to see each step and where I am in the process, and it gives me the ability to identify when I haven't pushed a candidate to hiring manager review. This provides a good checkpoint to stop and take a pause.
The best feature that iCIMS Recruit offers is the find candidates function. I use this feature by inputting the title of what I am looking for, the distance the person might live from the particular location, and how long they have been in the system, ranging from seven days up to ninety days. This function helps recruiters find passive candidates who have either been touched previously and are not recalled or have been touched by a previous team member but might still be interested in a new opportunity.
Regarding finding better candidates, it is neutral; the candidate may be out of the job market. However, knowing which candidates in the system I have not explored and want to revisit is a great feature, making it useful overall.
I appreciate that iCIMS Recruit has a robust training setup within the system, and I value how they update me with new trainings that might be coming up to give me a competitive edge on utilizing the system.
iCIMS Recruit has impacted our organization positively through the reporting system. Beyond our leadership using the reporting system to track KPIs and metrics, I as a recruiter can also use the system to track my own KPIs and metrics to see where I stand regarding time to fill, average time to fill, how many hires I have had within a certain period of time, whether that is three months, six months, or a year. The ability to see these features and download these reports is very helpful.
What needs improvement?
iCIMS Recruit can be improved by adding additional features related to looking for attrition rate and seeing how many people actually stay within roles, especially for those high-volume roles that have high turnover. I do not recall seeing any features related to attrition rate, but as a recruiter working on roles that tend to have high turnover, seeing where my percentage falls and how I can improve attrition rate through system information that I do not currently have available would be great for a robust recruiting team.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using iCIMS Recruit for about five years in total. I used iCIMS Recruit previously at another job, and then about one year at my current position at Cortland.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I believe that its reliability and output are accurate. I have not run into any triggering errors with iCIMS Recruit. It is user-friendly and straightforward, and if I am well-versed in how to use it, I do not think I will run into too many errors unless it is human error.
What other advice do I have?
The advice that I would give to others using iCIMS Recruit is that it is an ATS system that works well for applicant tracking and workflow process in general. It is easy to navigate, and I think it is beneficial to have an ATS system that is easy to navigate through each workflow. I recommend it.
I found this interview to be straightforward with no recommendations at this time to change anything. I would rate this product an eight out of ten.
