Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

This contract offers three plan tiers: Essentials, Business, and Enterprise. Each tier is billed by units and steps up in document workflow capability. Essentials includes 2 units and covers document creation and signing. Business supports integrations and sending documents in bulk. Enterprise fits large companies with complex workflows. You can add the Salesforce Integration option to connect document workflows with a CRM. Additional usage lets you pay for units beyond what your plan includes. You pick a tier, then layer on the integration or extra usage as your needs grow.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A document counts when you deliver it to recipients for signature, approval, or review. This includes contracts, proposals, and forms. Drafts, templates, and documents shared only internally do not count. Each plan tier includes a set number of units, and usage is tracked in your dashboard.
When you reach your included units, you can keep sending documents through the Additional usage dimension. Extra usage is billed per document on your next cycle. Your account stays active and you retain access to existing documents. Unused units do not roll over between billing periods.
The Salesforce Integration is a separate add-on, not a plan tier. You pick a tier such as Essentials, Business, or Enterprise, then layer the integration on top to connect document workflows with your CRM. Both charges appear together on your invoice.

What do you like best about the product?
Creating, tracking, sending, and e-sign in one workflow has helped me so much. It helps save a lot of time with follow up emails, collecting signatures, and waiting for people to scan/email the forms back. Templates and content reuse reduced preparation time greatly, and the use of drop down menus and simple set ups saved a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything I have found that I dislike about the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saved me a lot of time on follow up emails and collecting signatures, and cut down the waiting for people to scan/email forms back. Preparation time was reduced greatly, and I frequently used document analytics to influence follow-up.

I haven’t used the full workflow or analytics. Integration APIs, compliance management, and workflow management haven’t worked for me.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface, both for the end-user and the backend. It's helpful having all the templates compiled in one place and tracking documents, who's viewed them, who's left to sign, and being able to edit a document completed in error. It allows us to route documents quickly and provides full transparency on document progress. The capability to automatically tabulate totals is a great feature, reducing time and error. The tracking component makes it easy to see the status of unsigned documents, identify bottlenecks, and send reminders to complete tasks, which is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a feature within PandaDoc that allows you to review agreements and ask questions with AI to determine if a contract language has any ambiguous language or needs clarification. I also wish PandaDoc charged a flat fee instead of a fee per document routed because during our initial testing, we didn't realize all those test transactions were counting towards our usage count. PandaDoc's AI feature for asking questions about documents needs improvement, as the information given is a bit convoluted. Additionally, PandaDoc's ability to edit a PDF document is cumbersome, unlike with Word documents which you can upload and edit. With PDFs, you can't make edits in a template like Adobe allows, which is an issue since we use PDF to preserve graphics that get distorted in Word.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PandaDoc streamlines routing internal documents, reducing operational costs and processing time. It offers full transparency in tracking, allowing easy editing of errors and minimizing mistakes with built-in functions like automatic tabulation. We can quickly identify process bottlenecks and send reminders, enhancing efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I need to have documents signed electronically, I need to stay on top of lagging contracts and I want all my documentation to look branded, specific and professional. The Canva integration was excellent and helpful. I found most of my interaction with the AI very impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Importing Word docs is hard since the formatting gets all nuts. I asked the AI specifically HOW to add a text field and it couldn't tell me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It fully replaced separate tools or steps for creating, sending, tracking, and e-signing documents in one workflow. Templates and content reuse reduced preparation time greatly.
