Miro - A Great Tool for Data Analysis

  • October 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Helps me organise my thoughts. The flexibility of being able to move everything around as you can physically is extremely helpful. The different shapes and colours makes it easier to categorise data and visualise it. It is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to get used to EITHER dragging around the map to see everything, or using the selection tool. I know there's a keyboard shortcut (V) to do this but it takes time to imbed in my muscle memory when to switch
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user's pain points with our system, and allowing us to plan and fix for the future. This is benefitting us because we are able to do our jobs efficiently and create a better platform that align with people's expectations & desires. Overall, the use of Miro will help us organise our thoughts when analysing our pain point data, and in turn, will help us to create a more user friendly system.

All-in-One Workspace, But Presentation Tools Need More Visual Polish

  • October 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to keep all your project work in one place, with everything live and updatable, is incredibly useful. Whether it's documents, spreadsheets, brainstorms, loose thoughts, or presentations, they all exist together in a single visual space. This makes it easy to continuously add and update content as your project evolves.
What do you dislike about the product?
The presentation tools are still lacking, as they don't offer enough control to add visual depth or polish. The options for visual styling are limited, meaning there isn't much flexibility to really refine the appearance of presentations or documents like you would in say Figma or Indesign
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I appreciate being able to track the progression of concepts as they develop over time. Having everything organized in one place, rather than scattered across various documents and confusing file structures, makes a big difference. The collaborative features are especially important for remote work, as they allow team members to review and brainstorm from anywhere. Since our team works remotely, bringing everyone together on this board is essential.

Effortless Collaboration, But Feature Overload

  • October 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration and how easy it is to introduce someone to Miro’s basic features. You don’t need to take extra time before a workshop to make sure everyone will be able to participate. Instead, a 5-10 min exercise is enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment I feel like there are too many new features in too little time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me means to make something simple and effective out of a chaos of brainstorming, analysing and idea-dropping.

Effortless Collaboration with Modern Design

  • October 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love Miro's clean and modern interface, which is incredibly easy to use and navigate. It really helps me visualize workflows and introduce ideas to clients effectively, allowing us to both edit and look at images collaboratively in real time. I also appreciate how effortlessly I could set it up without much additional learning, making the transition from my previous tool seamless. The ability to work in a visual interface that can be laid out in any direction, both horizontally and vertically without scrolling, is invaluable. Additionally, the linking and customization options between components are incredibly useful for my planning and workflow creations. Finally, the infinite whiteboard allows for a broad scope of creativity and flexibility in designing, and the idea of integrating more AI features to assist in laying out components is very promising.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to create and design my own components in Miro, allowing for more customization. Additionally, I think having more interactive features, such as clearly clickable buttons that respond visually when hovered over with a mouse, would enhance the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to layout visual workflows and concepts, allowing real-time client collaboration. Its clean interface and ease of use solve my needs, enhancing communication and planning efficiency.

Great tool for whiteboarding, planning and ideation

  • October 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
in my work, I manage everything from content calendars to social media campaigns, and Miro has become my primary visual workspace for all these activities. My favorite feature is the Bulk Sticky Notes—it’s ideal for fast-paced brainstorming. When we’re generating ideas for multiple clients, I can paste up to 50 taglines or caption ideas into Miro, and each one is instantly transformed into its own sticky note. This makes it simple for us to cluster, color-code, and develop campaign directions efficiently. I also depend on the Frames + Outline feature. I use it to structure client presentations, treating each frame as a separate "slide"—one for strategy, another for visuals, and another for content. The outline panel allows me to navigate the presentation just like a deck, which helps even our most chaotic brainstorming boards appear organized and professional during client reviews. These features together help us transform our brainstorming sessions from disorganized to structured and story-driven. It truly feels like having a design tool, whiteboard, and presentation software combined. The customer support is excellent as well, with AI-enabled assistance providing instant help whenever I need it. It’s straightforward to implement and makes collaboration easy. I use it every week for all our projects and client work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback I’ve noticed is when we export large boards as PDFs to share, the layout can occasionally shift a bit. While this isn’t a major issue, I do wish there were a “perfect export” option available in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our campaigns, Miro has addressed the biggest challenge: creative fragmentation. Previously, most of our strategy decks were stored in one location, mood boards in another, and copy was kept in a shared document. Now, miro lets me consolidate all these elements onto a single, dynamic board. This makes it much easier to brainstorm, visualize, and manage campaigns from the initial idea through to final delivery. Miro also enhances transparency—my bosses appreciate being able to watch our creative process unfold visually. Rather than sending countless drafts, we simply share the board, guide them through our workflow, and collect immediate feedback. This approach saves time and fosters trust. Additionally, Miro’s AI tools have been invaluable for clustering similar content ideas, summarizing brainstorming sessions, and quickly pinpointing key themes. It truly feels like having an assistant that transforms chaotic creative thoughts into clear, organized insights.

Smart Diagrams: The Secret Weapon for Clear, Visual Strategy Mapping

  • October 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
At my workplace, Miro has truly become the central hub for planning and executing our course content and marketing campaigns. I really appreciate how visual and collaborative the platform is. Rather than switching between slides, spreadsheets, and documents, I can organize every campaign on a single, unified canvas. The Frames + Outline feature has completely transformed my workflow—I use it to break down each course launch into stages such as awareness, nurture, and conversion. This allows me to present and move through each stage as if they were slides, which keeps the team focused on the next steps.

I also make extensive use of the Bulk Sticky Notes feature during brainstorming sessions. For instance, when I have dozens of content ideas for a new course funnel, I can paste them all at once, and Miro instantly converts them into colorful sticky notes. This not only saves time but also helps me visually organize ideas into different themes. I use color-coding to distinguish between "educational," "promotional," and "community" content, which makes team reviews much more efficient.

All in all, Miro has streamlined our content creation process and made it more creative. Everyone on the team, from copywriters to designers, can contribute ideas directly on the board, allowing us to immediately see how everything fits together. It’s collaboration at its best—no version control headaches, no cluttered folders, just a shared space that evolves with the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a board becomes large and filled with many images and stickies, it can occasionally slow down. While this isn’t a major issue, it can interrupt the workflow slightly. Additionally, newcomers might initially feel overwhelmed by the number of tools visible on the screen. However, once they understand how frames function, using the platform becomes much easier.

I also wish that exporting boards as PDFs would preserve the exact on-screen layout, as sometimes the arrangement shifts a little. Aside from these points, Miro has consistently met all my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me keep all my campaign ideas, notes, and visuals in one place instead of spread across different tools. It’s easier to see the full picture — what we’re planning, what’s done, and what’s next.

For content planning, I can brainstorm topics, plan posts, and build timelines without switching apps. My team can add feedback right on the board, so decisions happen faster. It’s made our work more organized and a lot less stressful.

I’ve also used Miro’s AI to summarize brainstorming notes and group similar ideas. It saves time after long team sessions and helps me see which ideas are worth developing.

Versatile Collaboration and Brainstorming Tool

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been really helpful for collaborating with remote teams at several companies I've worked at. I've run everything from retros to workshops in there and use it for collaborative process mapping, product roadmaps, project management timelines, brainstorming, icebreaker activities, and even for creating an initial curriculum outline for a new program I was building.

I like that it's quite flexible with the objects and formatting you can get into a given board, so it really does serve a variety of purposes. Some tools that are useful for team activities are the timer and stickies, plus the ability for asynchronous commenting.

I was also really happy when Miro started allowing the integration of embedded Docs and other assets (I remember when it first came out), so it's easy to keep or reference all of the documentation for a project in one place. That makes it a great place to collect a bunch of background research, which I do frequently as a product manager and executive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has been progressively improving some of the earlier issues I had when I first started using the tool, and they have a good pace of introducing new features.

If I had to list a downside, it'd be how heavy Miro is in the browser. It used to crash my older computer on a regular basis if I tried to run a video call at the same time. I've since upgraded, but I can still see it slowing things down on occasion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used it with both teams and clients as a source of truth for different business processes and documentation. Since it allows for collaboration and commenting, it's a good place to keep all of the relevant history, related initiatives, background research, etc. together, and it helps with introducing things like a roadmap to the team in a more interactive way (vs. something like a presentation). It's easier to modify than many other tools, so boards and assets can be kept up to date for everyone to reference.

It also makes async and remote collaboration better for teams that can't get together in person. It emulates in-person retro or brainstorming sessions so I can still get productive feedback from the teams I work with.
