Unmatched Creativity, But Collaboration Costs Add Up
What do you like best about the product?
Miro lets me think without constraints; it allows me to create anything I'm thinking and then translate it into something more tangible for different audiences. I've been using it since it was named Realtime board, and I can't stop using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing and collaborating with people outside the primary user group. Every time I try to run a dynamic with someone outside the product/tech team, I have to create an actual user and pay for their access, even though they won't use Miro anytime soon. So I end up wasting money to have everyone. Perhaps we could have more flexibility for single-shot use, or something similar. This way, I could invite the finance team one day and the CS team on another, and I wouldn't have to pay for an extra 10 seats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I helps me to brainstorm and put everything together before creating the actual plan, and also allows me to see the bigger picture, because everything is at the same place. With that I can work with more clarity and a better perspective.
Miro Makes Teamwork Visual, Fast, and some snags
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how intuitive and visually engaging the platform is. The ease of use is exceptional — even first-time users can jump right in and start collaborating without a steep learning curve. It’s incredibly helpful for brainstorming sessions, project planning, and remote workshops. The number of features — from templates to integrations with tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Workspace; makes it a one-stop hub for team collaboration. The ease of implementation and ease of integration mean teams can adopt it quickly and start seeing value right away. The customer support team is responsive and helpful, making setup and troubleshooting simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most helpful thing about Miro is its flexibility — it works equally well for agile ceremonies, design sprints, mind mapping, or strategic planning. The ability to visualize ideas in real time brings alignment across distributed teams. The frequency of use in my team is high because it truly improves communication and collaboration. Overall, the upsides are clarity, creativity, and better teamwork in one seamless digital workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of collaboration and alignment across distributed teams. Before using it, brainstorming, project planning, and workshop facilitation were difficult to coordinate in a remote or hybrid setup. With Miro, we can visualize ideas, map out workflows, and gather feedback in real time — all in one shared space. It eliminates endless back-and-forth emails and keeps everyone engaged and aligned.
Endless Flexibility and AI Power. Requires Internal Team Coordination
What do you like best about the product?
Endless field to stack different thoughts, team collaborations, ease of creating in different formats, flexibility. And the new ai options have opened a whole new worlds of possibilities taking it to a different level all together.
What do you dislike about the product?
The challenge is to keep up with all inputs from different members of the team. The endless flexibility has an inherent challenge of how to create a solid base to build upon when different people login and work independently and add on new ideas that later need to be incorporated into the big picture. The formatting too can be challenging, requires a good coordination and internal “miró rules”

What do you dislike about the product?

Amazing tool to visually work real-time with people in many different countries
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can draw, annotate and work real-time with colleagues and friends from all over the world has been SUCH an amazing addition to both my work and student time through the years. We use it for everything! For classes, for competitions, for every-day work. It makes collaboration so easy when you work in a global setting where you're likely to share projects with people in many different countries.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue I've encountered through the years is the fact that as a project develops, the board becomes heavier and heavier. This is mostly due to the fact that we work a lot with images and sketching -- two very heavy elements. I would love to see some sort of fix on this like say 'display settings' on images to make them display low res like in InDesign, or maybe turning our drawing lines into whichever format is less heavy than current lines are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to work with teammates who do not live in the same country in real time. Being able to sketch, write and share images on a shared platform, see all their activities, and work as a team as if we're sitting right next to each other working on the same desk.
Perfect for Collaborative Creativity and Workshops
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool for group-based creative work and workshops, as well as diagraming (whether user journeys or technical diagrams).
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little feedback -- AI tools are not quite there yet, but as expected given this isn't the core.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helpful to have a platform that supports easily creating and collaborating on visual concepts. Aids more productive collaboration and working through concepts that are difficult or impractical to address in text / voice format.
Exceptional Tool for Strategy and Client Engagement
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates that Miro offers, which serve as an educational tool for me. They are well-structured, allowing me to learn how to do new things effectively. I find the sticky notes feature extremely beneficial, especially during brainstorming sessions with clients over Zoom. It makes the process much more productive. Additionally, I'm always on the lookout for new ideas from the community, particularly through templates and Miroverse. I appreciate how easy and straightforward it was to set up Miro initially, despite the initial learning curve with the navigation controls. Using Miro has been an asset as it is a tool I'm proud to present to clients and my team. Being a paid user for over three years, I am pleased with the value it offers. Overall, I rate it a definite 10 out of 10 and recommend it to everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the AI capabilities in Miro are lacking. I would like to have more AI integrated into Miro, such as an AI agent that could create a Miro board with specified sticky notes and tables automatically. This feature is not currently available, which limits efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro as an educational tool with structured templates, enhancing my learning. It also boosts productivity during client brainstorming by organizing ideas quickly with boards and sticky notes.
Miro makes collaboration easy and visual for remote teams
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has become an essential collaboration tool for our team at Mole Street. It’s incredibly intuitive and makes brainstorming, planning, and mapping out workflows seamless, especially for remote and hybrid teams. We use it for client discovery sessions, internal process planning, and visualizing project timelines. The templates, sticky notes, and real-time collaboration features make meetings so much more engaging and productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a slight learning curve for new users, especially when it comes to permissions and managing large boards. Occasionally, larger boards can lag depending on the browser, but overall it doesn’t impact productivity much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps bridge the gap between remote and in-person collaboration at Mole Street. Our teams use it to visualize strategies, plan projects, and align across departments in real time. It’s especially helpful for client workshops and creative brainstorming since everyone can contribute ideas simultaneously, no matter where they are. Having one central visual space keeps projects organized and reduces back-and-forth communication, making meetings more efficient and productive.
Easy Setup, Essential for Large Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro is faster and easier to use than the platform we previously used, Concept Board. Setting it up was really easy, and it's great that Miro provides effective ways to migrate from other services. I appreciate how Miro allows our team to present home pricing effectively to home sellers across the country, which is crucial for our large team that relies heavily on it. The ability to use a lot of CMAs and different pricing presentations on Miro boards helps us get our point across effectively and capture more business. I find embedding sites and placing custom PDFs on the board to be especially useful features. Furthermore, the integration with Google Sheets enhances our workflow. Overall, Miro significantly improves our team’s efficiency in presenting and managing tasks, prompting us to fully recommend it to all our team members who join us.
What do you dislike about the product?
none
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro enhances presentations to home sellers nationwide, helping my team use CMAs effectively to capture more business.
Flexible and User-Friendly for Design, but Shape Tool Snap Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and open-endedness of Miro is very conducive to applications in the design field. It is a nice balance between simplicity and user-friendly interface with robust performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have about Miro is the shape tool. It would be great if the snap feature was not so strong, or could be disabled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is providing a real-time collaborative digital space. It allows me to work quickly and naturally with teammates who I do not share an office with.
