Innovative and User-Focused, But Pricing Pushes Us Away

What do you like best about the product?
It's by far the best tool of its kind (powerful + easy to use) + stays aggressive on innovation, i.e., new features + capabilities; I feel Miro knows its customer very well
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model; my co moved us from Miro to Lucid to reduce costs; we all hate Lucid but have no influence to change; $ rules

Real-Time Collaboration and Versatile Templates

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate in real time is truly the main reason my team and I rely on Miro. As the coordinator of an internal design team that supports both internal and external clients, I find that Miro offers a unique space where everyone can work together, no matter their area of expertise—whether they're developers, data analysts, payroll executives, or support consultants. On top of that, the Miroverse library has proven invaluable whenever we face unfamiliar challenges. Its extensive and varied selection of templates gives us a solid starting point and clear direction for shaping the processes needed to tackle new projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
When managing a project with more than 100 frames, I notice that Miro tends to slow down and sometimes even freeze. Similarly, handling multiple elements and boards can make it challenging to orient yourself or locate your workspace within the current Frames function. If it were possible to group several frames together to represent different sections of a project, navigating through the board would be much more straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a work-from-home company with teams spread across various regions of México, we used to find it challenging to collaborate in real time and make tangible progress on our projects. Since adopting Miro, we have overcome the barrier of distance and in-session progress, allowing us to work together seamlessly. Miro provides a shared space where everyone can contribute their expertise without needing to learn complex, specialized tools. Its low learning curve means that virtually anyone in our company can use it, making Miro an essential tool for our daily operations.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Miro provides an incredibly straightforward and efficient setup process. It took me less than a minute to get started by just signing in with my Google account. I love the intuitive flowchart tools available in Miro, which have been instrumental for me in creating comprehensive visual flowcharts effortlessly for my new company's product flow. It's the easiest tool I've come across for this sort of task, enabling me to outline step-by-step processes clearly. Additionally, the ability to integrate Miro with Azure DevOps helps in aligning our tech roadmap seamlessly. I find the software simple to navigate, which makes designing flowcharts and diagrams a pleasant experience. The ease of use and the capability to build intricate visuals without much hassle are substantial reasons why I would choose Miro again. Overall, I am highly satisfied with Miro’s performance and capabilities, rating my likelihood to recommend it at a solid ten.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a thing, so far, I dislike about Miro
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me visually build flowcharts easily for my new company's product processes, being the most user-friendly tool for creating such diagrams.

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for its ease of use and how user friendly it is. I use it all the time and to be able to find tools and formats quickly is very important for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it lags in loading things. But honeslty have no dislikes as far as platform wise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of being able for my whole team to collaborate in one space and not have to use multiple tools to be able to get projects done on time and efficiently. It benefits me by not having to have different platforms to stay organized. I also do a lot of customer journey mapping which having Miro is so useful in being able to get things layed out and in a visually appealing way.

Miro Supercharges Collaboration, Though Large Boards Can Lag

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it simple for everyone to brainstorm and collaborate, even when we're not physically together. Its visual layout is ideal for mapping out processes, projects, or ideas, giving the impression of a limitless digital whiteboard. I appreciate how easily we can rearrange elements, add notes, or develop a complete workflow without any design expertise. It keeps meetings engaging and allows ideas to develop more quickly than when we rely on slides or documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Miro can become somewhat sluggish when working on a large board or when many people are editing simultaneously, leading to occasional slowdowns or lag. Additionally, new users might need some time to get accustomed to the interface, as the abundance of features and tools can be overwhelming at first. Managing several boards can also be challenging, and the layout may appear disorganized if users do not follow a consistent structure. Despite these minor drawbacks, they are outweighed by the overall usefulness of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro to plan our Pinpoint orientation switchover, and it has been incredibly helpful for keeping everything organized. With Miro, we can visually map out each step, monitor our progress, and make real-time adjustments as circumstances change. Previously, it was challenging to keep all the moving parts coordinated across different departments, especially when several people were working simultaneously on timelines, forms, and training materials.

Now, everyone can view the entire process on a single board, leave comments, and provide updates without the need for endless emails or meetings. This has made planning the rollout much more transparent and has helped us identify any gaps or overlaps before they turn into issues.

Best Digital Whiteboard for Design Work, Research and Collaborative Projects

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is the best functioning digital whiteboard I have used, because it deals with many media types and formats, and allows you to arrange content with ease, unlike traditional desktop editors. The lack of a set page size makes large research projects with mind maps really easy, and the diagram snapping works much better than other programs I have used. Collaboration works seamlessly for team design work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting everything into assets that can be put into desktop programs can be a challenge. Copying images from miro can affect the quality, and frames have to be used if you don't want the grey background in your exported designs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a freeform editor where items can be scaled and moved around easily, without having to delve into layers or worry about smart objects. I use it for collecting reseach resources and mindmapping, which can then easily be refined to create a final product.

Quick to Learn, Versatile, and Covers All My Needs

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's quick and easy to start using - a few fundamental controls allow me to do 80%+ of what I need to do, and the other 20% just take a few mins to learn on your first few times using. It's also very versatile and adaptable to my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other than just needing to take a few mins to learn some of the more complex functionality (as you need to do with any software), I see no real downside to using Miro when compared with using other similar tools. It has everything I need to do what I need to do
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being in Revenue operations, I need to make sure tools are connected & mapped appropriately and that those connections are documented. Additionally, I need to lay things out visually sometimes before I ever execute on them, and Miro helps me do that as well with the flowcharts, where I can break down conditional steps.
