A great tool for Creatives (if you're willing to build your own templates a bit.)

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of being able to mind-map live with a group or by myself, without having to worry about space as a constraint—being able to (somewhat) infinitely zoom in or out is really freeing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user/board limits for free accounts are pretty strict. Also I don't find the pre-made templates that useful for my line of work, they seem more oriented to product development rather than creative ideating. A few more templates for creatives, live client workshops, etc. would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The infinite scroll helps free up my thinking and makes it easier to brainstorm with a group. I've used Miro to organize my own thoughts, to brainstorm "live" with colleagues, and to work with clients and colleagues together as a workshop tool.

Great Collaboration and Sticky Notes, But Sharing Could Be Easier

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to collaborate, along with the sticky notes feature, makes it easy to use for all types of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
That sharing boards is slightly difficult to do, it's not as straightforward to find. Additionally, finding things such as icons is also a hassle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helps our teams collaborate more with designs, allowing everyone to include their input

A Versatile Collaboration Tool with Room to Grow

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is fairly intuitive and user-friendly which makes collaboration a lot easier especially in group settings. I really like how easy it is to share boards with others and work together in real time. The wide range of templates is a huge plus, particularly for UX/UI work and the AI bot helper is a good feature to make a headstart a bit quicker, definitely great for quickly organizing diagrams and streamlining mindmapping sessions. I use Miro extensively for project planning and it’s convenient to have everything centralized in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
While the AI bot is helpful, it still has room for improvement, especially in fine-tuning diagrams to meet specific needs. I’ve also noticed that the template library leans heavily toward certain industries with limited options for data engineering use cases. Another drawback is the lack of integration with Excel. Being able to sync data between Excel and Miro would significantly enhance workflow efficiency, especially when working with tables and datasets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a data engineer, Miro helps me visualize system architecture and organize ideas during brainstorming sessions. It’s particularly useful for mapping out data models and workflows in a collaborative environment. Having a visual space to structure complex concepts makes it easier to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, it's really made a difference

Miro executes intuitively and effecitvely

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simultaneous virtual team collaboration. Having the ability to output to PPT and PDF formats quickly from setting up frames. A host of intuitive controls, along with copy/paste functionality as well as the ability to store and view PDFs and word documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reorganizing the PPT frame order is a bit of a task. Missing some functions on text box, instead of working like a box with text. (The ability to change color background and borders only exists with the shapes and not the text feature itself). The templates tend to be very complicated...a simple SWOT analysis setup doesn't really exist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I host listening sessions for design charrettes for my design team to be able to capture information. We then as a design team collaborate, digest, and analyze the information stored on Miro. We do this process in Miro as well, so that the process can be followed and that output can easily be generated. PPTs, PDFs for reports are very quick if the Miro board is set up properly.

Enhances Team Coordination with Easy Setup, Needs Better Copy-Paste

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for its premade colorful templates, which give a nice start to my ideas, making the planning process more engaging and visually appealing. Its smooth simultaneous work feature is fantastic for facilitating better team coordination, especially during our weekly standup and biweekly meetings. This feature significantly enhances the experience of remote working by allowing everyone to collaborate seamlessly in real-time. Furthermore, Miro is incredibly easy to use, which simplifies the organization of our team's work and ensures that everything is kept in one place. The cloud-based nature of the tool reduces maintenance worries and increases accessibility, making it a low-maintenance and invaluable tool for our team. The initial setup was also very easy, which I find crucial as it made the transition simple and straightforward for the entire team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The copy-paste feature in Miro doesn't work well, as it sometimes misses division lines and certain elements don't copy correctly, such as boxes or lines. This impacts the accuracy and efficiency of replicating meeting boards or templates. Additionally, moving the board is quite slow, which can hinder productivity. Furthermore, the limitation of only three freely available boards is a restriction, especially if more are needed for varied projects or extended collaborations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro saves time by organizing team work and improving remote collaboration. It efficiently centralizes our weekly planning and coordination tasks, offering a low-maintenance cloud solution that enhances team productivity.

Various tools and easy to use, but limited export in the free version

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, number of tools at my disposal, usable on all my devices, shareable, exportable, I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too few shapes to draw in the free version, exporting diagrams in pdf/image format limits the quality too much in the free version, it's a shame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's all in one, I have a huge whiteboard on which I can put all my work information, I can also jot down ideas, take meeting notes, and prepare a diagram or chart that I can then export. It would be perfect if the free version didn't limit the quality of the exports.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
