Transforms Collaboration and Planning, Needs Excel Compatibility

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro's collaborative nature which significantly aids in teamwork, allowing project managers and teams to efficiently carry out scrum-related activities. The platform's intuitive interface makes it incredibly easy to navigate and use its vast array of features, including an extensive template library that simplifies tasks such as brainstorming sessions, customer journey mapping, and sprint planning. The seamless integration with Jira stands out as a key strength, enabling my team to link tasks and execute strategic planning and granular task management reliably. Miro's ability to bring diverse teams together in real time for co-creation, brainstorming, and planning boosts our interactivity and makes the planning process more enjoyable and efficient. Its AI capabilities, combined with robust integration options, enhance team innovation and execution effectiveness, making it a powerhouse for driving productivity and creativity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Miro table functionality inadequate, especially in comparison to Excel. The lack of compatibility with Excel's capabilities, such as cell merging, makes it difficult to work with tables in Miro. When I copy-paste tables from Excel to Miro, the merged cells become unmerged, which complicates navigation and collaborative work. Improving Miro's spreadsheet compatibility with Excel would greatly enhance the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro enhances team collaboration and planning, integrating seamlessly with Jira for efficient task management and reducing setup time while making sessions more interactive and engaging.

Intuitive for Team Collaboration, Templates Need Improvement

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro's intuitive interface, which makes it easy to use and facilitates seamless collaboration during team brainstorming sessions. Over the five to six years that I have been using Miro, I have found it to effectively structure complex information like solution architecture and process flows. The ease with which people can log in without needing a specific login ID or Miro account greatly simplifies collaborative work sessions. This is particularly valuable as it allows multiple people to contribute inputs in real time. I primarily use Miro for standard shapes and boards, employing sticky notes for brainstorming sessions, and I find these core capabilities very effective. Additionally, the transition from another vendor to Miro was smooth due to its strong functionality, making Miro a go-to tool as many of my colleagues are also using it. Creating content from scratch with Miro is a flexible and straightforward experience, which contributes significantly to its usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't really love the inbuilt templates in Miro and found them a little bit difficult and awkward to use. They often seemed overly complex and inflexible when I first started using them. I think a lot of the templates would benefit from being simplified and more standardized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro effectively structures complex information, like solution architecture and process flows, while facilitating collaborative team brainstorming. It's user-friendly, intuitive, and simplifies collaboration without requiring login credentials for participants.

Fantastic Collaboration and Templates, But Free Plan Is Limiting

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The templates, the ease of use, and the collaborative aspect of the tool as a whole.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the free plan only provides you with 3 free boards. I wish the pricing was a bit more accessible for startups/small teams just starting out because I do love Miro a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a very visual person so Miro is great for plotting all of my thoughts in one spot and getting alignment with others on my team. I especially love the templates... LOVE the templates.

Empowers Team Collaboration and Idea Sharing

  • November 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Miro facilitates team collaboration through its diverse features. The ability to share and connect different ideas among team members is invaluable. I find Miro's tools like the timer, voting, and document handling incredibly helpful for our workflow. These features enhance our sessions, especially when we are prioritizing and designing what tasks to focus on. I also discovered and have been enjoying the slides function, which adds to the dynamic ways we can present and organize information. It's great to see new features regularly being added, keeping the tool fresh and more useful. Another aspect I like about Miro is how it offers more features compared to other tools like FigJam, allowing more interaction with coworkers and a richer collaborative experience for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I initially experienced some confusion with the setup due to the permissions and structure in Miro. It took a while for me to understand which files I should edit, and what permissions I had. Additionally, I was accustomed to the order and organization found in other tools like Figma, which made it a bit complicated to navigate through Miro at first. This issue related to finding my way around hindered my ability to seamlessly integrate with its system compared to my previous experiences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro enhances team collaboration by allowing us to connect and share diverse ideas. Its tools, like timers, docs, and voting, streamline our planning and iteration processes, boosting productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
the creative freedom and ability to treat the platform like a live notebook or desk workstation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that some of the templates offered larger page formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is creating a digital format of an information dumping board, that allows me to check back and add to through different stages of a project.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly self-explanatory, which has made it a great tool for tracking the various changes our company is undergoing as we transition to an Agile organization. It's been immensely helpful over the past two months in documenting and illustrating our Agile journey, providing a single source of information that everyone on the team can refer to for tracking progress. I find the voting feature using various icons quite beneficial for ensuring team comprehension of new concepts, and I appreciate the screen-sharing capability, which allows us to follow presentations seamlessly and keeps everyone engaged. I like the ability to use team comments as a whiteboard component, which enhances collaboration and idea-sharing among team members. These features collectively make Miro a powerful tool for project tracking and team collaboration, encouraging me to expand its use across more projects and potentially in my personal life.

Ease of use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to track organizational changes, build a cohesive narrative for our Agile transformation, and as a centralized reference for team progress, enhanced by voting icons and screen-sharing capabilities.
