The Ultimate Tool for Interactive Teaching
What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its versatile use as a digital whiteboard, which has been integral in my role as a teacher for over three years. The ability to share boards with students makes lessons more accessible and facilitates both study and review, creating an engaging interactive board experience. I am particularly impressed with its feature allowing the creation and integration of diagrams with both pens and highlighters, whether using a tablet or a digital board. The clarity of the diagrams is outstanding, and the ability to integrate them with images and web links is invaluable, enabling me to create complete, rich lessons. The ease with which I can build diagrams on grammar topics, connect them with textual examples, include illustrative images, and add web links for further exploration is exceptional. Furthermore, I appreciate the smooth functionality of Miro compared to other products like Figma and Canva. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and obtaining the education profile required almost no effort. Lastly, the overall experience leaves me so satisfied that I would rate Miro a strong 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think a good addition might be the possibility of building boards with more pages (as a sort of stack), to be able to keep the boards of the same topic or of the same class together, and share only one link to give access to all of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to make lessons more accessible by sharing boards, integrating diagrams with images and links, and creating interactive lessons that facilitate study and review.
Infinite Sheet, But Improvable on Tablets
What do you like best about the product?
I like the infinite canvas feature in Miro, which allows me to explore and develop ideas without spatial limitations, similar to a blank canvas. This feature is especially useful for capturing and organizing my ideas, as I often have many new ideas daily. The transition that Miro offers, from working on paper to a digital environment, has been significant for me. This has simplified my workflow, allowing me to move from scattered notes in notebooks to a unified platform where I can effectively visualize my proposals and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the adaptation of Miro's interface to different screens is not optimal, especially when I use it on a tablet. This becomes frustrating when trying to work in full screen along with the AI assistant and workflow generation, which makes it difficult to iterate ideas. Additionally, I think that the initial setup of Miro is not user-friendly for new users.

Additionally, Miro significantly enhances team collaboration by serving as a single source of truth for different teams and individuals, enabling seamless online access from anywhere, which is crucial for our distributed teamwork. The user experience is also noteworthy and contributes to the ease with which I can navigate and utilize the platform. I find the templates particularly useful in my daily tasks, as they save time and streamline the process of setting up product-based projects. Furthermore, the comments feature is invaluable, facilitating effective communication and feedback within the team. Setting up Miro was incredibly easy, especially with my company's domain, which speaks volumes about its user-friendly design. Overall, Miro is a tool that I not just use but enjoy, contributing positively to my workflow and productivity.

I dislike the quality of PDF exports in Miro, especially when dealing with large canvases. It becomes problematic as I can't read the information clearly due to sizes appearing too small or pixelated.

I love Miro for its extensive range of community templates, which provide a diverse selection to suit various project needs. These templates, along with the variety of features and preloaded frameworks, make Miro incredibly versatile and useful in streamlining ideas into visuals for easy comprehension. The preloaded frameworks are particularly valuable for facilitating comprehensive communication on a peer-to-peer level, as they can be seamlessly integrated into presentations or shared independently as diagrams. This ease of sharing enhances collaborative efforts greatly. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro was remarkably easy, allowing me to dive into using its features without any hassle. The combination of these elements makes Miro a powerful tool for conveying complex information efficiently and effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that certain team features are locked because we don't have a premium subscription. This limitation can be frustrating, especially when I need to use team features that could enhance collaboration but are inaccessible without a premium plan. Another issue is that sharing can sometimes be difficult. The constraints of the basic subscription, especially the limitation of having only three boards, can hinder the independent sharing of ideas. It would be beneficial if the free version allowed at least five or six boards to facilitate better idea sharing.

I use Miro to translate scattered thoughts into visuals, making it easier to understand complex issues. Its templates and features aid peer communication and presentation sharing.
Effortless Team Collaboration and Idea Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy for collaboration for team activity. Also as a software developer, I can design my software architecture and jot down my ideas in the Mire board and also share it with my colleagues. It is also useful for team activity when multiple team members can view and update. It use it almost for my daily work. It is very customer friendly and has a good UI. It is useful to present our creative and innovative work and also for brainstorming. we really find it helpful during remote work/hybrid work settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will be good to have easier versioning with the Miro board as the current way is not so easy to use.Also we see it freezes or hangs some times. Also when more boards are added it becomes a bit decluttered or disorganized.

I really appreciate the customization capabilities that Miro offers. It not only provides various templates that are useful for instructional design, such as the blueprint design template, but also allows us to create our own templates tailored to specific needs, like workshops for a cohort of students. This flexibility is essential for our educational and activity planning purposes, enabling us to offer personalized and interactive learning experiences. Moreover, the customization features make it easy for us to adjust the templates by adding or modifying words and images to fit our unique requirements. This adaptability elevates the quality and relevance of the courses and activities we design and conduct, ensuring that they meet the specific goals of our programs and the learning objectives of our participants. Overall, Miro’s ability to be tailored to our educational context significantly enhances our workflow and effectiveness.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm frustrated with the difficulty in sharing Miro boards, particularly when it comes to embedding them into LMS platforms like Moodle or Blackboard. Currently, the share features require users to create new accounts, which complicates the process and limits direct access. This is cumbersome and obstructs seamless collaboration. A more streamlined sharing feature, such as a simple link access that doesn't necessitate creating a new account, would greatly enhance ease of use. Additionally, the current inability to embed Miro directly into LMS platforms results in a fragmented experience, as we have to switch between Miro and other tools like Paddle to conduct peer activities. This lack of direct integration hinders our ability to use Miro more extensively.

User-Friendly Layout and Tools Make Sharing Ideas Easier
What do you like best about the product?
The layout, organization and tools are really user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited help for templates, some features I like are incomplete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was hoping Miro would solve more problems for fleshing out software development processes. It is way better than Balsamiq, but still doesn't offer functionality that I would like, so I still feel limited in what I can do.
Flexibility that facilitates collaborative thinking
What do you like best about the product?
This is excellent for collaborating on photos and mindmaps. Unlike tools such as Notion, which impose a strict structure that can restrict creative thinking, this allows for more flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of using a freeform board is that it can become cluttered quite fast. For someone new joining the board, this can be confusing and overwhelming. I think it would be helpful to have a feature similar to Figma's auto-layout, which would help balance flexibility with some structure. Additionally, the experience of working with tables could use improvement. At the moment, it's too easy to accidentally disrupt a table when trying to add more sticky notes or images to a specific cell.

Ensuring alignment across different squads is important to me. I also focus on bringing all the pieces together to understand how they fit into the bigger picture.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the speed and collaborative capabilities of Miro. It's an incredibly visual tool that facilitates the rapid exchange of ideas, whether it's for sharing character references, showing poses, or exchanging comments almost instantly. The near-infinite zoom is a highly appreciated feature, and the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) are almost perfect. The integration of YouTube videos and GIFs further enhances its versatility. Moreover, the use of simple commands like copy-paste (ctrl c ctrl v) makes Miro natural and convenient to use, which is essential for animators who need to operate quickly. Thanks to all these qualities, I consider that adopting Miro in our project from the start has been extremely beneficial and I am very inclined to recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro could improve its way of displaying and compressing videos. Additionally, the ability to have a frame-by-frame review and annotations directly on the videos would be a great asset.

I use Miro to exchange ideas quickly, collaborate visually, and give instant feedback. It is fast, convenient, and facilitates team collaboration, which greatly helps in the animation process.

Miro’s AI-powered prototyping tool is a solid option for quickly turning ideas into interactive, low-fidelity prototypes. As a Business Analyst, I found it surprisingly effective — the AI interpreted my text descriptions well, creating a basic but accurate user flow that matched my intent. While the visual designs were fairly simple, the tool excelled at capturing flow logic and screen transitions, which made it perfect for early requirement validation.
It’s not a replacement for high-fidelity tools like Figma or Adobe XD, but it’s great for kickstarting discussions and aligning teams early in the design process. It also saved time explaining flows to the designer who later refined the visuals.
