Essential for Team Collaboration and Planning
What do you like best about the product?
We use Miro when doing team planning, and I find the tool very useful. It's easy to collaborate and share the information with other remote colleagues, and the tools it provides make the experience very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be the perfect tool with more fine-grained design components and tools. Currently we use Figma for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very easy to share ideas using notes, and perform planning and brainstorming sessions that are actually useful.

It’s the simplest and most user-friendly application for brainstorming.

I think one of its weaknesses is the lack of a good option for proportionality and folders.

I love Miro's unlimited space and its inbuilt features which make flowchart creation incredibly easy. The tool's straightforward and user-friendly interface stands out, making it a breeze to understand and use, which is crucial for getting my team to stick to using it effectively. As a Product Owner, I've found that Miro efficiently organizes my workflow, particularly for documentation purposes, where it brings everything into one place seamlessly. Additionally, the ease of accessing files once we receive access enhances our workflow, making the initial setup quite straightforward. These aspects collectively make my office tasks more manageable, and I appreciate how it aids in keeping everything organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that Miro could improve by incorporating more advanced picture editing features. This enhancement would improve the tool's usefulness for basic editing tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for easy flowchart creation, documentation, and presentations with unlimited space and simplicity, which make work organization straightforward and collaborative for my team.

I really like that Miro is not at all complicated to use. I especially value the notes, as they help to keep things organized in the best possible way, which is very useful for school activities like organizing information, rating websites, and making recommendations. Additionally, I found that the initial setup was very easy, which allowed me to start using the software without complications. Finally, I give Miro a 10 in terms of recommendation, as I find it to be a highly recommendable tool for friends or colleagues.

The only thing I dislike about Miro are the little arrows that sometimes appear.

Being able to effectively share content for discovery workshops is a big advantage, as it brings together the product team to create robust and insightful outputs. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro was super easy, making the onboarding process simple and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the filing structure of Miro not particularly intuitive, especially when using it extensively. It becomes challenging to organize and retrieve documents. Additionally, the search functionality on boards is lacking. It should be capable of locating items based on specific keywords without being hidden behind a paywall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for collaborative teamwork, achieving clear process visualization, and transitioning product ideation to specification effortlessly. It helps bring together meaningful content for discovery workshops, enabling effective collaboration before and after workshops.

I particularly appreciate Miro's real-time collaboration feature, which allows for the effortless addition of diverse content like links, videos, and PDFs directly into the boards. Inviting clients as guests or visitors is another fantastic feature, seamlessly integrating them into the process without compromising on security or requiring additional tools. This eliminates client access barriers and helps them feel part of the team, making collaboration smooth even with varied industry compliance needs. Setting up Miro was incredibly straightforward due to its compatibility with our Google office environment, simplifying login with SSO. Ultimately, these features collectively make Miro an invaluable tool that I highly recommend.

I find the spreadsheet integration with Miro unsatisfactory. Currently, I paste tables into Miro, but the data isn't visually represented in a way that utilizes the platform's strengths. I wish Miro could interpret spreadsheet data and convert it into more intuitive, visually engaging elements like post-its. Moreover, the playback function could be enhanced. I often present frames from a board, and it would be beneficial if Miro could record these presentations and store them within the board, offering a 'walkthrough' feature. Currently, I have to record presentations using other tools like Google and then upload the video back to Miro, which is cumbersome.
