Great for University Projects but Needs Easier Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro to be an incredibly useful tool for coordinating university projects. Its online platform enables seamless collaboration with my classmates regardless of where we are, solving the common issue of working across different schedules. I particularly enjoy the vast array of pre-built templates Miro offers, which provide ready-to-use structures that are beneficial for academic purposes and mirror industry standards. These templates significantly streamline the collaborative process by allowing us to jump into project work without having to create frameworks from scratch. Additionally, I appreciate how easy it was to set up Miro; creating an account and sharing access with others posed no problems at all.

Collaborative and User-Friendly, Needs More Export Options
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro's intuitive user interface, which facilitates ease of use and enhances my overall user experience. The ability to add icons and shapes for common platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP is incredibly useful, particularly for creating architecture diagrams and journey mapping. I also find the collaborative capabilities of Miro exceptional, allowing us to work seamlessly as a team, knowing who is working on what and where changes are happening. The export capabilities, although I wish there were more format options, currently offer value by helping us showcase things better. Moreover, I enjoy using the templates that Miro provides, as they are instrumental in streamlining my workflow. The transition from PowerPoint, draw.io, and Visio to Miro was straightforward due to its user-friendly nature, and starting with the free plan before moving to a paid one made the initial setup process fairly simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the current export capabilities in Miro limiting, as it allows exports only in jpg and pdf formats. Having the ability to export in more formats would be beneficial. Additionally, there is a need for more templates and design elements to enhance our workflow. Currently, Miro lacks integration with other tools that cater to my needs, which is a limitation for our workflow as we explore collaborative working options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a single platform for architecture diagrams, journey mapping, and collaborative brainstorming, enhancing user experience and ease of use. It supports workflow with export capabilities, suitable templates, and real-time collaboration visibility.
