Intuitive, Feature-Rich, and Community-Driven

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro makes tracking tasks so much easier with its intuitive and fluid method. Despite having many alternatives, Miro's fluidity stands out as exceptional. I appreciate that Miro comes equipped with almost everything needed from the beginning, and it has now become a comprehensive tool. The best part about Miro is how the team behind it listens to community feedback and implements requested features, which is incredible. I once suggested specific text formatting features for task cards, and to my amazement, Miro implemented them. This responsiveness to user feedback makes the tool valuable for my work. Miro feels like a simple whiteboard but is heavily geared with fantastic features and incredible collaboration capabilities with other tech. The initial setup was incredibly easy for my team. I use Miro alongside Adobe Express and Notion, which work well together. I am so satisfied with Miro that I even mentioned I would be content living with just Miro and a couple of design tools, indicating my high level of satisfaction. I also appreciate how it continues to grow without compromise on its original simplicity and ease of use. Furthermore, I am likely to recommend Miro to friends or colleagues; I would rate it a 10 out of 10 in terms of recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the idea of Miro evolving into something entirely different from its current form. The potential shift from a simple whiteboard, despite its excellent and comprehensive features, concerns me as I appreciate its present functionality and integrations within the tech ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro helps us track tasks easily and its intuitive interface surpasses alternatives, with unique fluidity. The team's responsiveness to feedback enhances its value, exemplified by the quick implementation of text formatting features.

The tool is incredibly easy to use, whether I am utilizing a pre-built template or designing something entirely from scratch. Its simplicity makes it seamless for new team members to get up to speed quickly, enhancing our overall communication and collaboration. The platform's intuitive nature has been particularly beneficial; it allows not just me but also my offshore developers and new internal team members to integrate into our processes effortlessly. This ease of use leads to improved workflows and insightful productivity which have helped us address internal challenges and leverage opportunities more effectively. Additionally, Miro's capacity to support collaboration by allowing team members to contribute different insights and ideas on shared boards greatly adds to its value when engineering or reengineering processes. As a consultant, the product's reliability and the satisfaction it brings to those I recommend it to further illustrate why I am a big fan and consistently advocate for its use.

I think that sometimes the design tools can be slightly limiting. It would be great to have more colors and shape options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro makes group collaboration incredibly manageable for my Masters of Architecture degree projects, especially when in-person meetings aren't feasible. It provides the flexibility to work at home or university at any time, which is a huge convenience as deadlines approach. The intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface means I don't need to spend time explaining it to others; it's straightforward for everyone to use right from the start. I'm particularly fond of the drag-and-drop functionality, which allows us to quickly share work and provide feedback seamlessly. The ability to paste almost anything into Miro’s board space is incredibly useful, enhancing our collaborative efforts effortlessly. The initial setup was very quick and hassle-free, with no issues at all. I fully recommend Miro to friends and colleagues, giving it a perfect score of 10 for its practicality and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, after typing in a text box, my mouse changes to a hand, and the text box becomes immovable. To resolve this, I either have to refresh my web browser or keep clicking different parts until it works again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro provides flexibility to collaborate remotely, especially close to deadlines. It's intuitive, requires no explanation, and aids in quick sharing and feedback with its drag-and-drop feature.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the intuitive UI of Miro, which welcomes users with varying levels of experience, even those not particularly accustomed to an 'infinite canvas' environment. This ease of use makes Miro a popular choice across many companies. I appreciate the easy export to PDF feature, which is incredibly helpful for sharing documents with customers or integrating them into PowerPoint presentations effortlessly. The workshop features stand out to me, especially the timer, music, and authorship tags, allowing me to manage and facilitate sessions without leaving the platform, seamlessly integrating them into my workflow. The variety of shapes, plug-ins, and the flexibility in formatting text were major factors that swayed me to choose Miro over other products like Figjam. Overall, the initial setup was easy, and I find the overall flexibility it provides truly valuable for my project management and team ideation needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the table features in Miro lacking, particularly the inability to sort tables alphabetically or by status. This limitation makes it challenging to organize data efficiently, which impacts my workflow negatively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for project management and team collaboration. It solves issues with project organization and facilitates seamless collaboration. The intuitive UI and easy PDF export enhance sharing and integration, while workshop features allow in-app facilitation, making workflows efficient.

Essential for Visual Communication, Needs Text Flexibility

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly valuable for effectively communicating with my development team and external developers. It alleviates roadblocks in communication by providing a very clear visual flow of our designs and the functionalities developers need to create. I love that I can attach little notes around the designs, clarifying what should occur when certain actions are performed, like clicking a button. This visual clarity significantly enhances understanding and reduces miscommunication. I particularly appreciate the visual flow feature, which I believe is the essence of Miro. It allows for the creation of comprehensive user flows and journeys, which is immensely helpful given the array of features Miro provides. Getting acclimated to Miro was smooth for me, as it's somewhat similar to Figma and resembles tools like Google Slides in ease of navigation. The process is straightforward when pulling out elements like arrows and shapes, which I find simple and efficient. Overall, for anyone needing to create user flows, I strongly recommend Miro, rating it a perfect 10 for this purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Miro's text handling features frustrating to use. The inability to resize sticky notes or text boxes freely without the text size changing is a significant limitation for me. This inflexibility makes it difficult to maintain specific font sizes and shapes, unlike platforms like Google Slides where text and image resizing are more intuitive and allow for more control. Additionally, the cumbersome process of locating and using the upload feature in Miro disrupts my workflow. I have to search for the upload icon every time, as it is not readily accessible on the toolbar. Even after locating it, the icon fails to stay in a fixed place, forcing me to repeatedly search for it, which is quite aggravating. I wish there was an option to customize and permanently keep certain tools in the toolbar to prevent this recurring issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create clear visual flows, alleviating communication roadblocks with developers and enhancing understanding of app and website designs.

What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate how Miro enhances our remote team collaboration and provides a joyful and efficient experience. The platform significantly improves not only collaboration but also clarity in our workflow. Its powerful suite of tools is pivotal in bringing out the best in our team. I find Miro's templates particularly helpful as they allow us to get up and running quickly, which saves us a considerable amount of time. The swimlanes feature assists us in organizing our curriculum plans effectively, which is essential for our team. Additionally, the use of stickies and voting dots is invaluable during brainstorming sessions and decision-making processes. Overall, Miro's tools are instrumental in enhancing our productivity and creativity. On top of these benefits, the initial setup of Miro was very easy, making the transition to using this tool seamless. My positive experience with Miro is reflected in my willingness to recommend it to others, rating it a solid 10 when asked about its likelihood of recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the timer didn't disappear from the screen unless I tell it to do so. I would like to be able to call everyone's screen to a certain location. I would like to be able to hide content more easily until I want to unveil it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro enhances collaboration and clarity for our remote team, offering tools like templates, swimlanes, and stickies that streamline curriculum planning and decision-making efficiently.

Revolutionized Remote Collaboration and Visualization

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro allows multiple team members to work on the same board at once, which makes collaboration smooth and efficient. The ability to have people working in different areas simultaneously is incredibly valuable for both individual and team productivity. I also appreciate Miro’s infinite scalability, enabling me to zoom in and out as needed, and to add rich detail to any frame. This flexibility allows me to create a board composed of multiple elements or a frame of frames, which is essential for detailed project planning and brainstorming. The visualization of complex project interactions and asynchronous collaboration are also standout features that make Miro very helpful for my engineering functions and software development tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Highlighting changes on the board and identifying who made those changes between different visits is not always clear. This can be particularly problematic for asynchronous work. Additionally, the lack of a feature for board rollback to a specific date and the inability to compare two boards at different dates is limiting. It would be beneficial to have a functionality similar to Apple's Time Machine for these purposes. Furthermore, the initial setup was challenging due to the difficulty in discerning which features were included in each subscription plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro solves remote and asynchronous collaboration challenges, allowing for efficient teamwork with infinite scalability to manage complex projects effectively.

Intuitive and Customizable for Creative Workflows

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for creating sitemaps for my agency's clients, and I most like the customization options it offers and how easy it is to use. The drag-and-drop interface is incredibly helpful for moving elements exactly where I want them, providing an intuitive way to organize my projects. I appreciate the color options for sticky notes and lines, which help in making a clear presentation that effectively communicates important information. Additionally, Miro allows my team and clients to visually understand and determine the structure and layout of a website’s content. This ability to quickly see how information connects is invaluable. Setting up Miro was also very easy; I could connect my Google account and join my team right away. Overall, Miro facilitates a seamless workflow, enabling efficient collaboration and satisfying both my team’s and clients’ expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes find it challenging to get things to line up exactly right in Miro. While the grid lines and automatic dimensions generally work to help align elements, it can be more time-consuming than expected. Additionally, I feel that having built-in templates with specific alignments could enhance its usability. While I'm aware that boards can be duplicated, the ability to save specific templates for repeated use would be beneficial, especially as I continue to familiarize myself with Miro's capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create structured sitemaps for clients, which clarifies website content and navigation visually for my team and clients, enhancing the overall user experience.
