We use it for everything!
What do you like best about the product?
The main things I like are using it as a collaborative tool, my design teams use it to create user journeys and map out timelines for projects. We also use it for creating project plans - and once we have a template we love and know we copy and paste it when we need it again. One project one board, it's brilliant.
Further to this I love how easy it is to create mood boards for design projects, copy and paste things in, make notes on the fly. and map out org charts.
I love it so much that I am writing a review that I never bother with.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, everything I want to do I can. Especially embedding it into other platforms. One small change is that as they are really big boards I sometimes create one project in one size and then create another in a bigger font and then lost it on the board. It would be great (but not essential) if you could lock in your themes the font size so everything is the same size (to be honest you probably can do this)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a led instructional designer I use this for all my projects and also my user experiences. I love the create frame feature where I can share an image of my workflow straight to (noninvited members). I also use this feature loads for presentations so I can create and then add.
Further to this I love the templates... I them as a design layout and then add all my own issues into it. I love giving my whole team access to a board and then use copy and paste from my private board. This is so easy and makes it a great collaboration tool.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is great for design workflows with easy, its ability to work in real-time means its great for teams to get to together and produce some great mind maps and flows.
Helps team ideation and great virtual collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can be scrappy in workshops and meetings or use templates to present to stakeholders. As a UX designer I can use Miro to work with Developers, Product Managers and UX Researchers to bring clarity and let ideas form.
Miro allows me to think on the go, as a designer it has almost replaced the layout pad I use. Miro has also been something that we look at in terms of design patterns and UX for users too.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Miro app kills my CPU usage.
I sometimes find the sizing odd if I start off zoomed out too much

Teams working together virtually in an engaging way. Miro has been the best thing since I've been working remotely.
Amazing tool for online Agile meetings
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Miro are the templates and how visual they are. They really helped me improve my meetings and retrospectives since working from home was mandatory, and we could no longer use our work space.
It's also really easy to use for people that have never used online whiteboards before, and quick to implement when you need to make something on the go.

What do you dislike about the product?
The con I see is that it's required for everyone to sign up on the platform to use a board. I'd love to have a "guest" temporary role for people who only need to use the board once.
Also I'd love to have more pre-made templates for agile meetings, the ones provided sometimes are too simple (like just squares and some text) for my liking and require to put extra work.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has really helped me to be able to make retrospectives again, since most of us are working from home. It's a fun way of conecting people and making them participate in the meetings, as well as putting into perspective common problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For people considering this tool, I think it's the best option out there if you need a whiteboard but can't afford paying for it. The free version has enough tools to work with it and I hadn't had a problem with the fact that you can only have a limited amount of boards since the white board is "infinite".
Great tool for remote whiteboarding sessions, and setting up online facilitation outlines.
What do you like best about the product?
I can visualise almost anything, and really create a great flow and story for the sessions I hold. It allows me to pre-prepare a whiteboard session with a clear outline and enables great facilitation by allowing others to follow my view.
What do you dislike about the product?
It slows down sometimes when it is loading assets. I really appreciate having no delay when making changes, and to enable changes at pace. (I use the desktop app version) - I am comparing it to 'powerpoint' where I can make significant changes and not have delays in updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Convergence. Getting everyone on the same page. Bringing people along the journey with visual aids. Next best thing to being in person.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a solid whiteboarding tool to work with your teams remotely. This is a great option.
Most versatile virtual collaboration tool I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a refreshing blend of innovation, intuition, and collaboration. The ability to zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to engage in the details make it possible to facilitate holistic conversations and discussions both in small team and large group settings. The fact that Miro keeps adding in new cool features (I head Zoom integration is coming real soon) shows that the team listens and responds to the feedback of the community/users to continually make it better and more relevant to the changing nature of work.
The Miro community is another amazing thing that keeps me coming back. I've met top-notched facilitators, professionals and educators who are so passionate to share experiences and best-practices.

What do you dislike about the product?
I guess Miro's user experience on mobile devices might still be an area for improvement. However, I also understand how hard it is to strike a balance between complexity and simplicity, as well as platform compatibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Facilitating team discussions using microstructures,
Engaging with students in large group setting,
Capturing thoughts/opinions/responses and allowing participants to revisit/review contents

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is a game-changer for teams/organisations who want to take their collaboration, whether virtual, face-to-face or blended mode to the next level.
A great tool for remote teams working Agile
What do you like best about the product?
Co-located teams benefit from shared whiteboards and sticky walls to connect dots and to collect and share insights with each other between face to face meetings. My Miro boards have served that key function during pandemic -- and likely what will become post-pandemic -- remote team work.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me the greatest downside is seeing all of the great features that would benefit the entire enterprise in which I work, when it is politically infeasible to purchase an enterprise account. Miro could be vastly more functional for my team and my managers, and oversight partners, if we would purchase a business or enterprise solution. Right now, going out of pocket isn't an option for me, but even the free features are amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a way to brainstorm as a remote team in the off-time/breaks during the day because the Miro boards are available as editable, casual information sources that team members can edit/visit at the times it works for them.
Great way to collaborate and bring team together, align the team
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Easy to learn. Visually appealing. Great way to collaborate with a large team. And for team members to participate and openly share ideas. Particularly like the documentation aspect; thoughts are easily captured on "sticky notes" and can be downloaded as a CSV file. I also like the templates. It's great way to jumpstart usage of the tool. Super flexible tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
More flexibility with free version. Ability to delete some "test" boards. Enable the free version a bit more management tools. Which, I believe, can help transition free users to subscribe to a paid model. Possibly consider a more cost-effective 3- or 6-month paid trial. The "share settings" should also have a "+" button rather than having to go back to previous screen to add or invite team members. Oh, lastly, requests for access seems to go to multiple users instead to only the administrators. A few more options to font would be nice, too. Some use case examples worth considering could be offered on the splash page/opening page. It's in the "?" tab, but could be easier to find or suggested on the opening page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordination. Collaboration documentation. Team members are more engaged and excited in participating in a video-chat / team meeting. Good way to share co-created work and synthesize group's thoughts. And also share collective thinking with leadership.
Intuitive, powerful, perfect for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro provides so many templates that you can always find one that you need. Flowchart and mindmap are my most frequently used ones. There are also countless apps integrated that I haven't even explored. But it is already powerful enough to convince me to keep using it. The design of the interface is simple and good-looking. It's also quite intuitive to get ahold of it even if you are using it for the first time. Also, the app is pretty lightweight. The webpage also provides identical functions and experiences as the app which means that you don't have to download the app. What's even better is that this is all free for students and education staff, which I'm really grateful for. Most of the time, I use it for presenting ideas and project illustration within my team, which I found really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most annoying drawback for me is when exporting the boards to an image, there's no way to get a transparent background. It also can't be utilized to its full potential when people around you are not using it.
Regarding specific functionalities, I hope more color schemes can be provided. And I would like automatically generated covers because most of the time I'm too lazy to select a cover myself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing ideas and processes with my coworkers. It really helps with my presentation and for them to understand what I'm talking about.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are paying for any of the mind mapping/ flowchart/ diagrams/ whiteboard apps just use that subscription fee on Miro. It's probably the same price with so many more functions.
I highly recommend it.

An amazing tool for collaborative work and design thinking
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to interact with and create new diagrams or notes - the functions are very intuitive so it seems so natural, very easy to learn. The space of the board is so large, you can fit all your project work into the one board so it is easier to work collaboratively in a group. I really like how there are pre-made templates because it allows me to get through work quicker, they also are inspirational since they show me new techniques I could possible use in my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I 'dislike' - but currently I'm trying to create a systems map - a function that would help to reorganise connections in the best format would be useful. Similar to the Apple 'clean-up' function.
What would be even more useful is a calculation function or some kind of 'smart tool' that would be incorporated into the templates. For example, in an affinity diagram, it could tell you how much a certain work appears, making it easier to group sticky notes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to work collaboratively on University projects with my group and apply design-think techniques easily (especially during COVID).
Having the real-time feedback of seeing members contribute to work makes me feel really connected in work with them - we're able to easily visually express our ideas in realtime despite working remotely.
Problems I've looked at are reducing childhood obesity, supporting mental health and enabling greater social connectedness during travel.

Collaboration, Workshopping, Visioning, Structuring,
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is not only a digital whiteboard but a breakthrough application of a what whiteboards can be in the digital age. I use it to collaborate asynchronously with my teams, to workshop synchronously between 2 and 25 people. Furthermore I use it to visionalize storyboards individually as well as to gather, structure and synthesize research. I have a both a corporate account and a private one.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike is that there are no shares to buy of miro (yet?). Because I think it is that amazing! Ok, I would appreciate 2 more boards for private use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
