Miro enabled me to work in a completely new way.
What do you like best about the product?
The infinite canvas allows me to feel comfortable in putting all ideas in one place. Another of my favorite features of the product is the well-designed tool UI. At first glance, it seems simple, but at a deeper look, there are a lot of features available. This helps to not overwhelm the user when they start using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app could have more functionality. Additionally, I would like to have more options to collaborate with external tools, such as Google sheets and similar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Miro has been most useful in making very complex problems simple. It allowed me to break down difficult concepts from my daily consulting work into manageable pieces while having all the information available on the same canvas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is useful to spend a good amount of time preparing boards in advance and make sure that different groups of users are comfortable using them - especially those who are not experienced.
Another common mistake that I've seen is forgetting to lock the items before sharing - it is a good practice since mistakes can happen and collaborators can edit items by accident.

Miro Review
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create mindmaps and layouts for presentations, particularly for photography. I can upload my photographs, see the relationship between the images and make a selection of the ones I want as finals. Miro also allows me to resize images and be able to get an idea of the image proportions in relation to one another. I can duplicate images in order to arrange them into a series of what the final presentation of the photos will look like. Being an artist and designer, miro is crucial to my process as it allows me to break down my entire process by creating a roadmap. I can map out different stages of my process to keep track of what stage I am currently in and how much more work I need to do to complete a project. Most importantly, Miro allows me to share my work with other people, and I am in control of whether the person I invite onto my board can edit, comment or view. This feature is beneficial for collaboration as it allows all group members to work on the same project from different locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The usability can be difficult to understand at first. The images appear small and the user has to adjust them to their liking. The select button can be confusing as well as it is interchangable from being a move tool and selecting tool. The user simply has to click on the cursor button on the left hand side of the screen. All of these issues are minor and only need explanation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me break down art and design projects and simplify them into subtasks. It is also beneficial in creating a layout of the presentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is the best platform for collaboration as it allows one to create boards that they can use to communicate or break down ideas for themselves and others. For me, it is helpful because of the freedom it allows me in my creative process. Miro also has various templates for people who wish to work with ease and do not want to create their format. They also assist should a user need assistance. I have written based on my personal experience with Miro as an artist, but honestly speaking, it is beneficial regardless of the industry that one is working in.
Miro is very intuitive, easy to share boards with participants of meetings and workshops.
What do you like best about the product?
New features are frequently adding. It has nice and intuitive interface. Pricing is school-friendly. Timer is very usefull, way to manage frames, activity log, pen (especially when i use Miro on iPad). Miroverse is a great idea to build comunnity and share free templates. Locking and hidening frames is very useful. I'm using very often voting feature, is easy to use. Embedding external objects like google documents, forms, youtube, prezi, pictures, web pages and many others and I can run them directy from the miro board. I love "bring everyone to me" when I'm providing workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
Memory usage, when I have more than one tab open, occure problems with slow working computer. What I would love to have as a feature to prevent meeting participants from seeing the Frames List panel while in presentation or split-screen mode. I propose to increase feature "Pen" and the possibilities of drawing like brush effect, blur. Would be usefull to have possibility to transfer the ownership of boards, because without it, even if I'm the admin I'm not able to remove old boards, because I'm not the owner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm conducting online workshops, meetings when we had to switch to remote work. I'm saving time when using templates. Thanks to Miro, I have inspiration how to facilitate meetings, warmups and it helps integrate people in whole over the company and world. Miro can replace power point :) I can keep order thanks to project, where I can catalog and group boards. "Bring everyone to me" helps a lot participans to stay focused and not lost on board. I don't have to pay extra when I invite workshop participans just for one time. It is also saving time when I'm preparing documentation after workshop, just simply do export to needed format. I think I can do all my work on Miro, just my imagination is the limit :)
I recommend Miro to everyone who works with teams in any industry, public service, education, as well as for those who prepare business analyzes, architecture, presentations.

Fast start with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an incredibly productive tool. It is intuitive, easy to use, and comes with a broad range of adaptable templates along with Icon sets. Furthermore, Miro provides an excellent and growing set of good training material. The diagramming component is one of the easiest that I have ever used. The result is that I was able to put Miro to productive use within a couple of days.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find anything to dislike. One suggestion would be to modify the way in which frames are bounded so that content that is external to the defined context does not appear in presentations. But this is a minor gripe and it easy to work around it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is an excellent platform for collecting thoughts, sharing them, and developing them in collaboration with colleagues. It is easy to jot down and reorganize thoughts on the broad canvases which provide a stored record. Furthermore, it does a good job of generating PDFs that can be sent out as presentations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start by doing the tutorial, use it for a few minutes each day, and explore the templates. Be bold and use it on a real project.
Can't think of myself working in a team without collaborating in Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro gave us the ability to map our thoughts intrenally and collaborate with peers using boards. It is extraordinary how we implement Miro boards collaborating with clients trying to solve real life scenario and provide solutions to their business needs. I would never expect see my clients leaving comments helping our project delivery process. Allowing clients to participate through the service design process help us get valuable insights and get a more solid brief. Getting access to tribal knowledge through Miroverse give an amazing opportunity to learn from Miro experts and other professional on a huge variety of use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Up until now I haven't come across to any features or workflows I don't find helpful. However I'd say that it will take sometime for someone in your team who is not a creative spirit or familiar with remote collaboration to ramp up quickly and start using more advanced features in Miro. Understanding full capacity of features and use cases requires effort and a significant time spent within the platform.

I'd advise watching youtube videos on how to use Miro and definitely follow the Miro Experts and Miro community!
There is no online board like miro
What do you like best about the product?
I can use Miro as a work board, as a board for creating mobile application (my side project), as a personal notebook - so many different tools are applicable in different situations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to use my pen to draw on board. now it works awful, so I use Microsoft Onenote/
I also would like to have an easier navigation tool than making a text with links; I also need to find this text on board :)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared working space. I design an app (side project), design a technical experiment, trying to do a system engineering analysis (I wonder now if there is an OPM diagram instrument in Miro, I might not have seen it) , thinking about putting personal staff in Miro (need a pen-writing for this :( )
Recommendations to others considering the product:
mind the switch between a 'hand' and a 'cursor'.
Miro helps a lot in our everyday research process, especially when working remotely!
What do you like best about the product?
We love how Miro allows us to collaborate in real-time and communicate our ideas among the team and to our clients in visually appealing way! And it's so intuitive - the learning curve for new users among our team was short. An option to videocall each other within a specific board is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that is lacking - an option to freeze elements, like an Excel "Freeze row/column". Some research stages result in big tables (for example User Journey Map), which are really hard to overview without freeze column option. That would be helpful for timeline tables as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps visually organize information, and it's super easy to make a mind map. We also create mood boards, a screen map, and other deliverables in Miro. It's helpful how easy aligning and changing elements are so that we can create neat deliverables quickly. Google docs integration also helps, when we are adding a link to some external documents.

I recommend to try and see how it fits in your daily work routine. It's a highly versatile tool!
Amazing product for collaborative effort in this pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
I love the whole idea of a digital soft board where you can collaborate with fellow creatives to realise your ideas. The product allows a vast pool of information to be in the user's vision. Due to this, dots can be connected seamlessly and new ideas can be compared with ease to come up with the best results possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sort of hate that the free plan has just 3 boards editable, I hoped that it could have been free for one person and then paid for collaboration.
Also sometimes, the cursor pans the board instead of selecting the elements, and vice versa also occurs. This causes a mess at times on the board, where frames and elements are moved unnecessarily.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problems of not having access to space for compiling a ton of information at a place so that I can make links, find patterns and validate the information. I am able to process information now, find gaps, and help facilitate creativity just sitting in front of my laptop instead of being in my larger studio space.
Further benefits are as follows
1) Interactive video calling
2) Stopwatch mode inbuilt into the program
3) Ability to arrange frames in a presentation mode so that you can directly show your progress to clients
4) Virtual room for asynchronous or real-time collaboration
5) Perfect product for an agile oriented organisation
6) Perfect for productive feedback sessions between cross-functional team members

Excellent Tools for Mind Maps and Brainstorming with Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use Miro. I use it almost every day for brainstorming. We have a remote team and everyone in the team loves to use Miro when we are brainstorming.
We use it for mapping user journeys and design a lot.
I personally use it for flowcharts and mind mapping.
They also have an excellent set of apps in the App Store.

What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to think of any. I would say the tool is excellent. It was a bit expensive for us as we are a bootstrapped start-up, but once we started using it, we saw the value it has to offer and we are using it now to the fullest extent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mindmaps/brainstorming - Extremely easy to come up with them. Very easy for the team to understand the big picture and stay on the same page.
User Journeys - Very easy to map user journeys and think around them.
Design - Very easy as a team to collaborate, share comments, and brainstorm.
Collaboration - Very easy to collaborate. Especially if it is a remote team, it's a no-brainer.

Blank space for a lot of ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has adaptable templates for your ideas and ease to use. If you want to build a roadmap or describe your thoughts attached to images, Miro will help you with many features. Also, it's easy to share and contribute with your colleagues. In fact, doesn't really matter what I use: mindmapping, prototyping or roadmap features. The best of Miro application is its resources and the possibility of create a lot of ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I use Miro, I put a lot of information on my boards. That's fantastic, but could be very heavy to other users. One thing that could help with it is reducing the archive size when the user hide frames in his/her board. I use that function a ,ot on my board to load more quickly, but I believe Miro could explore this possibility using cache or antoher technical support to diminish the latency. Also, the Windows app version couldn't support downloading frames in JPEG. Whe I have to do that, I usually open my browser to download the frame. That could be fixed!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To stay aligned with my colleagues and stakeholders, sharing ideas, roadmap, etc. When I conduct retros (in Scrum), Miro is the best option because it offers videoconferencing, dot voting, and a lot of features that help us interact. Users can navigate to all the problems lited, vote on issues that deserves more attention, and be aligned on what we could do together to improve our team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Share Miro with all the teams you have in your company, not only product or technology, because more people could contribute and share different thoughts to improve the company.
