Best way to drive team collaboration

  • October 01, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro's versatility, and our team uses it daily. We use it to create diagrams, review workflows, and gather our thoughts when reviewing requirements. It is effortless to manage groups and various boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike from Miro; one thing I would love to see would be more music options on the timers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in software, we do a lot of architectural diagrams and brainstorm around concepts. It is much better to have everyone sketch their ideas on a board and discuss them visually.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stop looking for alternatives to increase the productivity of your teams; use Miro!

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very useful tool to design and plan ideas make roadmaps of products and startups.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have more framework templates for free accounts, but it is still a very useful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm starting a business/startup and since the beginning of the process, Miro was my planning and designing tool. I use it I'm my actual work as an agile facilitator and business/technology consulting.

Put your idea in the world using Miro.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows for a structured organization of ideas that can be saved and looked back at at any time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limits of the number of boards can be pretty difficult. Luckily this can be solved with a free student account, but most students discover this opportunity very late.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In miro, you can clearly structure your notes and easily change them if necessary, whereas this is more difficult if using real-life sticky notes etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First, look through all the opportunities which Miro offers and then have a session to play with all the features before really starting to work.

What do you like best about the product?
I used to use Microsoft Whiteboard and it was simply trash. That is when I sought out a whiteboard that actually allowed for meaningful brainstorming and visualizing to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any complaints. The only EXTERNAL dislike is my IT group not integrating across Microsoft teams. Otherwise, I always love using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security clearance and integration from my IT group is an annoyance.
Many benefits, such as being able to easily bring my team together at the same time to work on a brainstorming event, troubleshoot problems and visualize ideas.

Is the work tool I use the most

  • September 28, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is a tool that allows you to keep work in progress in a collaborative way. I think it is compelling because it will enable you to organize ideas, transform them, it allows you to have guided conversations, especially in remote work times, it works as a common ground.

I really like the Apps integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that sometimes you can get lost in so much information. It is easy to put all the information on a board and it becomes too heavy to load.
Sometimes you do not understand the size of what you are creating and when exporting it it may be too big or too small, it creates huge pdf files
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am building service journey maps, analyzing information from qualitative research, building presentations, a creative sessions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to use the templates and the apss integrations

Excellent for virtual work!

  • September 24, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It creates a visual reference for pattern finding and meaning making for virtual teams, with easy access and a variety of analysis features. Much more depth of function than JamBoards
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the screen is a bit difficult to navigate, but I think that is mostly an issue of user competence rather than limits in the software. It does a lot of work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One recent use was analyzying a series of interviews for an organization and community development project. Looking for differences and similarities. Worked well with teams
Recommendations to others considering the product:

The mobile app is a great way to participate and catch up on updates while on the go. Also, the wide selection of Miro integrations and rich content types really help with our brainstorming sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It might just be me, but I have not figured out a way to make embedded YouTube videos play while I am making other edits to the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whiteboards that enable remote team members to participate actively and stay informed on activity/progress.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with a free account and to try out features in some of your team meetings.
