Fantastic platform for team collaboration, process documentation, and much more!

  • October 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is incredibly slick with a modern design (compared to competitors like Mural). It's also very easy to navigate, the platform is intuitive and robust with a bunch of features. It can be used for a number of cases such as team onboarding, workshops, brainstorming sessions, wireframing etc.

Additionally, the tool is ever-evolving with new useful features being continuously added.
What do you dislike about the product?
- The pricing plan is a little steep
- As robust as it is, the platform itself is not enough for the whole task management. One would still require tools like Google Suite, Jira/Trello etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me visualize processes, which is incredibly useful to see the whole picture. I love that the canvas is infinite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Familiarize yourself with all features Miro has to offer, watch a quick demo, dive in, and play around to get the hang of it.

    Logistics and Supply Chain

A seamless experience when creating presentations, diagrams and all sort of visual representations.

What do you like best about the product?
-The fact that Miro is quite intuitive and easy to use
- Beautiful outcomes that are possible to 'draw' will all the available tools
- Features like being able to follow someone when he/she is presenting
What do you dislike about the product?
-Sometimes it's impossible to change the size of the letters
-There is not enough diversity in the typographies
- It's annoying that I can place the arrows only in specific spaces
- I would like to be able to create folders inside the groups of work, like to organize better my miro boards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- No business problems, my use is more to make diagrams and maps that I share with my teams to expose ideas.
- In my previous job I was drafting all the research results on miro, User Journey maps, personas, etc.
-Benefits: the possibility of making participatory workshops of innovation, co-creation, and some methodologies of research.

Very convenient and intuitive way to work with remote teams

What do you like best about the product?
I like simplicity and keeping advanced (often unnecessary) features out of the sight, so UX is really good. I have used Miro for team workshops for quite many years and users who are new to Miro, grasp it very quickly so we don't waste time to learn how to use the tool. Also, the pricing level is reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions management is far too complicated. Some features should be a bit improved, like the voting - after voting you can see the votes for a fixed period of time and after closing voting results, they disappear. I would like to keep them visible on the stickies as long as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for any visualization, for working together with remote teams, including retrospective meetings, for teaching students etc. Sharing a board with the guests who are not forced to log in is an extremely valuable feature. Quite often I find something useful from Miroverse which contains a comprehensive amount of templates and it grows together with a community.

Best tool for userflow and research

  • October 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Multitude of templates, easy to use, multi collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few technical functionnality like if you want to move an object, usually in figma, sketch or other software you can press hold + click to move and here it's the opposite.
Plugin sync with figma is not great but don't now if it's part of Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving user flow / journey.
Research about decision or logic for our product.
Presentation of problems.
We also used it for sprint standup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It will be your tool for basically every research or enhanced notes

Whiteboard to enhance learner autonomy

  • October 05, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
sharing links to games or videos or online activities and the visual side of each of the links
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app doesn't allow my students to click on links. I have to add additional post-it notes, which is time-consuming. On iPads, tablets or websites it's all good. I emailed Miro support about it and they said will put this issue on their long to-do list :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with parents, students and other teachers in real time or asynchronously. Really helpful. I use Miro both on-line and on-site during my lesson.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's best to have educational account (100 free board) if your email end with .k12 or .edu...

    Information Technology and Services

the most powerfull tool for remote working and the project management

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a fantastic software with a multitude of functionalities, from video conférences to code implementation. The possibilities are unlimited for the people who can understand Miro.
I have been using it since 2019 as a free user; now that I am launching my Start-up, it's time to change my license for the small team.

As an Agil or Scrum master, I have been identifying the miro potential immediately, just with the multiuser board and the introductory notes, schemas. Flexibility is the important word, and in those uncertain times that we are all facing right now, there is nothing alike on the market.

I am very thankful to the miro team for the possibility of holding an unrestricted license without any time limit, and it's a pleasure to write this review.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't any wrong side in Miro, but it's asking a lot of skills to handle it perfectly. It needs time and practice to be an expert, that's all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all, it's helping me to build all kinds of projects and to get a clear overview of the working advancement after I can see very quickly who is actively working by commenting and adding ideas.
I am also winning a lot of time with all the pre-build items, and it's effortless to personalize them to my use. The visualization of Internet links is such a great asset, and they are plenty of other aspects that I am still discovering. The last thing that I would like to tell about Miro is about all the tutorials available. It's impossible to get lost; every agile manager should get a look at this Marvel. The daily meeting and other agile tasks are straightforward, making the workflow more accurate even with the remote working issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the best tool for all kinds of project management; there isn't any doubt. All the great companies are using it!

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of use. I Feel like Miro allows me to turn the canvas of chaos that is my brain into something digestable by others in a super collaborative manner. It's the first product I've found that really allows me to work how I want to work. I'm totally sold
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little to be honest. One of the main challenges I have is when inserting items they insert really tiny, which is more annoying than a blocker
It's challenging when other partipants move boards around I've created, that takes some time to sort out
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration: This just allows things to take place so much more effectively than other tools i've used
Workshopping; MIRO provides a great platform for collaboraitve ideation
Planning: I use MIRO now for everything from discovery planning to my to do list

    Computer Software

Best collaboration tool

  • October 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collaborate with different teams (internal and external); I'm using Miro to manage priorities across different teams and collaborate with those teams and their PMs on setting the right priority.
Recently I started to use Miro SWOT template to collect sales engineer feedback in a live collaborative session across multi-regions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike, it works as expected. Sometimes it is difficult to find the right template for my specific tasks. Also, the main dashboard is not showing the thumbnail of each board I've recently created. Therefore I sometimes need to click in and see more details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to manage teams discussion and collaborative session when working from remote.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended tool. Helps when working with remote teams and when adopting agile methodology.

A great way for organizating information

  • October 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
That I can make really beautiful graphic organizers, faster and easier than on any other page. There are many templates that help me organize my information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that what I dislike is that if you don´t have a premium account you only have 3 editable workplaces, and if you want to change an old map you can not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved my problem with doing graphic organizers because I hated making them, but with Miro is something completely different.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is a great page for organizing your information and working with another workers.

    Consumer Goods

Super slick and easy to use!

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for virtual brainstorming session with teams and it has been great. The virtual whiteboard has been helpful to get people out of their linear "Microsoft Office" shell and engage differently. The platform help to inspire creative thinking and helps to keep remote participants engaged and energized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a bit steep for new participants, so typically I am navigating and updating and changing and everyone is watching. Somtimes too when I scroll people get a little motion-sick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used this for virutal brainstorming sessions. Typically it is a session I would do in an in-person full day session with sticky notes on walls. It has been great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Opportunities for use are endless! It takes a couple of usage occasions to get use to it, but once you get it navigation is easy to use.
