Unmatched Flexibility for Creative Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most is the flexibility. With this tool, I’m able to do nearly anything. From hosting team-building activities and games to creating structured brainstorming sessions and design thinking workshops. I honestly can’t picture my workday without opening Miro. It allows me to organize my thoughts and ideas, save links or images I want to revisit later, and monitor my annual goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the icon and image library in Miro could use some improvements, especially when it comes to the variety of options and the effectiveness of the search function. The only time I find myself getting frustrated with Miro is when I'm searching for icons. Additionally, I wish they would introduce more stickers, as it seems like the selection hasn't changed much since I began using the platform years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it easy for me to collaborate with colleagues around the world, no matter the time zone. It streamlines my ability to plan, organize, and monitor all my projects in a single location. I also use Miro to run workshops and sessions with our teams, replicating real-life activities like using post-it notes and dot voting. Using Miro is enjoyable, too. Whenever I introduce it to a new team member, they usually pick it up quickly and find the experience engaging. Whenever a work problem feels overwhelming, I turn to Miro to organize my thoughts and share them with the team, ensuring everyone is on the same page about what needs to be done.
Streamlined Collaboration with Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for designing workflows and components for our mobile app development. The ability to model the entire workflow, including real app screenshots and detailed user flow, is invaluable for both stakeholders and developers. It's incredibly convenient to have all the business rules and logic clearly laid out, making discussions about the app's behavior straightforward and efficient. I particularly appreciate the easy navigation features of Miro, such as using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out and the middle button to pan across long horizontal boards. This makes accessing and reviewing information on the board very efficient. Moreover, the real-time collaboration feature, where I can see and follow my teammates' mouse pointers, enhances our remote discussions significantly. The initial setup was seamless and the platform is very intuitive, making it easy for new users to join and start working collaboratively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes accidentally make changes to the board while browsing, like left-clicking by mistake or moving components out of place. I would appreciate a read-only mode that would prevent unintentional alterations. While I can usually spot and undo these changes, it's easy to miss them, and having a read-only option would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to model workflows, incorporate real app screenshots, and detail user flows, enabling easy review by stakeholders and developers. Miro's ability to show all mouse pointers enhances remote collaboration, while easy navigation improves access and efficiency.

The software makes it incredibly easy to put together ideas and for ideation, offering a wide array of boxes and color options to enhance the visuals. The arrow feature is particularly helpful, allowing me to easily move elements around as needed. I appreciate the capability to add different shapes and lines, as well as the ability to include sticky notes around the board for comments or notes on changes I want to make. The intuitive nature of Miro, especially in comparison to traditional pen and paper, makes it exceptionally easier to rearrange elements on the page. This intuitive usability was apparent right from the initial setup. Additionally, exporting Miro information to tools like Canva and Figma is seamless, enhancing its utility within my workflow.
