What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a great asset for my support team at work. Since we often collaborate on workflows, Miro provides us with a straightforward and transparent space that really encourages teamwork and makes the process much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the navigation between the board and an added Google Sheet to be less than ideal. It seems like this process could be made smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of visually organizing and communicating complex processes within our support operations. It gives my team a shared space to map workflows, brainstorm improvements, and align on priorities without needing multiple tools or long meetings. This has made collaboration more efficient and helped us stay aligned, even when working remotely.

Cannot handle huge amount of data. Website crashes

What I like best about Miro is how easy it makes teamwork. It’s a simple, visual space where everyone can jump in at the same time, share ideas, and organize them fast without a bunch of meetings.

Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming when boards get big, and it’s easy for things to turn messy. Also, on slower laptops or with lots of people editing, it can lag a little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of ideas and plans being scattered across chats, docs, and meetings. By putting everything on one shared visual board, it makes brainstorming, planning, and alignment way faster. For me, that means fewer back-and-forths, clearer direction, and quicker decisions with the team.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its versatility and ability to organize my entire life. It seamlessly supports both my work and personal life, allowing me to tailor my organization process according to my needs. I greatly value Miro's flexibility, which lets me use it for multiple purposes exactly how I want. Compared to other websites, Miro excels in providing a platform for organizing my tasks effectively. The setup process was pretty easy, making it accessible and straightforward to start using. Despite using the free version due to budget constraints, I find immense utility in its features. Furthermore, on a scale from 1 to 10, I'm very satisfied, rating it a 9, which highlights my positive experience and high likelihood of recommending it to friends and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Miro's premium package pricing to be prohibitive, especially considering the exchange rates in Brazil, where the dollar is expensive for us. This forces me to use the free version, which restricts me to a limited number of boards. As a result, I have to cram a lot of information onto a single board, making it quite slow and unwieldy. This causes difficulties when I try to access it on my phone or even on my computer, especially when the internet connection isn't strong.

I think Miro could be improved by having a more advanced clipping tool for better integration of images. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have more templates specifically tailored for design and creative processes, which can enhance the workflow from the idea phase to the final phase. These improvements would cater more effectively to the needs of creatives and similar functions.

I find navigation in Miro to be less intuitive than I would like. Zooming and moving around with clicks could be made easier to enhance the user experience.

Large boards can become slow or laggy. Sometimes navigation and zooming feel cluttered on big projects

The tool supports the use of images, videos, and models, allowing team members to fill them in real time. This makes it particularly useful for company-wide strategy sessions, including retrospectives, brainstorming, mind maps, competitor analysis, and proposition canvases. It serves as a digital replacement for traditional whiteboards with post-its, facilitating seamless idea visualization. I also appreciate its value in working with our international management teams from various locations. The features I use and value the most include post-its, dot voting, and the timer, which significantly enhance productivity and efficiency during meetings. Setting up Miro was very easy, as I could easily adapt a board style I used in the past to fit our brand. Overall, I am really happy with this tool as it provides a robust platform for enhancing team collaboration across diverse locations.

I don't have any negative remarks besides that if you don't lock the board, people will accidentally mess up a lot.

The variety of tools available empowers me to digitalize my thoughts effortlessly, enhancing collaboration significantly in remote setups by allowing seamless sharing. Miro's extensive range of templates is incredibly beneficial, helping me get started on projects quickly and efficiently. The ease of the initial setup is also impressive, allowing immediate collaboration, making it perfect for both novice and experienced users. The integration capability with other applications, like Notion, adds to its functionality by providing a unified workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sharing individual pieces of a board is hard. I have to use frames for that purpose, but they can't be nested, which limits flexibility. Additionally, I haven't found the presentation mode useful for sharing sections of the board.

I use Miro for remote collaboration, ideation, and prototyping, enjoying its paper-like freedom and variety of tools. It digitizes my thoughts easily, allowing quick sharing. While setup is easy, sharing pieces of a board needs improvement.
