Excellent for Team Collaboration with Room for Improvement

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for team collaboration and whiteboarding things. I like how it helps with planning together with my team, drawing prototypes, and conducting interviews. It's easy because it's not attached to Zoom calls and generally more flexible. The initial setup was pretty easy too, although there was a white page problem at first, but it got better with the templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have trouble with template selection. I've seen a template once and now can't find it again. I need more visual examples or a way to look for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for team collaboration and whiteboarding. It solves my collaboration and digital drawing needs, making planning and prototyping with my team easier.

Excellent for Visualizing Website Changes and Product Retrospectives

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it enables me to visually represent the changes required for website development. I also like to use it for product launch retrospectives for capturing all the input of what went well and what we might do better.
What do you dislike about the product?
. Miro is a very complex tool, which means the revision history is also very complex. If you want to go back to an earlier state of the board, see where certain changes were made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we are launching a new product, it's important to be able to identify all of the different deliverables required for that launch. Miro enables our team to incrementally break down deliverables so that we can get a clearer and clearer picture of the work required for the launch.

Collaborative Powerhouse with Intuitive Features

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro for planning with my team because it's good for coming together as a group and doing things simultaneously. Its platform is designed to collaborate, where everyone has equal access and it feels almost like a physical space. The little stickies are just interactive and intuitive, enhancing our virtual collaboration. I appreciate creating dimensional frameworks to input stuff and work within a space that you can move around in. I also love the tools that embed specific things like Word docs because it makes you feel like you can riff on something within the space without having to jump to a separate Google Doc. Additionally, the setup of Miro is super simple; creating a workspace is intuitive and easy to get started with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like something that could be improved is having stronger tagging features. We do transcripts tagging elsewhere because with super long documents, there isn't really a way that supports those. Having something that would emulate a tag process like we might go through on Dovetail could be effective for Miro. I also find sometimes the onus is on the user to keep it organized, intuitive, easy to use. it helps to have someone to keep the space neat (that's usually me). sometimes i find formatting font to be frustrating with the sizing, and sometimes having to interpret and adjust the scale of the workspace can be a bit of a headache.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of being virtual while wanting to collaborate together in a space that feels almost physical. It provides equal access for team collaboration, allowing us to comment, embed documents, and use interactive stickies easily.

Creative Visualization Made Easy with Miro

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is responsive and that it now has an AI feature. I love that it allows me to be creative with the design of my workflows and making it interactive as well. The AI helps summarize work a bit faster in a large group setting and supports with synthesizing, which is a significant time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the vast board on Miro challenging, as it can appear to be overwhelming for users viewing it due to the large white space outside of a whiteboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to build workflows and visualize processes, which eliminates ambiguity. The AI helps summarize work faster and supports synthesizing, saving time. I love the responsiveness, creativity, and interactive design capabilities.

Miro: Effortless Collaboration & Rich Features

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro's easy-to-use interface and the collaboration feature that makes it much easier for our team to work together, even though we are not in the same location. The never-ending canvas is a standout aspect, as a single board can hold what feels like millions of ideas. It's easy for new team members to pick up and use Miro without any need for an introduction. I find live collaboration particularly important during team discussions, as it helps us build on each other's ideas effortlessly. Miro being feature-rich and having a better integration of mermaid diagrams is a huge advantage for us. Setting it up was smooth, taking just a few minutes to grasp the interface. We switched from draw.io because Miro offers better collaboration and more features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't used their AI assistant or similar, if there's any. If there's none - they should work on it and it can be highly beneficial, which can easily create for example a mermaid flow chart diagram with just a prompt having my exact requirements. This saves users multiple clicking and dragging across canvas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Miro solves is reducing written documentation. Diagrams are more elaborative and easier to understand. It's easier to collaborate on Miro together as a team in any discussion or meeting.

Effortless Collaboration and Creativity with Miro

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how effortlessly it enables collaboration and structured thinking. Whether it's for brainstorming, product roadmap planning, or user journey mapping — the platform provides the flexibility of a physical whiteboard with the clarity and organization of a digital workspace.

I especially appreciate:

Real-time collaboration that keeps cross-functional teams aligned, even when working remotely

Templates and integrations that reduce setup time and help teams move quickly from ideation to execution

Visual communication tools that make complex information easier to understand and discuss

Scalability — from a messy brainstorm to a refined, presentation-ready board in the same space

Overall, Miro enhances both creativity and productivity, making collaboration faster, more engaging, and more structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Miro can feel heavy — large boards slow down performance, and managing complex layouts can get overwhelming without strict organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of aligning distributed teams and organizing ideas visually. It helps me move from brainstorming to structured planning faster, keeps everyone engaged in real time, and ensures decisions are made with clarity and shared context.
