Great Collaboration tools
What do you like best about the product?
the Fact that we could work together in real time with my team is great features. i usee this software together with google drive and Zoom. i haven't tried any of the competitors yet
What do you dislike about the product?
so far i've found no flaw worth mentioning, everything works perfectly and precisely. i would suggest adding group call feature that could allow communcation between team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Group work from college. i could use miro to work and plan on project together in real time. the UI are also easy to use and recognize. and so far i've completed all my group assignment using this tools
Recommendations to others considering the product:
i advice using the chat system instead of communicating with sticky note in miro
Miro has changed the way I work!
What do you like best about the product?
It was amazing to come across Miro at the beginning of the lockdown - I love how easy it is to use and how many templates are available. It's not just a tool; it helps embed new ways of thinking and working within an organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love everything about Miro - can't think of anything I don't like

I've managed to slowly change the way we approach things within our organisation, having more of a customer focus and becoming more purpose and outcome-driven. We've even developed a team playbook in our organisation to support managers bringing their teams together following a merger—all based in Miro with raving results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend a bit of time testing things out and accessing the wealth of knowledge on miro.com and the miroverse. Reach out to people in your organisation or networks that might know more about it.
Miro - so valueable that we use it in personal meetings
What do you like best about the product?
miro has made a huge leap forward in the last 1.5 years and makes teamwork much easier. It is simply a totally intuitive, easy to understand tool that everyone in the organization can work with in no time. miro has managed the balancing act of picking up normal users as well as professional users. miro is a dream for every Scrum Master, every workshop leader and everyone who simply likes to work in a structured way. Our effectiveness has increased significantly since we started using miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
The templates at miro are worth their weight in gold for quickly getting inspiration for structuring a wide variety of topics. However, the selection of templates is not quite as user-friendly, once I have chosen a template and then decide against it, I can no longer change it without creating a new project (or I simply do not find the function).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it intensively for smaller meetings to brainstorm things quickly and record them without having to document them afterwards - as would be necessary in a face-to-face meeting. On the subject of documentation: it is excellent for documenting a wide variety of topics, from software architecture to product strategy decisions. And this always in the context of an agile working environment. miro is also super strong in the area of "workshops"; these can be conducted much more efficiently than would be the case offline, especially in somewhat larger groups. The collaboration possibilities are almost endless. We are 100% satisfied with miro and can recommend everyone to at least take a closer look at it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't listen to others, form your own opinion. The account is set up in seconds, then start working and convince yourself.
Brainstorming + Process Design without Borders
What do you like best about the product?
Miro's templates section has been beneficial to me, as I'm often there to get out of the confines of Excel when I'm working on something more conceptual or fluid, and the thought-starters there are really strong. I often start in their document library to get an idea moving, then evolve in an entirely different direction. It's a great break from day to day apps to get into some fresh head space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I lose things in the endless canvas, but zooming out or leveraging frames are straightforward fixes. Our team has had trouble staying logged in during group sessions, on occasion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We spent last year in Miro redesigning our business with a group of collaborators stretched across the country. Business planning feels natural there and the variety of formats has us communicate better across leadership without spending all of our time trying to land format ourselves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with their template library instead of a blank slate.
A complete whiteboard for remote teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time collaboration by all team members and discussion with keeping historical records intact
What do you dislike about the product?
The MIro app for windows. It crashes all the time and makes my system non-responsive. Also, the scale of work is not easily understood.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is primarily the software architectures, and team planning work is done using MIro. Miro gives us freedom, quickness, and visualization of all ideas.
Great for visual representation and collaborative goals!
What do you like best about the product?
I have always been a visual person, so discovering Miro has been amazing!
There are so many upsides of using Miro! Let me point out a few:
Collaboration: being able to create and edit by different people at a time is amazing.
Sticky notes: the wide variety of colors makes it really easy to create different steps, also the feature of changing the size in automatic
Review: I also love that you are able to check the changes made by anyone, so in case of a problem or mistake, you are able to know who did it and exactly when.
Templates: If you are not feeling that creative, you can just grab a template and start from there.
Board history: There is actually an option to check every change and edit made by anyone in the team.

The only two downsides that I can think of are:
The canvas size is really big, and at times I do a big zoom out and get lost on my frames.
The arrows shape get lost if you need to change the position, and although it can be changed by moving the white dots, the form of the arrow gets lost and looks weird, and then I'd rather adding a completely new arrow than modifying my existing one.

Now that I've discovered Miro, I'd rather use Miro than charts in Word! It has made all my presentations easier, with visual representations, now everyone fully understands my mind.
It is also incredible for collaborative brainstorming! We have been using it 3 to 4 people simultaneously and it never fails, it won't break or stop working. The changes are made instantly and I love that you can check out the users online experience and edits.
The comments features is also really helpful and one of a kind!

Great tool for small companies trying to collaborate remotely.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows for a pretty natural mind mapping space. We've been using it to run workshops with clients, capture notes on research, or just brainstorm internally. We've been really satisfied with it and it's becoming a big part of the way we design and run projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing access to Miro boards can be a little confusing. And organizing boards on our dashboard could be tighter. But these are really minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I mentioned above, Miro has become a great brainstorming tool for us. The different ways the boards can be used allow both for flexibility in facilitating exercises and simplicity in regards to just getting started and putting ideas down (even without a clear facilitating structure).
Loving Miro!
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of use but the comprehensiveness of the features and tools. The auto-connectors are a small but time-saving win.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some additional shapes that would be handy. Also, the facility to change the colours of all shapes would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm predominantly using Miro for process mapping and use-case creation/analysis. I'm much more productive, as I can do everything in one place.
Miro is the single most useful tool I have a deisnger. Simple visual collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
Not crashing with 10000 files on a board. It gets slow but I am amazed by what it can handel. It also does a good job at everything without feature bloat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough options for text formatting. I have to push it it to do things like make curvy lines with intersecting dots.(limited design tools)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote work. Period. It is a more ideal enviroment than a real white board
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it bruh.
Miro is an excellent tool for remote and in-person collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
The interactivity of using a board to collaborate with one another. Being able to see each other's cursors really helps with feeling engaged.
They provide a set number of templates to use that mean you can quickly put together a meeting plan in minutes if needed I.e. Retrospective, sprint planning.
I recently found out there's an app on ipad & mac which is great for using an apple pencil and quickly accessing files.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the zoom control can be a bit whacky. Where you feel like you're really zoomed in and actually you're at 150%, which means anything you create is out of scale..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We map our user journeys to clearly define to developers & designers what we expect a user to do when visiting a product. The integration with Adobe XD also really helps this as designers can export their designs directly into miro for developers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of the 'projects' to keep your boards organised.
