Flexible and powerful

What do you like best about the product?
There is a wealth of tools available but best of all are the pre-existing templates, many of which I find directly applicable to my work as a product manager. As a consultant, MIRO has been a very powerful tool to enable easy sharing of notes, conduct meetings and share co-created assets. Help is available however it's so easy to use that you can dive in without fear and get productive straight away!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features around visibility and sharing could be made easier to understand and use. Especially when it comes to sharing or handing over MIRO boards to people outside your organisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems solved are all centered around the ability to work with clients and colleagues remotely. The endless digital whiteboard that MIRO provides has proven invaluable and a true business enabler.

Making work from home feel like your in an actual team

  • February 01, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
Miro feels just like a real-life whiteboard in the sense that we can all work together at the same time. We all see each other's cursors so that we all see where we are in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some update problems on the PC application, from time to time a new release/revision of the software won't load my boards/starting page (SSO-login). It only goes to some screen sharing mode and wont't load my boards. The software will be like this for a few days until another release comes availble. During this time the web interface works fine eventhou not as good as the app. By using the web interface during app problems I have never experienced any down time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The pandemic forced us all to start working from home, and Miro filled a need for us. My regular office team can, by transferring the office whiteboard into Miro continue working as if we all were there. Miro can also function as a personal planner or to-do list. My role is to support different projects within in the company and since project plans tend to change over time, so do my tasks. By organizing tasks with post-its I can quickly move them around my personal planner to give me a visual picture of how my planned work is looking ahead of me. I really love the visual tool Miro gives me. It feels like there are no boundries in Miro, yes there is but Everything that you want to do, plan or visualize is possible. My organisation uses Microsoft Teams and there is an add-in for Miro in Teams which I love since it brings all my tool into one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I strongly recommend Miro as a collaboration tool for your organization. The instrument was brought to my organization as a business tool, and we started to use it head-on. During the pandemic and the need to connect teams globally or spread out over an area, this is gold. We can all work together in a collaborative environment.

Must have tool for every Researcher

What do you like best about the product?
From my student days as a designer to now leading a team of UX Researchers, I've always wanted an Infinite Canvas for ideas, concepts, presentations. I've used Miro ever since it was Realtime Board. I got my whole team at work using it! I love it because it is a highly Intuitive UI Ithat enables brainwriting and thinking as you are working. I can visualize and create on the go, even as soon as the kickoff meeting. It helps make complex ideas visual and simple to understand and explain. If I'm looking for inspiration, I go to the fantastic templates on MiroVerse. Easy customization to suit a range of projects from general team building to advance strategy and planning
Kudos for creating a tool with 'Just Enough' tools and features to foster collaboration with Design, Product, Management teams. I love the live reactions for team meetings!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would ask MIRO is the ability to create private boards within a team. There are times when I don't want anyone to access my board unless I wish; as soon as I create a board it appears in my entire team's list. Also want to attend the MIRO community meetings and trainings but they are always in some other tiezone from India.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've created Primary Research Presentations, User Journeys, done Heuristics Analysis, Customer Journey Maps, Created Sitemaps, Wireframes, Information Architecture of a B2C app on it.

We've even used it in out X-mas party to play Pictionary Remotely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This will be a go to tool for almost all roles in the Product Development teams

What do you like best about the product?
It is endless, the infinate zoom in helps when I can't forsee how to organize my boards, I can fit anything in it even after I am done. There is always space.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little hard to get used to. Not very guiding in the beginning. And yes there are tools but someone needs to show me how to get creative with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
coworking has become so much easier. being able to hide others peoples cursors is very nice.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Miro is the lifeblood of our organisation

  • January 28, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I wouldn't normally leave a review on a product, however Miro is genuinely the lifeblood of our organisation. Especially since remote working has become more common due to the pandemic. We needed a tool that did what we would typically do in person, sticking post-it notes on a wall. Miro allows us to do all of that and more, we use it internally and collaboratively with clients. We use it to store information, conduct retros, interactive workshops, draw things, conference schedules, you name it. The ease of use and speed for real time collaboration means anyone can get invovled easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main disadvantages would be when mass collaborating with a large amount of users on a large board. Sometimes miro can struggle with this aspect as the load is quite intense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We allow multiple internal/external people to collaborate in real-time, getting involved and access to meeting notes, archived documents, workshop facilitation, conference schedules and loads more.

Great experience

What do you like best about the product?
The integration with Jira is extremely beneficial providing the right balance of whiteboarding capabilities importing from Jira as well as creating new items on the board that can then be easily turned into Jira issues. Supports our Target Story Done and Story Mapping in a frictionless manner. Love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Have yet to run across anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a frictionless collaborative experience in support of User Story Mapping and Sprint Planning approach that integrates easily with our Backlog Management software Jira. The fact that we don't have to double key is awesome!

Empowers creation process, and helps to engage and collaborate with your teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The outstanding balance of simplicity with excellent support for advanced workflows. Miro is easy to start with when you need something simple like a blank piece of paper, yet complexity and teamwork is at hand if you need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some templates seem a bit underdeveloped. Mindmaps works excellent, but it would be good to simplify tools like flowcharts, concept maps, etc.
Also, why not have a default cover/preview area for each new board? I don't want to choose them manually each time, and in most cases, they are right in the middle of the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro for daily planning and feedback gathering from the team and customers. Often I have a separate Miro board opened for each important call or process in the company. It helps to keep everything well organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try.

The best I have ever used for project planning!

  • January 27, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy and intuitive. It was definitely designed to be used on multiple platforms. I can easily use it on my laptop, tablet or even smaller screens, like my smartphone.
It is an incredible platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is the only negative point of this tool. Not that the price is not fair, probably it is when we consider the dollar price for countries where it is the main currency.
But for me, living in South America, the final price (after exchange) is costly. That's why I have never upgraded it =/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, brainstorming, presentations, planning traffic campaigns, designing purchasing funnels. Everything I need I have there.
It is a well designed all-in-one solution.
