Great tool for Mental Maps

  • May 19, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The cloud environment, where I can access all my maps / boards from anywhere, and I can share with my colleagues and work together with them at the same time from different locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to have an offline tool. Sometimes, I need it. For example, working in customer sites with no network connectivity. Although is rare, I work in a hospital environment with secure access policies for external people so I rely on my mobile. And, near X-ray equipment and below-ground building (very typical in my customers), the mobile signal is not good enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Working together with customers or my team on defining a problem, a statement of work, or describing a process.
* I also use it for myself and make the skeleton of a complex presentation
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it. A really great tool

A great tool to prioritize and communicate tasks

  • May 19, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We are very happy for Miro in our international M&BI team. As we are several colleagues in four countries in Europe, Miro helps us coordinate, prioritize and communicate our tasks during a weekly team meeting. It is simple and has a good design.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can add an integrated option to build a strategy map within the system or to make it easier to find this option if it exists. The drawings could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We write down the tasks and communicate them weekly by sharing the screen with our colleagues. We also attached our own strategy map, which we made in another tool to it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
sdsdsdsdsds

Miro - excellent tool for projects & collaboration

  • May 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is helpful on many fronts, but to us it is an enabling tool for asynchronous work, facilitating workshops both small (2-10 people) and very large (100+ people), and as a visualization tool for presentations. There are numerous features that are in one place to make your life easier and it replaces many other individual tools that you would normally use, or even has connections to some other (like JIRA) for convenience during Sprint work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some loading issues associated with Miro (i.e. the tool would not load properly or at all when entering a board), especially if the board is quite large, busy and with a lot of individual pieces - this has been somewhat of an impact on us in organizing retrospective boards, and as a workaround, we have separated them into yearly boards, rather than one single board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to asynchronously plan out our Agile training sessions, projects or Big Room Planning level workshops, meaning that we are able to be more flexible and efficient with our time, as not every detail requires a separate meeting to align.

Infinite container for transparent ideas management

  • May 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Infinite board, not hanging like competitors when many objects added.
Remarkable tools for diagramming, UI wireframing in one set.
Collaboaration and sharing tools make work simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to navigate across frames list, wish it gad filter or search option.
UI wireframing tools to enhance:
- content generator - fill in ui controls, forms with dummy data.
- replace old ui controls library with the new one
- introduce styling for UI controls: bootstrap/ android/ ios etc
Diagramming:
- improve connections between lifelines in sequence diagram: it's hard to connect and move/resize elements.

Infrastructure:
- implement standalone offline version. Not possible for some clients to store sensitive information in cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create and Refine requirements with stakeholders. The entire project is on tHe board, so it is easy to remind on anything, check dependencies.

Easy to initiate a new product/project (discovery). Mindmapping, diagramming, note taking - all is on place helping to focus on the topic and not be distracted by switching between tools.

AlfaInsurance experience with miro

  • May 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to build any visual representation
wireframe + connection + shape + frame + undo
figma and some kind conf call tool
miro is so good that there is no desire to think about competitors
What do you dislike about the product?
there is no way to see exactly where the rejection of changes (UNDO function) occurs. the screen just stays at its current position, and the change is rolled back to a completely different part of the board. try do UNDO in google docs & see how they commit it.
+ there is no way to see changes in element you edit if you are in like 10% zoom. see https://disk.yandex.ru/d/GJEgRJxEWYqlWw .
+ there are big problems with understanding chain in projects + teams + permissions. it would be cool to see what could see & do any member with teams & projects
+ if you have more than 15 projects = very easy to lose sight of the board upload tool (better place it near create function)
+ it is clear problem with cookies or something cause i receive same survey like NPS | CSAT | many times.. check how it works with QA
+ there is no way to remove element is you: copy a combination of a picture + some cards from desktop app from one account → paste it to second other account in web ver. try it as describe
+ when the board is just loading - make it possible to immediately go to the dashboard instead of waiting for the page header to load
+ check for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
visualization in miro solves the problem of synchronizing disparate departments about how the product will look and work. product design productivity is greatly increased, yes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
just try and not look for another process visualization tool =)

An excellent tool for collaboration and whitboarding

  • May 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple and intuitive it is. I was introduced to Miro by a colleague who told me about the cool integration it has with Figma.
With a simple plugin called Figmiro, you can sync frames from Figma straight to Miro. This makes documentation so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the mouse gestures, which sometimes can be annoying. It is not a big deal; I still feel like the developers and UX designers at Miro are doing a great job, and as a fellow UX designer, I can see the effort and love they invest in this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly User flows documentation and whiteboarding sessions. Miro has an easy flow chart feature where the arrows snap easily to objects in a pleasant manner. In addition, it has a nice wireframing feature which makes wireframing quick and easy.

The best tool for workshops, facilitating and mapping your thoughts

  • May 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a powerful tool, offering a lot of different options. By far the best feature is the user interaction pattern. In comparison to other tools, it is easy to use and light even though it is packed with features. It is fast, does not get cluttered with a lot of images and frames and enables me to guide teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
One wish from my side would be the option to add general styles for headings and color to make the boards more pretty. There are a lot of options to style your boards, better than the competition, but it could be even better, like in Figma.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use miro for coaching workshops, mapping thoughts and my meetings. It helps me to really quickly structure sessions and compile inputs from papers, websites, .pdfs and images. Currently I rather work in miro than on a whiteboard,

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is incredibly useful to me, and to my agency. We use it all the time, and its an essential part of our productivity stackk.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fonts could be better. Sometimes the zooming in and out is a bad user experience, but only occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for all of our important visuals. Benefit is beautiful design, with clarity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, it's great.
