Great for making many complex thoughts visually vivid
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Miro is that you have the possibility to put all your thoughts on the board without restrictions and then illustrate them. It's great for sharing thoughts with colleagues, organising them and making them more visual. Miro is a great tool for turning small brainstorming sessions into big projects and bringing them to life through the many visual possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, I find it difficult to work on a Miroboard when you only have a small screen or laptop available. Miro really shows its potential on a large screen and a good office setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of working remotely with colleagues. You can collaborate with colleagues regardless of your location and work on a whiteboard. Miro also offers the possibility to make your thoughts understood.
Loving Miro!
What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative concept is my favorite part. I have been using Miro for the past year and a half and the experience has always been incredible. It helped my team to connect and to share ideas, feedback, and much more. We do our retrospectives in Miro. It has a theme and the team really enjoys it! Which, in hindsight, it is not that common for a retro to be the favorite meeting in a sprint. Well, it's not common, but we did it with great help from Miro!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can honestly say there isn't a thing I dislike about Miro. I can say that it should be obvious how people are using it. Not every single dynamic, meeting, and occasion needs a collaborative board. Use it well so people can enjoy it and see the benefits. All meeting minutes in Miro? Fine, but lock it. Or print it as a PDF and document it. Presentations? Make sure people have access, but sometimes slides are best for online calls. Just think before overusing it so it does not kill the magic and benefits of the tool. I've seen people getting frustrated because they MUST use Miro without the proper intent and I have "converted" some "disbelievers" just by pointing out we have to use the best tool for that moment and not use the tool every moment. I vouch for Miro. Always!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The remote working status. I genuinely believe I'm a WFH adept and don't plan on changing that status anytime soon. Miro helps me connect to my team in all parts of the world (believe me, timezone math is a much pressing issue than how to share screens) and gives them freedom and access to information in real-time. It's incredible how we can connect through our boards and how easy it is to create a whole platform for the team to engage. At first, I was in awe and after a couple of days of learning a little bit more about Miro, and getting more comfortable with it, I can say I'm planning to use it with all my projects, at work, and in my personal life (this year I'm planning a x-mas board with my family where we are going to do some virtual games with those that cannot attend the family reunion in person). Just, you know, engaging...
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. Miro Academy is great! Be creative. Do not overuse it. Engage.
Excellent and simple app to create wireframes with a team of designers
What do you like best about the product?
One of the features I like best about using InVision is being able to work on a project simultaneously with a team of designers. Brainstorming and building prototypes has never been this fast and easy! Cross Collaboration is a game-changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more Advanced team management & security features were available in the free and pro versions of the software. Some small organizations could benefit greatly from some of these features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Freehand has solved issues when it comes to cross-collaboration. In this day and age, designers need to be able to work on a single project simultaneously without worrying about who has the file open or worrying about sync issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try using InVision through Microsoft Teams, the experience is magical!
Simple, easy, and well-organized
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is usually my first choice when I need to conduct research or generate ideas. There's a great deal of area for ideas, and it's pretty simple to use. I enjoy the functionality of Miro and the templates and possibilities it provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet encountered anything I dislike. I appreciate that there are regular updates, suggested boards, and an online support team. Observing how other organizations utilize the boards helps me generate new ideas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design challenges. Miro is an excellent tool for generating and exchanging ideas with others. It is also a location for saving and storing information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take any project you're working on, even one that's giving you difficulties, and use Miro's wonderful features to solve it. Just give it a shot and allow your thoughts to flow.
Great for strategizing!
What do you like best about the product?
The great templates are the most helpful. They are the best way to start a brainstorming or collaboration project. No other tools are needed - it stands alone. Plus it's easy to export images.
What do you dislike about the product?
The arrows and shapes sometimes snap to each other in unexpected ways. Also sometimes it generates arrows or adds shapes unexpectedly, or otherwise takes unexpected actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming and strategizing for a completely remote group across multiple timezones. It has increased our productivity when planning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Miro for teams collaborating remotely.
Essential tool for any consultancy business
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is by far the most useful whiteboarding tool I've ever tried and I adore its abilities to visually share ideas and generate personal boards for my customers
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to organize boards in Miro is still quite rudimentary and when you are above 200+ boards it is easy to get lost. I would love to have the ability to drag and drop boards between projects to organize them, mark them with tags and icons, and so on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am running a small startup and we do all our brainstorms in Miro. We also create a personal board for every customer and work together on their cases there. We also make good use of included templates and presentation mode (I no longer create slide decks elsewhere).
The enabler tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is constantly being reviewed, the dev team seems to be always listening to our feedbacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The actual position of the timer isn´t good even on fullscreen mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love how people learn fast and star faster interaction with others.
Efficient way to showcase user journeys to stakeholders
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive tools and ability to build out quick user journeys.
What do you dislike about the product?
More room to leave notes on components when others are left to review on their own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Showcasing my thought process in a very visual way that other's can understand and interpret. I've realized that most people need visual support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom when presenting (on shared screen)
After I met Miro, I just couldn't live without it.

Team work simplified
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create together is great, all of our teammates are working together on the same project, seeing each others actions and cursors!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to be on a zoom call together as a group, while working on miro to communicate as well. If we could have a feature wherein we could also be online on miro and talk to each other, that would really benefit the productivity. In addition to that if there would be an add-on or plugin like SketchUp, then it would be really good for architects and planners. Wherein we could design together, now we only think of design together but design individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems are just some small bugs, when it goes offline for some time, it lags for some time. But, i think with the current frequency of updates, this will get resolved soon.
