Great Creative Collaborative tool! Only some observations about B2B sales
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is amazing, so intuitive and user friendly.
The variety of templates, style and user cases where we can use Miro is remarkable. Specially for creative processes, brainstorming and design thinking. Algo is a great tool for Agile teams, democratising voting, enhacing collaboration, even playing some music in the background!

What do you dislike about the product?
During the reach out phase to explore B2B scenarios with Miro (meaning inquiring which package would serve us better: teams, business, enterprise), we didn't feel listened through the conversation process, the sales person had a "disinterested " attitude towards our NGO.
I suggest to give the same level of respect and attention to every type of client, no matter how big or small it is. I will be happy to see the same grade of excellence and quality experience in both: the Miro tool and the negotiation process with the Miro's team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it mostly for innovation and product development purposes. Enhancing creative and visual thinking in our teams, facilitating collaborative problem solving, communication and exchange of ideas
Efficient! (Specially on a large number of layouts to share collaboratively)
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy and no-brainer access on how you could use this software. You can use this software conveniently even tho you just met it for the first time! In just a two or a click, you can upload your works or comment to a work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, this software is like a free wide board, so if you put a lot of elements, it would take minutes to load all your stuff completely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, this could be the answer to have fast and easy communication if you're working collaboratively or if you'll be showing your works for review. It also can help the viewer be intricate in reviewing your things as they see the overall impact and image of your work.
Good for creating user flows and flow charts
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is so Awesome! It is so easy to collaborate with team members and cost-efficient. It offers so many features which are fully customizable. Few things I like the best are:
1. The facilitators can bring everyone to the same place with just one click. Given that miro offers a pretty huge board, it's normal for the team members to wander around. This feature makes it so much easier
2.Provides a user-friendly interface and great user experience when you want to create a new board or flowcharts. It also offers pre-defined templates like a kanban board, mind mapping, quick retros.
3. Can create multiple workspaces and the onboarding access is so simple and intuitive.
4. It really does not need any technical skills to use this platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the export option to PDF and word documents does not work but it's not necessary to import every time.
It would be really good if miro introduces the paint feature and tools for creating simple wireframes.
It can have few other collaborative tools integrated like slack, teams etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. I am getting very intuitive insights from the miro app with the upgraded version. I am able to make business decisions in an easier way.
2. I am able to collaborate with other tools like Google Images and icon finder which makes it easier to import other images.
3. This has ownership rights which makes it easier to collaborate with other external team members if I have to give them the "Only-View" option.
4. So easy to add connectors, sticky notes, frames which are helpful in making my sketch look neat.
5. There is an option for writing a "note" or "to-do" list.

Intuitive and easy to use; although to make the most out of it, one needs some tips and coaches

What do you dislike about the product?
The only annoying part is the fact that in the online free plan you can only use and create 3 boards.

Many problems:
The first is how to grafphically show flows, I found Miro a perfect tool to show graphically a webapp (app) flow.

Great for collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's a powerful way to have real-time collaboration with colleagues in a remote setting! We are a fully remote company, and having Miro allows us to simulate whiteboarding and helps us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that it was easier to align shapes, lines, etc. They don't consistently show when items are lining up, and if you are using a line, it can be challenging to see if it's straight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving real-time collaboration issues, particularly when we need to brainstorm, ideate, or be more creative. We also use it to help map out plans, lean canvases, flows, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say to go through some of the tutorials at the beginning to get a good sense of how to navigate the product. Then check out the templates! They have been really useful for me in getting started on boards. Also, when using Miro for the first time, be sure to leave time at the beginning of any session to make sure everyone can get in, knows how to use the functions, etc.
Not a perfect product, but powerful and continuously improved!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is highly versatile and powerful in terms of features - it is perfect for product management. What really impresses me is, that Miro constantly takes user feedback into consideration and works hard on adding value. I have been using this tool since 2017, when it was still realtimeboard and it has improved A LOT! Also the customer support has always been extremely nice and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of usability issues in handling of on board elements (esp. post it's, tags & arrows). Unfortunately Miro does not yet handle very big (a lot of elements) boards very well. It tends to be somewhat slow and laggy at times. Also, if you decide to scale things to different sizes usually it is not very easy to keep the same shape. Tables and graphs are a little too basic in my opinion. The color system should be widened and based on hex colors to personalize properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User Research (interviews notes, task modelling, proof of concept testing, affinity mapping etc.), Road Mapping (a lot of great templates!), Prototyping (sufficient libraries for most basic purposes), Workshops (interactive and exclusive organization is really easy like this and a lot of tools and templates make it fun, fun, fun!) - It is remarkable, how for a product manager you can use Miro for so many things! I is one of my favorite tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time to explore and keep discovering Miro has tons of gems to offer! And really consider to use the desktop version - it runs much faster and is way more stable!
Great Experience using Miro
What do you like best about the product?
The best of Miro is the freedom that you have to organize your things. Also, all the templates that you have, all the tools are handy.
I like all the tools for colaborating like share access to a board, presenting, or even follow someone on your team.
I like all the tools for colaborating like share access to a board, presenting, or even follow someone on your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think something that it can improve is that you don't have a scale of sizes, like what's the right size for a presentation or for any activity. Also something that I think is missing is status of things, I mean you have the cards but they have a lot of information, and if you need something like a check, it could be a good thing have a button or something like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The process of start designing, doing mood boards or looking for references. The communication of everyone I think is really good, the way you can share things, or doing a sketch is really easy.
Tonic for a 'virtual' business world
What do you like best about the product?
The infinite canvas is great for people who just want to get stuck into a project. The vector based graphics allow for almost infinite zooming. The keyboard shortcuts are very useful to get ideas and concepts down quickly and the large number of templates make it easy to build on other frameworks. Its a must for visual thinkers. The smartphone app is quite usable also. Integrations with Monday.com and other CRM software make this easy to fold into existing workflows. Miro is the best tool I have found for collaborative outlining, whiteboarding and most importantly, visually explaining projects and concepts. It allows everyone in virtual meetings to get to the same page quickly and makes focusing on stuff easier. The real-time collaboration and input features are very well implemented and executed and the various input types allows me to understand which visual method resonates best with certain staff and/or clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the mindmapping feature should be fleshed out. We don't use this aspect much because you cannot hide branches etc. What could initially be perceived as a downside is the "yet another digital tool to learn how to use" argument. However, the pros here outweigh the cons on this. Getting others on board with tools will always have challenges. Other than that, there is very little to complain about here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves a core issue which is getting everyone focused on the same stuff. A lot of staff are visual thinkers and miro is directly replacing our office whiteboards, post-its etc in a virtual capacity. The infinite canvas allows to to quickly build out projects, or copy these en-masse to new boards. The key benefit here for us is the way a tool like Miro can break down complex project items to simpler next steps from which we build our actions list. Its 'open' structure means you have a lot of control over how you visualse work. This is important for the afformentioned visual thinkers amongst us. Once we have something presented in a way which resonates at staff or board meetings, we make this a template. Its really that simple. great!
Fantastic tool to on-line collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the simple way to create content and interact with teams of professionals. It allows you to make very good schematics, diagrams to structure complex systems. You can create many types of tasks and activities to collect and share ideas from many professionals to move forward together. Being a huge blank slate, you can design everything you need on it. The templates are also very good, canvas, schedules. It may seem silly, but the timer is very useful when you have many people distributed, working at the same board, but communicating by video call, divided into smaller rooms.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working with many people at the same time, I find it difficult to prevent other, less experienced members from unlocking and moving items on the board. I miss being able to block content, that only the creator of the board can unlock.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to move our annual strategic planning process, super-fast, online. The results we obtained, despite the improvisation, were rated by the participants as excellent (none of us knew the tool and we learned to use it very easily). It is also very easy to extract evidence of the work that is done in miro, to have information, to remember and review next year.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro has been a great discovery for our organization :) It has been key to addressing the change to online management of some of the most critical activities in our organization's leadership. After the Covid, I do not doubt that we will continue to use it to share knowledge, gather ideas, and collaborate between teams.
I recommend that you try it in the free version, you will quickly realize its value, and you will want the paid version ;)
