Great collaborative environment to make your design happen
What do you like best about the product?
As with the product team, it provides a joint, collaborative working environment for us to create WireFrame designs, sequence diagrams, and so on. Also, it allows us to work together online while we are away from each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
While you are willing to edit text, it does not give you a good tool makes all adjustments you expect. This should be more eloborative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a platform to create our diagrams and also to work on them at the same time, the Miro saved us, especially in the pandemic environment.
Trying to incorporate Miro in class lectures...
What do you like best about the product?
Instead of the linear presentation of slides, Miro enables me to display ideas next to one another in a nonlinear manner that better illustrates the complexities and multi-layered nature of what we are discussing. I can even start in the center of a board and work outward toward the edges. I am still trying to figure out how to do this with post-its and images (jpegs), short animiations, and short film clips.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's taking me time to learn Miro and, with my schedule, I keep having to set it aside until I have time, which is usually months later, and I have to re-teach myself each time I start back up. I had hope to be using Miro in the classrooms by now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to display ideas and topics in our discussion nonlinearly solves the problem of flipping back and forth between slides. Miro allows me to leave each concept (picture and/or post-it with text) posted on our board so, as the class discussion progresses, the students can see how the topics expand. They are encouraged to see how ideas develop, building upon one another and how they might connect and relate to one another.
Flexible, time saving and clever
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and flexibility for creating various graphics and the natural feel when collaborating with others online.
What do you dislike about the product?
While not complicated, Miro is different enough from conventional applications that it often didn't/doesn't feel intuitive. Some more contextual help would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming with remote colleagues. Mapping processes and project structures.
We save a lot of time because Miro doesn't require the usual "clean up" after a session to make a brainstorming or other activity legible and understandable. We also just save a lot of time due to the ease of creating and modifying the graphics - it's just easier and faster than conventional applications.

Asynchronous access allows flexible contributions at a time that suits everyone
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to get started for novice users and the voting features and post-its allow even normally quiet contributors (and those who can't make the live session) have their say
What do you dislike about the product?
the in-built videoconference function had a limit on how many participant faces you could see at once, but they've addressed this by integrating with Zoom
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
being able to do public and patient involvement and engagement virtually when COVID interrupted face-to-face gatherings

Not just a collaboration its a visual collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The breadth of functionalities that Miro has is the most prominent thing about it. We greatly enjoy its inbuilt chatting, video calling, and real-time visual collaboration features that aids to the overall productivity of each of our team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Miro consists of many features and functionalities, getting started can be cumbersome for first-time users with little or zero knowledge about how this tool works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The whole experience with Miro has been outstanding. We mainly started using it during the pandemic for better productivity even while working online, and it is undoubtedly a tremendous visual collaboration tool. We certainly feel that Miro is the most effective tool for visual creativity, project planning, and strategic vision.
Best collaborative platform out there
What do you like best about the product?
It's best for collaboration, no where else has the ease of use and practical tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be slow, and struggle to load boards with lots of material on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro often takes the place of real world collaboration as we cannot be in person in the current moment, and while nothing can replace the organicness of in person communication, Miro does a great job at replacing physical paper and space. It might even have an edge on the real world because it's perfect for saving collaborative work, sharing work you've done individually before a meeting and organising these outputs...all of which are impossible IRL.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stay organised, a Miro Board can get filled quickly and can become messy!
It boosts creativity & productivity among remote teams
What do you like best about the product?
The most beautiful feature of Miro is the ability to collaborate in real-time while we work virtually through using its live chats and audio calls features. Besides, what's more, powerful is that we can do many operations through Miro, such as concept maps, creativity, and program workflow modeling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro would be much better if it had a note-taking capability. Instead of having to open an additional note-taking app every time, I'd want to have a place where I can write down notes on items that don't appear while I'm sharing my screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To summarize, our team has significantly benefitted from the use of Miro, which has resulted in improved cooperation and increased productivity, particularly in the area of business process management.
PERFECT FOR COLLABORATION AND PLANNING
What do you like best about the product?
Great way to collaborate on a large board, reducing the usage of papers and whiteboards.
Using it for Agile planning, we can easily plan a whole semester in it with detail in every sprint
The huge workspace with multiple users interacting at the same time is a must-have in this tool.
Being able to duplicate a board for the next planning iteration eases things immensely
Being able to extract the board to Jira or CSV file is terrific for flexibility
Having the ability to share screen from within the app and chat with others is a very nice addition
Also, have a voting system that eases the story point vote
Basically a life savior especially for work from home planning.
Most of the navigation and zooming are similar to photoshop making it super easy to pick up and start using
Using the app in web browser or downloaded tool have a very similar experience so it is very easy to pick up and start using.

What do you dislike about the product?
Since editing requires a license per user, it is not the best tool to use it as a scrum board; we usually extract the plan to Jira and use it from there.
Other than that, I found nothing to dislike

Very useful tool
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Teams, plenty of templates and ways in which to customise the layout. Embedding documents, webpages and media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Embedded documents do not always load quickly so browsing PDFs can be time-consuming. Miro is a useful way to group files etc, but not as an easy to access repository.
Diagrams can quickly become dominated by graphics rather than information; diagrams such as mindmaps/concept maps are not always efficent in use of space. When working in a collaborative environment it is easy for boards to become cluttered e.g. post-its of different colours, sizes and fonts (a manner to restrict which shapes are available in a shared board would be useful)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used for group work preparation e.g. to group, align and prioritise document resources (This works better visually than a shared directory)
Used in group discussions - gives all participants an opportunity to have an input (unlike face to face meetings where it is possible for 1 or 2 people to dominate discussion)

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Prepare a layout for all board users to adhere to.
Be firm about which shapes/templates can be used (e.g. post-its or comments) by users of a shared board.

1. When multiple people are working on one common template, the template gets stuck and lags.
2. Few plugins like Figma don't work at all.
3. No option to create your own templates.
