What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming, presentation of concepts, concept maps, flowcharts

Using Miro is an amazing tool to brainstorm ideas collaboratively when everyone is working remote.

What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful is seeing everyone working on the board, and seeing what they do.
I like the post it note feature the best for quick ways to comment on certain bits of information
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how sometimes if you don't lock certain things on the board, when people move around they move the items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coming up with certain ideas to launch new experiment tests within marketing.

What do you like best about the product?
I started a skeptic - oh god, another laggy fake whiteboard. Can say without doubt that this is my favourite tool adopted by our team during pandemic. My favourite feature is the fact that I can copy templates from other parts of my company - so if we are working on a bit of marketing, I will steal a storyboard from PR team, but when we are working out how to explain products to our partners, I head over to the roadmaps created by engineers for a template. It just gets something down on paper, so I can start planning the workshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am the person in the group who clicks on the 'blocker' faded out square thing, and deletes it. Never been sure why they are there, never worked out how to avoid ruining them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross team collaboration without being f2f. If there was the slightest lack of intuitive UI, or it lagged, or it was ugly, or it made my laptop fans take off - it wouldn't stick.

Fantastic tool for the remote working world

What do you like best about the product?
Great for retrospectives and very quick and easy to spin up templates
It can have many people working on the same board at any one time
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have private note-taking for facilitators
Slows machine down quite a lot if multiple Miro boards open or many people looking at the same board
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team retrospectives for improving our sprint efficiency and igniting discussions

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite part is the seemingly infinite drawing board, how everything scales up and down completely effortlessly. As a fairly mediocre web developer myself, I'm flabbergasted at how you've been able to do half of this stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many people have gripes about performance, but I think that's a bit overblown; it tends only to pop up once we've thoroughly abused a board with a ludicrous amount of content.

My main problem is less about Miro as a tool and more about how it tends to be used for far too many things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running remote meetings. It's very helpful to have a collaborative note-taking surface.

Sometimes people disregard the fact that we can all see the same board, and opt to share their screen, but that's a user issue.

Miro - The best visual whiteboard

What do you like best about the product?
The interactive tools and elements allow collaborators to work together. Miro as a tool allows for all members of the team to offer a creative and unique outlook on all ideas and makes sharing sessions amazing. The built-in timer as well as all the other tools and creative offerings make it a totally fun and unique experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a tad tricky to navigate if not on a pro plan
The zoom feature needs to be a bit more promptly displayed as it can be sometimes hard to navigate within aboard
Maybe more a variety on colours and post it options
It can be hard for new people to get started as there are so many functions and options to work throughs
Sometimes the image previews don't load properly and can be very difficult to work out what board corresponds to what issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working through projects more succinctly and allowing for amazing workshops.
Allowing a more streamlined take when introducing new processes and ideas
It's allowed us to be a bit more visual with projects and problem-solving
Time management issues are a thing of the past as everyone is always given full transparency and can contribute on the boards
Allow for integration of videos to make things a bit more prominent
Flows and mindmaps are easier to navigate through and better for the team to work through
Team working!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do research into the offerings and look at the plans available

Fast and simple way to collaborate remotely

  • October 07, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has made it seamless to operate entirely remotely for the past year and a half - I can work with the team in real-time, see and share ideas and it's easy to organise anything from a flow chart to warm up games.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Miro can be a little glitchy due to how many people are interacting with it at once - most often this is the music re-starting or not stopping, and the 'purple' highlighting of the entire board/page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It let's the team collaborate in real-time as if we were in the office together, remotely - it's a simple visual tool and easy to use for sharing ideas and notes or brainstorming together without having to be in an office with a whiteboard.

Once you get into it, it's amazing!

What do you like best about the product?
Miro encourages creative thinking. It's flexibility helps with this and also it's fantastic for collaborative team work.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first I was very confused about which board I was on / how to find a board etc. Also, it gave me a headache to be in group work boards until I realised you can hide everyones arrows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Loads! We use it for sprint work, coming up with lots of ideas quickly and assessing which ideas work.
It's great for sharing the logic/work process behind what we're doing.
We use it for team updates and sharing thoughts about things.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with it. Once you learn certain short cuts it becomes a pleasure to use.

Miro is our creative collaboration hero

  • October 07, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
I knew about Miro during the business incubation process for our startup, and during that process, we were able to draft a large number of mindmaps, concepts, thought techniques (including brainstorming), and strategies even though we were participating in the session virtually. In addition to using text and photos, this application allows us to draw on its canvas using a marker, much like we would if we were using a traditional whiteboard directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though it lets the user draw things, it is not on that nuanced perspective to fit designers' needs. It is also not available cross-platform; for instance, Linux users cannot access its desktop version. Additionally, its mobile version is almost useless in terms of usability due to its small screen size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can all work together on a single Miro digital whiteboard to brainstorm, create business procedures, and even talk in real-time as if we were in the same room. Its prebuilt templates have always made our work process efficient. But, Miro is sometimes vague due to its unnecessary features; they should improve their knowledge base and get started guide.

What do you like best about the product?
Very useful when planning with the team, especially the voting feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some time to load the boards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning with the team became very easy with the number of features at our disposal. Ever since the pandemic and working at home, we depend a lot on Miro to properly communicate and lay down our plans for the future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It dramatically increases productivity, especially during work at home.
