Miro Review
What do you like best about the product?
Ease to build all kinds of boards, especially the agile-style ones by using the templates. Being able to brainstorm or contribute within the same board with peers
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro sometimes proves to be tricky to use with the trackpad. Using shift and the selector can sometimes not pick up all the needed items on the board. It would also be great to have more templates for software development purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving problems like team brainstorming sessions, as well as workflows for internal developments. The biggest benefits comes from the ability for the whole team to contribute at the same time without overlapping.
A nice way to change your powerpoint presentations and to do some basic planning together easily
What do you like best about the product?
I like the scalability of Miro, that you can have seamlessly infinite amount of things cramped in one board. I don't use any tools with this. As I've said, it's a great alternative for powerpoint
What do you dislike about the product?
The same scalability is a bit off point sometimes. I've heard some negative replies that it's difficult to properly adjust the size and size the things the way you want to, but that's what I head, don't have anything personally to share
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're pretty much doing everything that requires more than one person to do in cooperation. For example, evaluate things with poker cards, have a whiteboard that everyone sees in real time.
Very flexible collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Great networking and virtual collaboration tools with a large template library to get you started right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the ways to manipulate the canvas are not totally intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use to brainstorm new ideas, to outline a marketing plan, sketch new website wireframes and many other uses.
Boards to organize your information
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an ideal information organizer for collaborative teams, but also for organizing yourself. It has a very extensive number of templates that help you decide how to display the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has a free version that allows up to 3 boards maximum. To achieve unlimited boards, yes or yes you have to pay a sum that is paid per member. Some sites of the competition allow up to 5 boards in their free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped us to collaborate between areas, organizing the information in a more visual way, allowing everyone involved to participate. It is used for any work area, from the strategic preparation of a Marketing campaign, to the design of wireframes for apps.
A very handy tool for easy project management and idea collections
What do you like best about the product?
I really like to see the process of multiple people working together at once on a task, often when doing classical mind mapping.
The changes and implementations of all peers are shown in real time. Perfect if you want to collect ideas together in the team and design an overview with all considerations that you can think of.
Recently I also found out that excel cells can be copied into a miro board as well and automatically generate new post its. I also like that you can use it right away as it is so intuitive.

mind mapping, collecting ideas, creating action plans
Great Product to Visualise Ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it really easy to get all of my ideas out and onto a board. The templates from Miro and others have healped me facilitate meetings and learn more about product management process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often drag elements around the page and resize them when I am just trying to navigate the page. I guess this is just down to learning and getting used to the interface though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Miro for blue-sky thinking a lot. I have also used the user journey mapping template to figure out features that users really need. Our team has used miro to document a system review. It has been a good tool for many team members to collaborate in real-time and share ideas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Since moving into product management/UX design, I have been surprised at the number of professionals and organizations using MIro to collaborate. It has helped to collaborate with partners outside of our organisation.
Very easy to use and complete digital whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
Our team brainstorms a lot. The collaborative features are a must. Being able to track the presenter's movement is truly useful. There are a variety of templates to help kick start the sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't found missing features or issues. I'm not yet familiarised with shortcuts so I would say the copy/paste of existing forms is not the simplest I've seen (if I compare with the command+shift options in powerpoint for example).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro to map workflows, brainstorm, and create mind maps. Miro truly helps with collaboration, and everyone can participate without having to voice ideas over.
Helpful solution for someone who needs to whiteboard - esp during a pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and ability to visualise, whiteboard and collaborate while working remotely during the pandemic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to copy tables from Miro into Excel files
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualising solutions to problems, brainstorming new ideas and initiatives, and giving people a single landing page (instead of a folder of files)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a super-user on your team to help you get the most from the tool.
Intuitive collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has many templates and building blocks that allow you to find what you need for any given task visual task.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you start out with a free trial, any board you create is pretty much held hostage until you upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use miro's mind map. Allows me to spread my thoughts out like a spider web.
Beatifully simple
What do you like best about the product?
I am a qualitative researcher and have been using post its for decades. Miro have taken this concept and made it really simple to collaborate online in an unstructured/structured way. I also like the integration with Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. Nothing is missing that I've noticed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running workshops online, and running breakout rooms online for online focus groups. During Covid we were forced to find an online alternative, now that everyone is used it, I think we will continue to work this way.
