Collaborative Powerhouse with Room for UI Consistency

  • January 19, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for collaborative workshops and trainings. I appreciate that Miro supports multiple users in a shared space and is always open, allowing work at any time. I like the design and how quickly it can be used and understood by non-regular users. The Miro Academy and community are also aspects I enjoy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there are too many changes and tools, which can be overwhelming. The design of the platform changes too quickly, and the positioning of the tools is sometimes difficult to find or are duplicated in different positions. Now, it's more complicated for a new user to understand the whole use of the platform as it has become more business-oriented and less facilitation-oriented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro supports multiple participants in a shared space for collaborative workshops and trainings. It's always open for work at any time, enhancing flexibility.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
try it as a free user so you can decide if pay a license for a year

Great tool for remote collaboration

  • January 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Miro facilitates remote meetings and helps our team to improve their effectiveness. Specifically, I found brainstorming sessions with simple post-its very useful, also I like working on the product pipeline by creating custom boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say as the tool is really great. Maybe one thing - sometimes it's a bit difficult to learn Miro for people that aren't familiar with the tool as it has many different features. On the other hand, once you get used to it you will never quit the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many, to list some:
1. Brainstorming while the team is working remotely.
2. Quarterly prioritization.
3. Creating customers' flows.
4. Mapping out product ideas and customers' problems.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to put, display and share whatever you want, with no frame limitations
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing for the moment. Probably there are functionalities not known yet for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration, reporting, transparency. We were getting this benefit at team level, area, department, and also direction. Benefits at all levels have been identified. Performance has not improved for the moment.

An almost perfect digital board tool

  • January 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I didn't use this tool until my actual job presented it to me, and now I can't imagine not using it daily. It's an excellent tool for many purposes: share presentations, do workshops remotely, use it as a canvas to organize your ideas, or just as a board to paste your images. Presenting with Miro is a great experience, if you know your participants are not very good with the tool or have never used it you can force them to follow you along while you present, which helps with error prevention. Most features are very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a perfect tool, but it will be. And I'm sure they are trying hard to be the best; from my experience, I know there is a lot of research with their user database to improve. Their video feature needs work. Their new features like clustering and smart meetings still feel like a work in progress, but great features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize my ideas by mind mapping them. Create user stories. And the community has excellent templates for different needs, especially workshops. Collaborating and sharing in real time with coworkers is very easy as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If it is for a Workshop, always do a test before your meeting. I often discover some unusual behavior or things not working flawlessly, like the video feature or someone getting locked in an element using smart meetings. Just be sure to test your presentation with the same scenario and criteria to ensure everything works.

Life saver during our working from home period.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has helped us facilitate workshops, structure meetings, alignment between teams, etc! We use it as a safe space for our team to drop whatever we have in our mind. I'm part of the user research team and we use the tool to analyse our insights. I haven't used any other tool so I can't compare.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes get lost how to work around in Miro. What buttons to press, etc. Maybe I'm not super tech savvy, but sometimes I accidentally move an entire box, delete something, etc. Also get confused when I want to scroll or zoom out, instead of clicking on something. But I'd say that's more me being clumsy ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly: collaboration!!! Especially when we had to work from home. I think we gain time by using Miro and we're a lot more efficient. Before COVID we were using sticky notes on white boards, taking pictures and saving that. Now with Miro, we have everything digitally and we're able to come back to it. We're a lot more structured.

Great groupwork experience

  • January 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its an easy-to-use platform. Very friendly and easy to learn. It has a lot of templates and different ways to present and arrange the information you are working on. When you work online with other people, you can see what they are doing in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools look alike. Sometimes I confused the text tool with the sticker tool and so on. I have found difficulties in order to share the link with my coworkers so MIRO could improve that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for two main purposes: one as a teacher. In my classes, I rely a lot on group discussions, and MIRO is an excellent solution to manage the online debates in real-time classes. I have also used it with my coworkers to plan projects and discuss some ideas to solve work problems.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy handling of frames and availaability of wide range of templates. It is easy to use and load faster than some of the competitors. Overall it's a good tool for remote collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the App keeps on logging out once in a while. When I use the webpage I am not seeing this issue. If I use the app,i have to login 5 to 6 times per day which is practically annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better Collaboration with remote teams
Better visualisation of issues and ideas
Helpful in Planning

Best cooperation and meeting facilitation tool

  • January 14, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use,
have guest mode (no need to spend time creating accounts for everyone)
Great "Bring everyone to me" button, which helps to focus everyone's attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, everything is good. Just one thing, the account panel is hard to use, especially for a new user. Didn't know where to go and what to do.
Also, not clear why it's mandatory to create or join a team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cooperation with colleagues during remote work. Virtual Workshops and planings. Plans and product structure sharing and organizing together with the team.
Mentioned benefits above.
