Great for organizing your workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The special feature of Miro is that it allows you to work in multiple ways, organizing the entire workflow with your team: from the creation of diagrams for information architecture, to whiteboards, to the assignment of tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first the interface may not be immediate, precisely because it has many functions. For the free versions it is only possible to download low resolution files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro as a UI / Ux designer, especially to organize my work and to create information architectures and customer journey maps. It greatly favors agile work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is an excellent platform for managing and organizing your work and that of your team, thanks to mind maps, whiteboards and a series of collaborative tools that simplify the flow. One of the best of its kind.
Great collaboration tool, some limitations
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility and ease to create workflows and other diagrams, and the fact that the board is as large as you need it, with the ability to zoom in and out. Also, I like the variety of tools it provides to make the visuals more enticing and easier to the eye.
What do you dislike about the product?
When trying to share with larger teams, it seems that we continuously face the fact that if they need to collaborate and edit, they can't unless we add them to the team. However, then they get access to other boards; maybe these are global settings, since we are in a corporate environment with multiple teams, I wonder if these settings could be made more granular so each team can select whether it is a single board or entire team visibility/sharing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have mapped processes and discovered pain points and opportunities but also mapped our Enterprise Architecture of applications and the interaction among them. I have used this also to develop procedures and documentation for settings on our applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To try it first, make sure you understand the number of people that will require a license to create to use this to understand well the licensing needs. Training, even though the tool is very intuitive is important.
Miro is a very good resource for me in the classroom. I use it when teaching virtually/in person.
What do you like best about the product?
I like best that I am able to pull up my classroom instructions and have a white board in the same window. On my setup, it would be impossible to use a whiteboard while having other resources up at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could import graph paper for a background and would love to be able to erase part of a line instead of the entire part that I drew without picking up my pen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach math and have my classroom set up does not have an actual whiteboard. Truth is, sometimes you actually need a whiteboard for kids to do math problems interactively on. Kids can also use their Chromebooks as whiteboards while doing boardwork practice. It's less messy and requires zero supplies!!

What do you like best about the product?
Sharing information by mixing Text, images allow engaging persons in collaboration also in remote
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried to use miro for project managing (gantt), but the dynamic manipulation are too heavy: include subtask needs to reorganize le board, a function "insert" like in excel could be an excellent function
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows combining "interactive sessions" with partners and "off-line sessions" off work. Everyone can work autonomously but a permanent link with overs.
Great collaboration platform

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of MIRO and the templates already available (in the paid version) do help enormously with quickly structuring the process from idea to set up of a new business or a project. When you are not sure how to organize it, the tutorials give excellent examples and instructions.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is nothing I dislike and i'm happy with how the provided tools work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Structuring processes and ideas to create new businesses and ventures. My benefit is to work more structured and efficient with my clients

I am a designer and Miro allows me to write and organize ideas effectively and quickly without wasting time. Also, I can interact with colleagues and put ideas together so that everything is clear to everyone.

however, in general, everything works quite well
however, in general, everything works quite well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me brainstorm, and jot down ideas. It helps me communicate more effectively with colleagues and organize projects better
We've been using Miro to organize pretty much every aspect of our organization.
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations and extensions that fulfill many of our use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Kanban tool is a little behind other competitors but gets the job done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning and organizing internal knowledge in a single tool. We don't have to scatter around multiple documents to find what we need.
I really enjoyed working with Miro and creating multiple flows for the teams to edit as well
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use as you can navigate between options and start working on multiple things.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to have a full subscription of the product before you can use all its features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process flows, customer lifecycles etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend it for people wanting to make flow charts and customer lifecycles
Wonderful user experience packed with more and more stuff
What do you like best about the product?
The overall user experience and the features are really nice. I like how seamless it is: the features are in the right place at the right time, it works well. I really love the templates they are quite helpful in a lot of situations and I like the idea that you can create and share templates. Sure, I didn't create and use any, but I like to see what the community does. :)
What do you dislike about the product?
The app sometimes can be overwhelming. It has a ton of features and a lot of templates. At first glance, you can't totally understand the application because it is packed with a whole lot of stuff. But if you are past that phase of the learning curve you will see that it is really helpful. And I think Miro's system requirements are pretty high and it is a problem sometimes because most of the stakeholders whom I worked with have notebooks with lower performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for design thinking research, ideation mainly for professional and personal projects. The main benefit is that finally, I don't need every time a physical whiteboard, Sharpies, and post-its and I can work basically everywhere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice is to try other solutions before you decide which software you want to use because in my opinion for most use cases Miro is too much, and I think some other apps run more smoothly than Miro. But if you want a solution that can do anything you can imagine and your computer is powerful enough to handle a big digital whiteboard with lots of elements on it then currently Miro is your best choice.
