Creating a project space on a one stop platform

  • June 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I adore using Miro alongside my team for collaborating on ideas and organizing upcoming projects. It feels like a comprehensive replacement for many other tools I used to rely on, but it's all conveniently consolidated into one platform. I can easily create a new project space for my personal use, where I can construct or incorporate a template to assist me in planning or capturing ideas. Sharing with team members is a breeze, and it serves as a fantastic brainstorming board or tracking tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Miro's license structure is per-user, everyone who wishes to collaborate on a project must contribute. The problem is that you cannot invite people just to read without paying a license for each user. More stickers would be a fantastic idea. I use them to mark jobs as finished, and I grow tired of using the same ones over and over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes to remote cooperation, this software has been a game changer for me. It enabled my team to communicate and brainstorm without difficulty. Miro assists with the difficulty of reaching an agreement among a diverse set of Product team planners. Miro boards all of the many ideas and then being able to rearrange them into priority order can help clarify the team plan and direction more rapidly.

A good virtual meeting place

What do you like best about the product?
My team and I believe that Miro is one of the best elements for the work team. It is an intuitive as it seems, so it has been ideal for new members.
We work synchronously and asynchronously constantly. It's perfect because we can work comfortably, with no frustrations in between.
We also love the templates. They are convenient for creating the visuals we need after essential meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has a friendly and pleasant interface, but it is too jovial for some. It seems too simple application for what it offers, although it is not a real problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a great tool for encouraging creativity. It is excellent for everyone to contribute clearly with its different functions.
During meetings, we can brainstorm tasks, take the best ones and creat a good diagram summarizing everything.

Easy brainstorming tool for your company

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great for smooth thinking and planning together. The big online board is super cool for making idea maps and doodling thoughts. My favorite thing is connecting it to Slack, which makes talking with my team way easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that Miro doesn’t let me save my boards in all the formats I need. This makes it hard to share my work with people who like different file types or working on different software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is great for sorting out and seeing complicated info. Using its mind-mapping stuff, it's simpler to get thoughts and data in order which really helps when we have to make choices or solve problems.

Great tool for collaboration with remote teams!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to make lo-fi wireframes. The wireframing tools make it so simple. The spaces feature is also great to organize files and easily reference resources
What do you dislike about the product?
When working cross-functionally, it's hard to share work with others when they don't have access to InVision. On other platforms such as Figma - they can at least still see the designs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is remotely distributed, and Freehand is useful for us to virtually whiteboard and discuss ideas. I also frequently use Freehand to create wireframes to present to the team, or when a hi-fidelity prototype is not needed. This saves me a lot of time as I don't need to always use Figma

The quickest and most expansive way to visualize structures and process

  • June 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The speed to visualize a block diagram, process flow, or collected thoughts/images is the best part of Miro. A close second is the limitless boundary of the board... I can create different "neighborhoods" of thought on the same board and visit them when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike is leaving Miro for more data-intensive work - such as the calculations required in a spreadsheet. However, I'm not sure I would want to burden Miro with this additional data need because it is so good at quick visualization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me quickly visualize any process flow or structure, and it helps me to spot opportunities to change those same processes. I must often consider different scenarios that can solve a given functional or engineering problem. Miro is an excellent way to create a preliminary layout of those scenarios. The layouts can be used for collaborative discussion on where to go next.
