I have used Miro for years now. Both as a director of a large creative studio and as a freelancer

What do you like best about the product?
Its fluidity. The ability to quickly create boards. The templates are great to speed things up as well.

I love preesenting boards using frames and have found presentations to be fluid as I can easily backtrack to areas for furhter discussion or someone on a call has missed something.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could upload videos directly to a board instead of having to rely on vimeo etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With remote working Miro helps bring the team together in one place so we can share ideas and imagery easily and quickly. We create CGI iamges and animation and Miro is a great place for team wide reviews of assets we upload to the boards.

We're using Miro as a teaching platform, It's a very dynamic tool with easy access for student needs

  • October 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, ease of implementation, Number of features, and ease of integration, we use the app very frequently but it isn't too demanding on the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of "premium" apps listed on the tools can be rather confusing for editing and requires additional training support for new staff
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since the extinction of the Jamboard we've been looking for a platform that'd fit the needs of our company. MIro supplies us with a perfect interface for that, the learning curve has been very forgiving and the adaptation process seamless.

The best collaboration tool for UX

  • October 18, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to quickly document an idea or concept. I'm often using Miro to facilitate UX workshops for digital products and it's very easy for others to join in who have little experience using the tool. I can find a way to do almsot everything I need to— from creating a quick flow, organize user research, or concept out a wireframe.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything at the moment. Out of all of the competitor tools like Mural, Whimsical, etc. Miro is my go-to favorite tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me communicate an idea or tell a story to others. The biggest benefit is how quickly I can get an idea across.

Best collaborative tool I've tried thus far

  • October 18, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is flexible and works well even with many people in the board. It's my go-to tool for collaborative workshops and brainstorming. I use it on a daily basis.

Specific things I like:
- the board can expand indefinitely (unlike other similar tools like Mural)
- many choices of templates from an active community
- folders help make it easy to find the right board quickly
- navigation is intuitive and new users tend to pick it up very quickly
- many useful tools for all kinds of uses - e.g. wireframing, project planning, presentations, workshops
- responsive dev team at Miro - I made a complaint once on a slightly minor thing about an overlap of a button blocking some of the notes and it was fixed very quickly
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is that sometimes it lags when sharing screens, but not sure if that's an MS Teams problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a consultant, I've had to conduct many online workshops. This has always been a challenge as maintiaining engagement online is drastically harder than in in-person workshops. Miro has helped massively in engaging workshop participants online as it allows us to involve them more in the workshops, as they are able to interact visually as well as verbally, and get immediate feedback on their actions.

Miro's replaced my Post-Its and Sharpies

  • October 18, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fluidity of Miro, how its so closly aligned with my working practices. My workshops where once in person with Post-its sharpies and my vocal timer applying pressure to those in attendance.

Now with Miro I can achieve the same results remotly capture insight and develop feedback that much easier for my workshop participants to slow and reads as the workshops proceed. Participants can take a moment and go back adding to notes without feeling awkward standing and walking across a room. Timers and the additional tools help me as a facilitator to keep things on track and on time.

And the export feature, OMG that's a life saver. I dont have to type up badly hand written notes any more! AMAZING!

Its such an exceptional tool for anyone that workings in UX, Design, Data, Business Strategy where collaboration and communication is essential.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needing to write a business case in order to bring it into the working practices of the company I work for, in my eyes its an essential tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of space and restriction, tools like Google Slides and Powerpoints were the orginal methods I would use for such collaboration, Miro changes this.
