Simplicity and Speed Make Miro a Collaborative Must-Have

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for almost any group work, especially in my university architecture studies. I really like having a common, always accessible whiteboard for ideas, mindmaps, and moodboards, and for defining a common design philosophy. What stands out to me is the easy and fast interactivity, like being able to upload link images and text, and then draw on top of that or add comments. The power of Miro is in its simplicity. I can quickly upload a lot of data points, group them, comment, and share. That's what I use the most. Although I know there are many presets and other, more complex tools, for my workflow, the ease of use and speed are what matter the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that it doesn't work well, but I find it a bit annoying that I have to take a screenshot from some website I want to share and then add a link to it. So if the page is really long, it can be difficult to find the exact place I took a screenshot of. I would like to see an implementation of an interactive screenshot where you can 'import' an image of a part of a webpage, but then when you click on it, it gets you to the exact spot of the page. Also, you can only have 3 boards if you use the free version, and I found the concept of 'teams' a bit confusing, like how that works and how to leave a board or the group. Maybe it would be nice to be able to save a board as a file if you leave the Miro board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a common, always accessible whiteboard for ideas, mindmaps, and moodboards. It helps in defining a common design philosophy.

Streamlined Workflow with Easy Usability

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's usability and ecosystem. It resolves the manual need to create a flow because the preset templates set it up for me. I appreciate using blueprints and templates, especially for the ease they provide when doing lots of the same sessions. This ensures sessions are streamlined and follow the same repeatable process. The initial setup of Miro was easy enough and very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the select function - it can be jarring to press this to not move around notes on the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro resolves the need to manually create flows with pre-set templates and streamlines sessions with repeatable processes using blueprints, improving usability.

Interactive, Secure, but Occasionally Laggy

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really value Miro for its interactivity and seamlessness. It's so easy to use in design, which is something I appreciate. Plus, it's aesthetically pleasing, which makes working with it enjoyable. I enjoy having a variety of options for elements to add to a board, and the security features give me confidence that our space is protected. The initial setup was straightforward, and I found the account creation process simple, with no issues since.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it struggles handling lots of content and lags quite a bit sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us collate various elements like notes, blueprints, and research, linking them effectively. It enables collaboration in a shared space, supporting agile workflows and team effectiveness.

Smooth Real-Time Collaboration with a Simple, Accessible UI

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple and intuitive it is to use. The UI is very straightforward, sharing boards is super easy (even with people who aren’t registered), and everything works directly in the browser without any installation. Real-time collaboration is also a big plus - it feels like everyone is in the same room working together.
Miro is quick to start with since there’s no setup or installation needed. It has plenty of useful features, integrates well with other tools, and I use it regularly for planning and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the boards get slow or glitchy, especially when they become large. It can feel a bit unreliable at times. Customer support is okay, but onboarding for new users could be smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of scattered ideas and unstructured discussions by giving a single space for planning, diagrams, and teamwork. It helps my team collaborate in real time and keeps all our workflows visually organized.

Excellent for Wireframing and Brainstorming

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The instant wireframe templates and the ability to quickly interact with teammates make this tool ideal for fast brainstorming sessions using sticky notes. I mainly rely on it for brainstorming, as it allows me to easily and rapidly organize my references, ideas, user stories, wireframes, and timelines. One of its best features is the ease of sharing with the team, even if they don't have an account, which also simplifies sharing with clients. Since it's a universal tool that almost everyone is familiar with, it has become our company's top choice and frequently used.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue I have is the lack of control over the design process and the inability to create my own design templates. Since I use this tool primarily for wireframing and brainstorming within the design industry, this limitation is quite noticeable. Additionally, I find it challenging to guide the AI prompts to achieve the specific results I need, especially when requesting it to design a flow. Often, I have to craft the ideal prompt using other AI tools first. It would be much more convenient if there were a 'chat' feature available before generating the final output.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we started using Miro, our biggest challenges were collaboration and maintaining transparency between teams, as well as in project operations and delivery. Miro has now become our preferred tool, allowing us to keep all project documents, ideas, wireframes, and timelines in one centralized location. Most importantly, it gives every team member access, which has significantly improved our collaboration. I also appreciate how quick and easy it is to insert GIFs and videos and play them directly on the same canvas—this feature is truly brilliant.

Effortless Collaboration and Seamless Integration with Miro

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how easy it is to use and implement. The interface is intuitive, so teams can get started quickly with almost no learning curve. It also offers a wide range of features, from diagramming to real-time collaboration, which makes it versatile for many types of projects. I appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with other tools in our workflow, reducing friction and keeping everything connected. We use it frequently because it fits into our processes so well, and whenever questions come up, customer support has been responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Miro is that while it’s easy to use overall, some advanced features can feel a bit complex at first and require extra time to learn. Integrations are strong, but occasionally certain apps don’t connect as smoothly as expected. The platform is powerful, but with the number of features available, the workspace can sometimes feel cluttered, especially in large boards. I’ve also noticed that performance can slow down when boards get very large or when many people are collaborating at once. Customer support is helpful, but response times can vary during peak periods.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of collaborating effectively across distributed teams. It gives us a shared space where we can brainstorm, map processes, and plan projects without needing everyone in the same room. This has improved our workflow, reduced meeting time, and made our planning more visual and engaging. It also centralizes information that used to be scattered across documents and tools, which has boosted alignment and made it easier to keep projects moving. Overall, Miro helps us work faster, communicate more clearly, and stay better organized.

What do you dislike about the product?

Versatile Whiteboard Tool with Promising AI Features

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro as a whiteboard for process mapping. It's great for drawing flow diagrams and adding sticky notes. I find the ability to zoom in and out on the canvas really useful because it lets me see everything at a high level and then zoom in for detailed work where I can add sticky notes that aren't visible at higher levels. Also, the AI tool introduced in Miro seems like a good first step, and I think it can only improve from here. Lastly, the initial setup was very easy, which I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the AI tool in Miro could be more precise in following directions. It would be helpful if it could understand instructions more closely when it comes to diagramming specifically. I also wish Miro had a language like Mermaid (a DSL). Expressing diagram instructions in words might not always work well, and having a more structured language for diagrams would be amazing. The combination of the DSL (a fine tuned model on the DSL and diagraming in general) and natural language would give much better results. The AI tool burns through credits way too fast. Being on the Pro and Max plans of chatgpt and claude, and them using the Miro AI it seems very limiting as far as how much I can use before I run out of credits. Even upgrading my plan I can forsee it would not be enough. One of the main reasons is that there is a lot of back and forth and trial and error, and it burns through credits before you can even get at the desired output
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a whiteboard for process mapping, allowing me to draw flow diagrams, add sticky notes, and zoom in or out for a detailed view. I appreciate its high-level overview and detailed canvas features. I wish the AI tools could remove the drudgery of created already specified diagrams. Similar to mermaid, but obviously much better since we are using AI.

Intuitive Design, Excellent for Real-Time Collaboration

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's very simple and intuitive interface. It allows me to draw everything I can imagine, which I find very useful. I don't need to jump between files, which is good. I also appreciate that I can share mock-ups with my team and work on them in real-time. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, it isn't easy to import media from my desktop. I cannot find the button that helps me do it, so I just collapse the browser and drag the file. Maybe to add mirroring to the phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to build mock-ups for designers and plan schemes. It has a simple, intuitive interface, allowing me to draw anything I imagine. I like sharing mock-ups with my team to work in real time without switching files.
